Avery? Probably bring him back. Figuring interest will be low. He can come back on the cheap.

McLeod, Nelson and Avery can come back on the cheap….is my thinking. Went in another direction on all three I’d also be fine with.

Mason Rudolph and Dwayne Haskins…..not good

I don't blame Tomlin. Ben has been trash for a while now. This gives the Steelers, a talented team, a chance to improve.

He has. It was a fairly decent farewell tour season for Big Ben.

I agree Ben hasn't been good.   " trash" might be a little too far.    I feel his OL is bad and they went to that Brady style of quick passes .... which is not his strength.

We'll see.  But I can see the coach being excited to go all in ...in another direction after all this time.

You loved Wentz. Paying him 30 mil. Hurts at least can still grow. He has actually fairly easy improvements he can make this offseason. He visits 1.5 million though and had a better season than Wentz. With such a lesser team ….as you have previously described in detail.

I said we had a punchers chance. Big underdogs. Wanted our rookie coaches to get experience.

Yep.like I said the rope a dope, except we forgot to throw a punch

To become Heisman runner up. Good call on his part.

He's great the the wimp college offense, didn't translate to the NFL much

IMO Bowles completely out coached Siri. Bowles had a few big gambles that paid off. He knew what Siri was going to try to do. Beat him to the punch.

I never said don’t ever pay a great QB. Never said that. He has to be worth it. We don’t have it. So we should….be able to have better skill players.

Is hurts worth 35 million a year? If not we keep looking. Is Shew? Probably not either. I trade back a 1 this year for another one next year and if I have to bundle those to get Bryce Young I do it. Why I want that hole at WR filled THIS year

Three firsts and a third it took the Niners to move from twelve to three for Lance.

Top two QBs the teams wouldn’t trade.

Whomever it is, will be here for short term (2022). Hopefully we can moe 1-2 of our 1st round picks into 2023 so we can grab our QB then. Now, someone brought up a good point on Reagor. Yes he is not the answer, but we are paying him nothing, so Howie will most likely keep him. He did it with JJAW a 2nd rounder so he will do so with him.

I have NP keeping him around as a rotational piece qith Quez ,but after all his screw ups he needs to earn back the playing time. meantime I will find a viable WR

Build up a much better team. We could bring in a big FA WR. Draft a top WR. Draft a stud RB. Wouldn’t argue if we did all that.

RB is back burner,we have too many other issues

Well you need to know your opponent, why I laid out the plan we SHOULD have used. I know the Bucs pretty well and how you can beat them(never easy but you could have a chance). We saw "my plan" on the drive we scored on.Just too late implementing it. Bowles and Brady are usually ahead of everyone step wise. Siri still learning and as I said(like it or not) if you are down you try your BU QB to find a spark maybe because you have nothing to lose trying it,so I thought that was a bad coaching deal there. If it's close,of course you keep things as they are and try different things, but there was no risk putting Shew in mid 3rd. I won't say Shew would have won the game, that would be ignorant, but at that point it wasn't going to get any worse really and if Hurts got hurt badly in the beginning of the season,I would like to have my BU have some playing time with the 1's if I am forced to have him play the remainder of the season. Letting him ride pine does noone any good

I think if the coaching was equal...  we lose by at least 2 TDs      For me to ask my rookie coach to make up that ground on the quality staff that Tampa has....it's ridiculous.    The Eagles really shouldn't have been playing Sunday.   You could argue the coaches overachieved to get there.... the counter would be they would have really had to screw it up to lose to some of those awful opponents though.

Let's move on.    The reality was Tampa took their foot off the gas.  Eagles needed a miracle to win.

Nope, but the beauty of it all was Dullaz went 1 and done too HAHA. Just an awful division right now

Correct.... but I think everything went right for Dallas and the Eagles....couldn't have had worse luck in NY and Washington.    Wouldn't surprise me to see the flip next year.

Everything went right for us? We paid 33 million for our QB to play in Indy. Millions to Malik to play…in Cleveland(I think). Fired our coach and got all new coaches except for Stout.

Our best pass rusher went down early. One of the best G in the league went down early. Those two guys would have made a big difference. Everything went right? Pffftttt

Wentz is gone. and you're starting to sound like those that still blame Trump for inflation.

Look to the future, you'll be happier

Yeah.... when talking to normal people...the discussion is what happens on the field and during the season.   Not the balance sheet or the marketing department.  Yes... both us and Dallas were very fortunate with injuries and schedule.   The opposite for NY and Washington.

One team needs to use a 3rd string QB... but the other team didn't have their pencils sharpened.    Huge disadvantage without the pencils as opposed to the actual player on the field.

The wind didn't factor in Reagor muffing the punt...  the dead cap money was the reason.   How could Hurts complete a pass when he has Alshon's dead cap hit on his mind?

Miraculously...our coaches overcame bad financial decisions vs bad teams this year....but not vs good teams?

Minshew has leadership issues...but his arm is fine.

By pay what would you call Shew’s two starts? He was the third highest paid QB for us.

Give me sixty million worth of production on the field instead of dead cap money I bet we’d be better.

Add up Brooks, Seumalo and Graham and we are getting towards half the salary cap dollars not being on the field to help us.

Cleveland Browns defensive tackle Malik McDowell was arrested in Florida on Monday after allegedly exposing himself near a learning center and violently attacking an officer, according to a report and police records.
