You sound like your back in the Chip Kelly let’s hunt for Sam Bradford mode.

Oh... absolutely not.  I've stated how many times to ride with the current guys and build the rest of the roster now.

Trade both. Run with Sinnett. Pick Chase(top QB) in 2023 draft after Tankseason.

Why can't we have Tank season with current guys?  It would have been one without the luck from the schedule

Ham.... your point was you want to avoid paying the QB 40 million.    You gotta do it if he is a legit prospect.  You can't worry about missing it.  You either have one or you don't...trying to avoid paying for one isn't going to work.  Better off taking chances and missing. Unless your focus is not only on winning the whole thing.

On who? Don’t see it. 40 mil for Wilson. Fine. Gotta give up five high picks probably also. He doesn’t want to come here. ARod 40 mil….fine. Picks and….he doesn’t want to come here. Watson 40 mil….fine. Picks, juries….oh …and he doesn’t want to come here.

If I’m paying 30 mil for a QB….we need that kind of play. Not seeing it. But we could put a team together otherwise. Having more playmakers helps a growing young QB making 1.5 mil. The idea is not having ARod you rely more on the other offensive weapons. Hopefully a strong defense also.

????   Ham... slow down, this is where you miss what people are saying.

Yes...now... don't pat a free agent QB.  Run with the current guys.   Draft the next guy, but when the time comes, if he is legit, you gotta pay him.    Don't avoid paying a QB on purpose all the time

For now.... we aren’t winning anything any time soon.   The focus needs to be long term.  Build up the team for Hurts...he fails, next guy has more to work with.

Derek Carr is my only thought. Maybe with new management and coaches we could pry him out of there. Not sure if I’d call him elite.

I never said don’t ever pay a great QB. Never said that. He has to be worth it. We don’t have it. So we should….be able to have better skill players.

So would you give up two firsts this year and a first and second next for Carr?

It's a win win... for all the people who believe in Hurts... he stays and you get him better talent. For those who don't...and don't want to mortgage the farm for any other QB....we build up the rest of the roster for the next guy.   Either way it works out with Hurts, we come out ahead of where we are now.

No... no vet QB.  No band aid.   Why give up picks as guys like Kelce, Lane, Cox, Slay, McCloud and Hargrave need to be replaced.   To go all in for 2022?   No way.   Only people who think 9 wins was legit and the QB was the only thing holding us back would go for that.

Carr is 30. Be 31 this next season.

You gotta focus on draft.   That is the main thing at this stage.   If we could find Brooks and McCloud like 2016, then fine.  But it shouldn't be the focus.  The draft needs to be a hit, even more so this year.

That's great... the point is we need the picks for other things.

Most are considering that means more than one season. I think that would be our best option. That’s if the crazy new people that take over in Vegas go for it.

Right now, you would trade 2 firsts, a second....pay Carr and give up on Hurts?       I'll pass.

And you waited that long to bring this up.    You had 2 valid points against Minshew....  1.  His size and arm.   2. Why was he only valued at a 6th this past summer?

Instead you venture into Ham world and make up crap about leadership etc..  when clearly, the best attribute Minshew has is that his teammates like and respect him.    The obvious reason he isn't starting now in the league are physical limitations.    It's the same reason why Hurts is not going to last.   Tangibles before intangibles.

Whomever it is, will be here for short term (2022). Hopefully we can moe 1-2 of our 1st round picks into 2023 so we can grab our QB then. Now, someone brought up a good point on Reagor. Yes he is not the answer, but we are paying him nothing, so Howie will most likely keep him. He did it with JJAW a 2nd rounder so he will do so with him.

Build up a much better team. We could bring in a big FA WR. Draft a top WR. Draft a stud RB. Wouldn’t argue if we did all that.

Actually 3.6 and 4.2 mil…..more than he’s worth.

Stine,   I absolutely am on board with trading down to early 2nd and getting a 2023 first back. IMO I think that is exactly what the Eagles want to do. .. If they get a partner.

Just please nothing stupid with the QB position...lol🙏

Reagor that is

Good with all that except drafting the stud RB.... if we get one late that turns out to be one, fine.  But just keep adding to the room with more solid options.  More pressing needs ...the defense needs everything.

I don't see Reagor in the too 3 ...probably not top 4 of the WR options next year.    I don't think that's even a possibility.    Not concerned at all, I fully expect them to upgrade at that position.

Do we keep any pending FA?
I think we should keep all RFA. Singleton, Herbig, Scott and Ward.

Ehhhh on 1.... yes on all 4 of part 2.

Bring back:

Kerrigan? No. Thing we all agree.

Howard? Couldn’t really hurt to have him at camp to see if he has any juice. Confidence is very low. Think he’s done.

McLeod? Toss up. Good leadership, seemed to pick up play and show he’s healthy again towards the end of the season. Could see us going in other directions though.

Harris? Didn’t really work out. Not terrible. But nothing much left. Moving on.

Ridgeway? Moving on.

Stephen Nelson? Toss up. Does he appreciate paying his incentive enough to give us a home team discount to stay?

Derek Barnett? Seee Yaaaaa
