absolutely see what you were trying to say.... but for me, if I dress 8 OL ... I start with the best combo of 5 out of the 8.   One guys gets hurt.... then I lineup the best combo of 5 out of the remaining 7 ..etc.    Always have the best lineup out there that you can.

Which again is what I said way back then thought the best combo was Pryor at RG JP at LG and Semaulo as the 6th

Simply put JP I seen better then both guys but seen him better at LG > RG... Not hard to figure why man played the left side his entire career even moving inside figure be easier to adjust on the left. Also added bonus Dillard would have JP guy who play LT next to him.

Semaulo at G = Pryor at G this to me was a wash didn’t see either at being superior to the other hindsight now was I wrong sure can admit that)

Semaulo > Pryor- This is where I seen things differ thought Semaulo was better at T them Pryor would be.

All moot because everything changed shortly there after but I stand by what I said at that time.

IDK,seems to me the SB was a fluke now.We were SUPPOSED to be BETTER after that, yet we are back to .500 like usual

IDK, do you think the rosters are anywhere near the same ??  I don;t ... 2017 we had depth and a lot of guys all in their prime.   Injuries, age and losing depth guys hurt.    I think the 2017 roster was awesome.   WE have had good rosters, but nothing like 2017 IMO.  Especially once the injuries kicked in.

I'll bet they are. Some of the starters wouldn't be starters on other teams and as a result that shows how bad the back ups are!

So seems like hey were talking OL .... the starters ... Dillard, Semaulo, Kelce, Brooks and Lane ..... those guys wouldn't be starters on other teams?

IDK we can't keep guys on the field long enough to find out,we rush in 3rd stringers because that is our only option

When guys like Gerry are starting I think it's safe to say the depth isn't good.

What? I didn't say OL. I'm saying in general!

Yeah, but your reply was into the conversation regarding the OL

yeah, thought it was obvious Semaulo was better that Pryor....to be honest thought he would be better than Peters at G too.  I didn't get that part of how you assumed that it was even between him and Pryor, they way it seemed was just that you were pushing Semaulo out because he was better at RT than Pryor , which is Lane's spot.  Just seemed like yiu were willing to put out an initial weaker 5 just to have the better 6th man that could jump into more spots? But yeah, they aren't moving Semaulo until he gets a shot to replace Kelce, until then he starts at LG barring anything weird like all the OTs getting hurt.

Yeah, but it's been a consistent rash of injuries and starters that can't play. You had all off season yet you can't play week 1? That's not a good sign.Don't see the toughness we had in '17.Now it's so bad we brought in OLD man JP to "save the day".We have no pipelines where good players need to wait their turn. Kelce getting up there also and we have noone being groomed that I can see at C.I just thought after 2017 we would keep building.Like I said(besides the QB) we have 3 players that are our team Lane,Sanders and JP. If 2/3 of those are out,we can't function and in the 3 years since the SB,we should be in a better position than that.So now we are back to "what do we do with JP next year? Can Dillard play or not?? And if so can he last more than 3 games? Do we re-sign JP?(and before you say no,Dillard has not show his resilience). There are no promising LT's in the next draft,so what do you do? If we kept JP I would like to see him a LOG(not RG) since he likes playing on the left side. That would still leave me in the scenario that we need a LOT ,because at this moment,I cannot trust Dillard

Dude,  Peters is no way coming back next year... he barely could play Sunday.

Lol watching the game and they are talking about Dallas injuries... lol.

Wait...  lol.  lol lol lol lol.  Dude 4 injuries... you gotta be kidding me.  Lane,Brooks, Dillard,  Hargrave, Curry,  Sanders, Alshon...  but a couple LBs  for Dallas and the sky is falling...lol

Maybe as a coach....That is what I saw in his play Sunday, he looked soft and slow just was NOT physical a step slow. It's was only game 1. Peedy did not coach well and hung Carson out to dry. The OL showed it age. Next year we could be trying to replace Brooks, Kelce, JP. Brooks with back to back season ending injuries. Is it time to move on from Brooks? Seamalo and Lane are getting up there in age, Just dont see Herbig or Driscoll bringing that Nastiness or physicality we demand from our OL. We'll never know the real reason that Pryor fell out of Peedys Stout good graces. Why is our OL in such a shambles.?

We just need to beat the Rams, especially since they beat them Gals. I wonder if Hurts is gonna be on the team this week. Aaron Donald is coming to town someone like Hurts with Wentz  on the field together could be disruptive to the Rams.

Yep so we have a problem AGAIN at LOT lol.We have dillweed (maybe) and no real BU's worth a hill of beans. Next draft is THIN on LOT's.We're screwed. So I need Vegas odds on how many games before Carson is hit and out for the season.I'm thinking he doesn't make it to the bye break.Nice job protecting your franchise(NOT).Very poor planning/drafting/developing

Our O line stinks,The Rams will have their way with us.Getting Lane back will help on the right side only.l suspect alot of bull rush blitzes from the right side(our left) .Carson will be on the run yet again

I'm looking at roughly a 6-10 season here

I understand that but I'm just making a general comment. Our OL depth isn't great but then it is hampered by the fact we lost our starting LT and all pro RG before the season even began.

At the end of last season we saw the coaching staff make an adjustment: roll out Carson. Things really started to click then. He’s great on the move at seeing and throwing. So I figured that information would be applied heavily to this season. But no! We have a struggling Oline on top of it but we don’t move the pocket. The Football Team was blitzing up the center. Still didn’t get the QB out of there. That didn’t make any sense to me.

I saw Cleveland do that with Mayfield yesterday too! And yet for some reason our coaching staff doesn't do it with Carson. He's one of the best QBs at throwing on the run, he's really good at it.

So if you were the Rams... your game plan would be to bull rush Peters and Seumalo?    You wouldn't bull rush our C/RG and use more speed on the other side?

Sounds like we are getting healthy heard yesterday everyone practiced....

JP was a weak link on the left side but he will be fine. Getting Lane back sures up the right side.

Lastly someone posted it but most of Washington’s pressure came from blitzes and with a ton of new faces blocking up front and RBs assignments were missed and they got the better of us.

I also put a ton of blame on the coaches and Wentz for not adjusting and picking up blitzes. At some point we had to counter it and we never did.
