Hurts is far from perfect. But there is no doubts he creates a good work environment. He isn’t out there clowning all the time. He is serious about football. Hurts will improve. That’s easy to say and see. Is that good enough? That’s a whole other question. I don’t see him ever being elite. He does present problems for DC. Gotta improve as a passer. We need to get better receivers also though. Hurts isn’t going to carry Reagor into the Pro Bowl.

As for a leader think Minshew is just fine as a leader hell he was so much of a threat to Lawrence in Jacksonville they felt they had to trade him. 
 

What your not taking into account of a QB1 is probably the most important thing the Ability to pass which time and again Hurts has been lackluster at

Put Shew in vs a GOOD team and see what he can do.if he's just as bad,ok then you have an argument,but you can't tell me Hurts is better after seeing 1 game with Shew vs the Jets which is why siri should have put him in in the 3rd 1/4 of the TB game

  Well, then I suggest we trade back one of our picks and try to get an additional 1st round pick next year along with a 2nd rounder this year. It sets us up for a possible QB next year and gives us a good shot at players we need this one.

Feel like Hurts is a solid starting level QB. So to upgrade over him we need an elite QB. So I’m open to all ideas that get us an elite QB.

Only handful of ways to improve at QB not rocket science we either have to trade for a proven guy or draft a QB… Could sign a FA if you actually think anyone decent is available. 
 

But short term improvement at QB easy answer Garnder Minshew. Honestly if we don’t have an open competition where he gets a chance to be the starter image he requests a trade where numerous teams have interest

Though I don’t think Minshew is the long term answer the GOAT was drafted in the 6th round you know the guy that just destroyed us in the playoffs.

If your going to trade for a Vet QB my guess would be Russ. Of course still can’t rule out Watson. 
 

As for draft question needs to be do we think there is an elite QB say Howell dude has the arm talent to make all the throws if we don’t want to start him day 1 we have Minshew as a stop gap and I’d definitely trade Hurts
