Usually teams try and trade players that will be cap casualties before they just cut them.

Usually you do everything to try and resign a player you are keeping. Mailata, Sweat, Maddox…..before they become FA. A few occasionally stay with their team after seeing the market. I think the players Union even pressures these guys to become FA. So now it’s just down to who gets the Franchise Tags.

News flash anyone else here listen to Howie and Nicks presser today. It seems that Jalen is the Eagles Starter moving forward next year. LOL. Good Decision...Howie👌🏿.

How much do you suppose Harold Landry will cost if he reaches FA? Gotta pay him like twenty mil, right? For five years.

You need ZERO money if you are coherent at drafting. other than the very last draft I would rank us as "shaky"

Pity we are so aloof and clueless

So WHY wouldn't other teams do the same????

Maybe old news but Howie said on Twitter Hurts is the QB for 2022

Of course at this time last year he said Wentz was like one of the fingers on your hand and he couldn't imagine losing a finger.

Teams either build teams through FA or the draft.

As much as i hate the Cowpies you have to admire their drafting success over the last 5 years or so

Kiper Eagles round 1 mock   Devin Lloyd-LB, Ebiketie-edge, Olave WR Personally I believe EB is a reach

QB Pickett goes at 18(this could bring Howie into the "shiny object" role). I would rather have Pickett than EB as far as value. Hurts is a good fantasy QB,not much else(because winning with him is fantasy LOL). if I can get Pickett without giving up anything he is an Eagle

I'm totally fine with the other 2 he has for us. Olave/Smith is a nice WR corps( Smith was my initial pick last year and Olave was this year) at WR. Now if you add Pickett without giving up anything, the Offense is DONE(not counting the O line). I know edge is a big need as is CB,but we just need to start getting talent in here-ANY talent

Can’t do both?

What I heard from Rosie is we are heading forward. Believe in building a team a certain way and going to stick to the plan.

Yes but using free agency as the primary means results in a "dream team". We know how well that worked out

You can only read but so much into these statements. But I’m hearing….throw out the thought of first round LB. No matter how many first round picks we have.

Win the SB on big free agent signings. Long, Alshon, Torrey, Jenkins…..

Foles, Blount, Ajayi….

Gotta draft well also. Gotta find players anywhere.

Rosie went through how it could be real good to trade back and get picks for 2023. Getting in a situation similar to this year. He mentions.

He says it depends on who’s on the board.

Sounds like pick 16 is up for bidding.

Then that proves Howie is too stupid to run our draft
