IDK you look at 40 times. a 4.23 very cool. SO you can run a 4.23 4 times before you peter out and run 4.55's after that. Gotta look at things like route trees, smoothness out of breaks, good hands, will fight for 50/50's and I saw none of those qualities in Reagor

I wanted to trade back in a strong class of WR because there were several to choose from. Reagor, Pittman, Higgins, Aiyuk…..believe there were two others. Trade back doesn’t mean take Reagor at the original spot. I had doubts about Jefferson for us. That part is true. I was leery of a guy that was the second best WR on his college team. A guy that many scouts had pegged as a slot WR. We had two TEs and nothing outside. No speed to stretch defenses deep and nothing outside to stretch defenses wide. That’s tough to be successful with for any OC.

Chase wasn’t attainable for us. He climbed that high. I was stating this before the 2020 draft though.

Welp then you feel the same way about Smith and would have avoided him, which would leave us with Reagor as our 1 and Ward as the 2 and Quez which really kills both QB and WR development. And while I love a good defense you aren't winning games scoring 9 points a game

I talk about guys we can GET,not the dream team draft

Out-later

SO "players matter" just not those players you picked before because you may change coaches-comical. At some point something needs to remain constant

Right.. Don’t draft LT ....you might go to a 4-3 in a couple years....lol

Quez Watkins was the 200th selection in the draft. I’d say I scouted that very well.

I was all about Chase. People had doubts after PS drops. He delivered. I wanted Hollywood Brown but we took Dillard. I liked Quez as my sleeeper. I can go on and on…..

Which one was Hollywood Brown?  The video game guy?

Deebo Samuel was another guy I was high on. He turned out pretty good for a second round pick.

Don’t think I was the only one on taking DK Metcalf instead of JJAW.

Wonder if we could finagle Wagner at LB

Not hard when you pick everyone in the top 35 WR's lol

Well thats a HUGE problem when Howie cannot identify players. SO he got lucky(by default) with Smith and my fear is he hasn't put the work in at WR(or anywhere else) and think he knows more than anyone and we'll take another Jjaw(aka wasted pick). If I could add Bobby Wagner and Allen Robinson I would feel really good heading into this draft

No, you don't draft a LT because you think you will lose your Oline coach next year

Hard to believe Denver gave up what they did. Sent Noah Fant away also who still has lots of upside. Poor Wilson will have to do it all alone for years LOL

Well, with Wilson going to the Broncos, it leaves only a few top QB's left in the NFC; Rodgers, Murray, Stafford and Prescott(if you choose to include him).

The AFC West is loaded with QB Talent. Carr being the worst with over 5000 yards passing last year...

A 33 year old QB who did as much damage with his legs as with his arm?

Well, Elway still has his car dealerships to fall back on.

Yet the Media places Denver as the solid favorite in this deal. Yes, They were a QB away from Competing for a title. But exactly how much did they gain? Do they really think they have enough to compete with KC, Buffalo and others on the top of the conference? Seattle is in a complete rebuild now. It will be interesting to see how long it takes. I doubt more than a couple years to get back to where they were before the trade. They have good evaluators so I expect them to nail the drafts and find players that help.....

IDK Someone should snag Love. If he is the heir apparent in GB he should be good enough for us LOL. I doubt he will want to sit another 4 years

https://www.profootballnetwork.com/2020-nfl-draft-utah-state-qb-jordan-love-scouting-report/ SO what are we waiting for lol. We're not really in position this year(unless you sell the farm) for a top QB and I doubt we would be next year if we win as many games as we did this year. Love isn't going to want to sit another 4 years,so go see what GB wants for him. I'm sure a 1 plus, but if it's not too ridiculous,we could have our possible franchise QB(even if he has to sit this year 1 year is better than 4 on the bench)

Of coarse FA can effect your draft choices. If you sign JuJu you aren’t taking a slot WR early. Having Goedert just signed if we picked up a quality TE in FA it wouldn’t be wise to draft a TE early. If Kelce retires and we sign a big FA C then I’m not drafting a C high. I’m really not high on drafting a guy high that will struggle to play because of the depth chart.

Your overthinking it way to much. If we signed Juju it wouldn’t stop me from taking a WR your to fixated on the slot role.
TE- not sure I’d take a guy round 1 anyway but if someone fell in round 3 or 4 would that FA signing stop me from getting a TE no.

OL- We drafted a C early last year with Kielce still playing and had spent big money on Brooks and Semalo yet Dickerson still looked like our best draft pick and took over a starting G role. So no signing a big FA or Kielce returning wouldn’t stop me if we really liked an interior guy.

GB might trade Love possible not sure what his value is though… Hard to say If Love is an upgrade over Hurts or not but at the same time the Eagles actions clearly don’t support the we are all in with Hurts they been trying to sell
