Now the leap to beating KC, TB and GB right now is large. I’d probably throw the Bills in there also.

Mayock got axed in Vegas.

We had so much baggage from Malik, DJax, Alshon and Wentz it’s a miracle we could field any kind of coherent team. But we got out from under that now.

Yes ...with all the crap that happened to our opponents.  Without that, no shot.

The leap of beating the Raiders and thr Chargers... would be a HUGE one.

Imagine 2 things....

1. If we don't beat a 9 win team that plays their starting QB in the first 6 weeks of next season... it will be 3 WHOLE years without doing so.

2.  If ATL moves on from Matt Ryan, there is a great chance that all 9 wins in 2021 will be against absolutely ZERO starting QBs in 2022.

Now, you tell me any " decent " or better team that either went 3 years without beating a starter from a 9 win team or make the playoffs without beating a QB who started the following year?

Your big argument is who was better in the NFC that finished worse than us record wise?

Why would I tell you our four win team was good? What does Alshon have to do with anything now? Wrap everything in a blanket and use 2020 team stats against the 2022 Eagles.

Chargers we probably should have pulled off.

Maybe Matt Ryan is the guy to target to trade for.

I said after our SBwinning season I didn’t agree with the oath things were going forward. I was right here….warning you. Backloaded contracts on the wrong players was going to bite us. You realize it now. Hopefully even last season. I haven’t been happy with most of it since the 2018 offseason. But now we got a few things going in some good directions again.

My argument is record wise... we don't have the same record if it weren't for the luck.   I think the pathetic performances vs EVERY winning kinda shows it.

But we have an identity now?   So magically the identity went away, the team just magically came out flat in a playoff game... and the coaches magically didn't coach well after figuring stuff out.

The one consistent that you for some reason do not want to admit... when the Eagles played a decent team with their regular QB, it wasn't competitive.  We beat teams by catching them at great times.    Am I saying we go 0-17, absolutely  not.  Do I think we are more on the level of a 5 to 6 win team than a 9 win team... yeah.

Take the Chargers... how far are they from beating a KC?   Compared to us.  The Chargers are a 9 win team.  They are better than us by a good amount.

The Eagles have a lot of work to do, to be mediocre.   Can't rely on luck every year...although 3 out of the last 4 years, 9 wins was enough.  That's enough to make management not think they need as much.  That's scary.

Who’s the NFC team you think is so unfairly below us but far superior? I’m not getting what your argument is. I called us making the playoffs. Was that based on schedule? Yep. Definitely a large factor.

Nope.   Next gut should be drafted.

I don’t think everybody is super overconfident about this team. They had to shred old money. Didn’t really get paid for Wentz until this next draft. I’m hoping that 16th pick will help. Didn’t for the 2021 team though obviously.

Now we have money to spend on actual FA….not like LB Wilson.

Get me four good draft picks and two key FA this team steps up to the next level.

So we should win 12 games next year. In your mind we were so restricted with everything... now our coach has a year under his belt, the QB no longer is a rookie.. and we have cap space.

A legit 9 win team should then make good strides the next year ... only reason not to think that is that you don't feel the 9 wins was a true barometer?

I agree... the next level to me is average.

I’d base it on the schedule. Schedule is tough. That week 14 bye wasn’t very fair for us. I’m not going to be happy if we are worse than the Giants or Washington.

A legit 9 wins and a great matchup vs Tampa... we got lucky to avoid Dallas or Arizona was the idea.  Yet still that showing?

So you don’t think we are better than ATL? Denver? Washington? Cleveland? Carolina? Minnesota?  Those are the six to thirteen draft spot teams….the below average guys.

Schedule will be AFC South and Pittsburgh with a new QB.   Should be 4 wins.   Our division should be 4 wins... NFC North... should be 3 wins.   Arizona and New Orleans are the other 2 games.    Schedule looks good.  No reason a good 9 win team that now has QB and coach with experience and adds some pieces shouldn't win 11 or 12 games.

Not if health is equal... absolutely no.

We are 19th draft spot. Pretty accurate. I think we could make a case for being better than Pitt.. I wouldn’t be feeling like underdogs against the Pats.

I think 8 to 12 reflects the reality.
