Yep, no grey area there. All for the right to pay Wilson.

A 33 year old QB who did as much damage with his legs as with his arm?

Well, Elway still has his car dealerships to fall back on.

George Patton took over GM after Elway failed so many times.

They were the NFL team that could legit say the QB would make the biggest difference.   Wilson's first choice apparently.

The deal is 4 year 200 mil with 153 guaranteed..   I'm sure you can see where the 4th year probably won't happen.   The " backload" idea isn't a big thing.   If you can keep Rodgers and Adams together,  you do it.

Saving cap space just to save cap space... see Eagles from 2005 to 2015.     If that's what you want, then there is your result.

WRONG... you pass on Lawrence Taylor because the next guy might not use a 3/4.   You pass on Jerry Rice if the next coach wants to run the football.

Let me explain in 2500 words why 1 + 1= 2.

SO "players matter" just not those players you picked before because you may change coaches-comical. At some point something needs to remain constant

Jefferson was the second best WR on his college team. Don’t think he was a no brainer going to be as good as he is. We develop TEs fantastic. So outside receiver with speed was more of a need. Just pick the really good speedy guy.

As some points you need to complete the team puzzle. You have FA and the draft with trade options. Parity of the NFL…..you have a great offseason would launch us into becoming a contender. If we got two FA that worked out and hit on a few starters from this draft and add a bit of depth…..how good can we be?

LMFAO I'm sincerely happy you don't scout for this team. I(and about every other fan across the globe) had him(JJ) nailed for us early on. I'm waiting for you to EVER be convinced speed is not the ONLY factor you look at(luckily I will be dead before that light comes on)

You have players you guys got a different system though

So you want to avoid good players because "well the coach may change" You will always be .500 with that thinking

SO would you offer a 1 + to GB for Love?

But that doesn't matter because your coaches may change 🤣

Speed isn’t the only thing to look at. But it was very obviously clear that our team speed was sloth-like. AR’s ways rely on having that speed. Torrey didn’t have to go for massive yardage. His impact was massive though. Alshon and TEs wasn’t going to work without it. To me it was very obvious. We really got old and slow across the board. Speed shouldn’t be the only thing to look at…..but you need it somewhere.

Rank

8

Allen Robinson

WR · Age: 29

Was Robinson's decline in 2021 mostly due to his situation? This ranking assumes that to be the case, because he was a borderline top-10 receiver until a discouraging season where it appeared he was playing out the string in Chicago.       Rosenthal from NFL.com likes him like I do. has him ranked as 8th best FA and if we moved quick we could probably pay him like he was ranked 30th

My scouting has been very strong. How many quality players have I identified throughout the years? I have a very strong record.

Before the pick I called him a 1 trick pony and thats all he was and thats all he still is,except how he catches like he has pony hovves

You said Rosie needs to listen to the coaches to get the guys they need. I just pointed out that our coaches might not all be here more than one year. I don’t want to avoid good players at all. I am leery of getting system fit guys for a system we won’t be running for long though.

IDK you look at 40 times. a 4.23 very cool. SO you can run a 4.23 4 times before you peter out and run 4.55's after that. Gotta look at things like route trees, smoothness out of breaks, good hands, will fight for 50/50's and I saw none of those qualities in Reagor. Can he run his 40 time for 30 minutes? Gimme a guy with above traits who can run 4.4 every play ALL game

Well the only ,way you pull that off is if you already know and can sign the coaches you have in your head for next year. No way can that be accomplished

I was all about Chase. People had doubts after PS drops. He delivered. I wanted Hollywood Brown but we took Dillard. I liked Quez as my sleeeper. I can go on and on…..

See a guy like Reagor runs a 4,23,so the QB gets used to that timing. After 4-5 plays of that he can't run that and the ball is early(out of reach) because that is what the timing is in the QB's head. You can't ask the QB to change his rhythm because a WR is inconsistent

Sure but we all know Chase was ungettable unless we sold the farm
