We added LB Wilson, S Harris, CB Nelson  and DE Kerrigan. Was money a factor? Kept us from pursuing anything more. Nelson basically fell in our laps being the best of the bunch. He was just ok. Scrappy.

So now, after being bashed repeatedly,I still opt for a WR in the draft and I would not go past round 2 getting one. If we wanted to trade back(even a few times) and still get picks in round 2,I would be fine with that, but we need at least 1 stud SOMEWHERE

Draft one and bring in a FA.

DT,DE seem like those need to be hit fairly early and of course LB and CB maybe a nice NEW S,but one of those needs sacrificed for a WR. We have 4 picks in 2 rounds,if we can get that to 6 I would feel better by round 2

So when you approach FA how do decide whom to get? Cost isn’t a factor?

In 2016 and 2017, when they moved on from Chip/ Andy and Howie came back humbled.... when we signed Brooks, McCloud...Alshon, Smith, Long, Foles....etc...what factor did money play?

Stop with the distractions of everything else.  The mindset should be ... we are building a puzzle, which pieces do we need, let's go get them.   Just add players.

That's possible. If we get one of the top 4 then a FA should not be needed. maybe pick up someone who is better than Quez, but he;s not terrible for the moment. Ward has good hands,I would like to see him in rotation more especially on those clutch plays we need

If you have to pay the market value or a 26 year old building block FA, then do it.  But most importantly,  gotta hit on draft picks.  Plural.

*note left in Reagors Locker-  "Dropping balls is for puberty, not the NFL"

Agreed,it's a longshot but we need 6 GOOD picks (in a row) from Howie and 2 FA's that fit somewhere. IDK if Howie got better last year or if it was blind luck cause he sure missed on the Reagor pick

Dak is a pass first QB, Hurts is indecisive. How do you ignore Smith for 30 minutes???? That is STUPID

Yeah! That was another "water is wet moment " for Aikman that I took notice to.

IDK I think they play together, it's just they were outclassed, outgunned and outcoached,(don't take a knife to a gun fight lol) so like Joe said the first step is to get the talent in here.Guys that will "fit right in" without taking 3 years to get there. It's a tall order. I don't know of anyone who is disgruntled,so that's something we can build on

IDK about Lane,he is becoming as unreliable as Reagor, don't need that either,so what do you do there???

Shane Steichen was named the Philadelphia Eagles' offensive coordinator during the 2021 offseason after spending the previous seven years (2014-20) with the Los Angeles/San Diego Chargers, where he worked alongside Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni.  I find this disturbing. We should have NP scoring(but we DO)

@Senhorcook Nice Summary!

And YES, dullas doesn't advance!

Now what did they have that we don't? (Rivers LOL)

I'm talking talent per position, team vs team was no matchup. Too many missing pieces from the Birds. Guys with experience but still in prime.

Minshew (I know you hate me bringing him up all the time). Our O line is ALOT better than what he had in Jax. Out TE's are ALOT better than what he had in Jax. Our WR's are somewhat better than what he had in Jax. Our pass catching RB's are better than what he had in Jax. IDK what the refusal is here to let him challenge Hurts. All I see is it's Howie's ego getting in the way

Well bad players can still play together(ask my HS team LOL)

Yes they can play as a team. TEAM as in Bucs talent per position is > than the Eagles. Out matched.

Oh well, time to check my navel for lint 🤣 I had a spare belly button, so I put it in the Navel reserve 🤣

Thats what I said in my post

Welp this Bucs game went basically the same as every game the last few weeks we can’t pass, we start slow. Only difference we played a team that’s offense could capitalize

And we knew this would be the case. We knew if we started slow we'd be in a hole that we couldn't get out. And low and behold the team starts slow and we got in a hole that we couldn't get out of.

Well Pittsburgh KC was a good game

Until all of a sudden it wasn't

My $.02

TB's game plan was simple. Make Hurts throw the ball to beat us. All they did was put 8 in the box and play 1 on  1 press against the WR's. Why in the world Smith had only 2 targets in the first half is a problem. Stupid penalties. Kelce was called twice that killed drives. Barnett get nabbed for a Roughing the passer. Yes, it probably should not have been called. But the HC should know that official called the 2nd most Roughing penalties in the league. Also, Brady is the QB and gets all of those calls. Plu Barnett has a Rep. Someone has to tell him to be careful!!!

Last Reagor has to go. Muffed punt was a turning point. Brady was having a bad 1st half until that point. We now know that Hurts is most likely not the answer. His decision making was poor. There were times all he had to do was sit in the pocket and give the WR's time to get open. Watkins was wide open for a score and he did not see it. He underthrew that TD because his feet were not planted and he ran to his left instead of just waiting a second longer. His passes had no ZIP.

Enough said. This is how I feel regardless of what others say....  On to the draft...

Well he will likely be given another year he definitely needs to make massive strides as a passer in the offseason

Well guessing Gannon is interviewing now for the Denver and Vikings job in the weeks to come. Would definitely be shocking to see him hired as a HC though he was a hot name a year ago
