So 14,19,27 and 2 round 2 picks would help. We really need 6 picks, but the other would have to come via FA

OK I was thinking the 15 pick for a better/higher added round 2. We could probably squeeze out another late pick also

OR even trade with Chicago or Seattle, Get next year's #1 plus this year's #2.... A high #2 this year and a solid #1 next year is worth more if you are looking at QB next year....

Burks-after some review I would not use a 1 pick on him. He seems to be a willing blocker(not real good at it). He seems to have the needed speed and he seems very versatile as to where you could play him. I think we could do better,so I will keep looking

yes VERY true!!!

Olave sitting right at 19,we pick at 19. 14,19 trade the 15 pick. Olave was my initial pick anyway. I need to just stick with my first instincts LOL. If Olave is there at 19,that is a no brainer. So grab a stud at 14,take Olave at 19, have 2 round 2 picks and next years 1 per Stine. I like this plan. All for it. Trade reagor a better gatorade guy

I need 4 cases of Prozac in draft week lol

So let's assume we take some O line in FA(IDK Lane is a big ? for me),but we need a better RG IMO. If we wanted Gardner we would have to move up,so he is out. so using Stines scenario I came up with 1- Booth-CB, 1- Olave-WR  2-Harris(LB bama) 2- Daxton Hill-S-Michigan 3- Devonte Wyatt-DT-Georgia 4- Rasheed Walker-OT- Penn st. Still this does NOT address our lackluster pass rush. Wyatt would help, but the edge guys are still mediocre,so IDK what we do ,but as Stine said this puts us in better position for a 2023 QB. If we stuck with 3 round 1 picks DE would have to be the 3rd pick IMO,so it's quite a mess Howie has backed us into(as usual)

It obvious for us to take the ball. The whole goal was to stay in the game. The closer we keep things the more pressure would be on them. Brady always starts great also.

Dude... your boy didn't put points on the board for 3 quarters.    Stop with the dumb stuff.

It was like the early part of the year again it really was. Screen calls, short passes, easily identified plays.

I don't you guys.  It's been the same all season.   The difference is the opponent.    When you are in lose and go home mode, you lock in on the other team.  The running QB who is limited as a passer and a team reliant on bullying inferior DLs ...that won't work vs teams locked in ...a good team that is locked in.    During the year it's a couple practices and move on to the next game

Ask Lamar Jackson about playoffs and the difference.    Why is this not obvious,  how many more times do we need to see this ???

How do we know if he sucks at drafting a LB when he has never tried? Hicks was drafted in the third and he is doing fine. What safety did we draft in the top 20 in the past 10 years?

Never drafted a S in round 1, I believe in the entire history of the franchise

Correct Joe! So let's not say we suck at something we never did. Howie has never drafted a LB, S or CB in round 1. He has drafted many Wr's and hit on 1 of them of the last 3.... None after pick 10...  He has had mixed results on the D-Line and O-line...

Whatever. He just needs to hit on whomever he drafts.... If he does that I will be happy. Lord knows I cannot expect him to draft what I want! lol

I'm gonna have to order extra Prozac. I was so MIFFED when he took Reagor I screamed out loud. I have my soft pillows I can throw at the TV screen lol (I may need more of those too)

Howie did ok last draft, was it skill or luck? Not hard to pick a top 5 guy and blow it. This is flat out a GREAT defensive draft. I hope he has a dang clue

Does a Chicago even have a 1st??? What did they end up giving up for Fields???

Last draft was solid all around.
Smith was what 60-70 yards shy of 1000 yard season hell think Smith is the first WR to have over 900 yards since Jmatt
Dickerson might be the best player of the crop

Milton flashed should see some serious growth with a full nfl offseason

Gains far exceeded expectations for a 5th rounder

Johnson/Jackson- both made couple plays could definitely be rotation pieces maybe more.

The early draft position helped.   EACH ROUND!

NYG has it for 2022...but I believe Stine was talking about trading back for Chicago 2nd rounder and 1st rounder in 2023.

But we don't need to run him into the ground.

Harris is likely to have a short career

Two ways of looking at that. Really be careful on his snap count and carries so you can pay him or get everything you can out of him during his rookie contract.

https://www.nflmockdraftdatabase.com/big-boards/2022/consensus-big-board-2022?pos=ALL   Linderbaum,Booth and Lloyd. I would replace Linder with a WR JMO.. we played ourselves out of a chance at Gardner-pity he will be a good one. Or we trade back to around 27 for Burks, pick up another round 2 which is my preferred scenario(if I research and he is worthy lol)

That would be a heck of a start. I’d take that. An elite IOL, high ceiling potential S and arguably the best LB. I’d high five with Rosie on that.

Would help towards a QB trade next year only. We have a young teaming building together here. They aren’t geling together as future picks. We need bodies on the practice fields pushing each other. That’s where I feel this team is at. We need to grow a young core of the team for the future here.

Thoughts it was OUR guys that didn’t put up anything.

You can make good and picks everywhere. To act like a top ten pick is guaranteed to be All Pro is laughable.

I'd take a QB in the 6th

If it turned out to be Brady

Seem like the key we need to take this team to the next level. Best case scenario we have extra pick next year Hurts takes massive strides as a passer and don’t need a QB worst case we have the ammo to get a QB that can actually pass.

This team is going to stay limited as long as Hurts can’t pass it’s really that simple. The Bucs game just highlighted what I’ve been saying for weeks

Gannon got another HC interview request from the Texans

The Bucs game showed how we need more of everything.
