Watson is a clear talent though. Don’t get the intangibles but get the athletism.

Watson won their division in 2019

Yes... and who else was on the team?   I'm not saying he isn't good.  My point is it's a team sport.   To win the whole thing you need the whole puzzle.   My impression of your idea is that you think everyone is like the Rams.  The Eagles need way too many pieces and with the way the salary cap is going, that's why free agency is not the same as before.  Relying on that... which I what you are doing after giving up your draft picks, that could also be your trade chips, away.

Looking forward to hearing Watson gets traded elsewhere.  This way it shows Howie isn't just looking for attention.   I don't want to hear the spin.   Just draft well again this year... and we go from there.. 2012-13  style... let the BS pass, and keep adding, we can set it up to last this time if done right... with more younger pieces that can stay healthy.

You could look at it as Wentz and the trade back for Smith ….that’s two first rounders right there. Think we got a third not a second for a Wentz….but pretty close.

Yeah that's one way of looking at it. And when you look at it like that then yeah that doesn't seem so bad... But this roster still needs so much.

The Rams brought in a S, a pass rusher, a WR….sure I’m not remembering everybody.

RBs mostly don’t  last long. You shouldn’t draft a RB for a rebuild. You want him for the contending window. Watson could play for ten more years.

I wouldn’t want to miss out on an elite QB over one second round pick….I’ll say that.

My fear is more that Watson just chooses somebody else instead of wanting to play here.

Then don’t complain about Hurts. We don’t need to spend anymore draft capital on him. Watson is the one guy that is an upgrade. If you don’t want to pay the price then go buy a Hurts jersey.

They didn’t have enough evidence to even charge him with any wrong doing.

Probably half the guys I know have had a Happy Ending at a massage parlor. I’m not going to be overly judgemental about that.

For Watson? Given this roster that's too much for any player.

Two first and two 2nds for Watson would be easy especially with our extra draft ammo right now you don’t even really set this team back.

Even if you used two 2022 firsts and the 2nds the next two years.

Eagles would still have a 1st this year 1st next year and all there picks minus the 2nd round and a proven  QB that only 26.

Sooo we stay a middle of the pack team that then has to trade multiple 1st round picks on a maybe qB and waste the talented roster yup great plan.

Seen many great teams get held back by bad QB play he’ll look at Minnesota roster was top tier couple years ago and then they had the QB we crushed on the NFC champ game and Cousins wasting the roster away.

Bucs they always had a good roster Winston kept them avg. get Brady SB team.
Rams strong roster Goff limited them.
SF strong roster Jimmy G limits them and they are in unknown territory with Lance if he doesn’t pan out could just waste a great roster and lost a ton to get him.

Come on Ham you know everyone is going to stay saying this man is guilty who cares that he was found not guilty by people that had way more evidence and facts on the situation then any fan

wasn’t found not guilty just found not enough to go to court.

They used picks for trades, to get those guys.  This Eagles roster needs way more.  Especially considering having to replace the older guys.

Draft a young QB .... this team sucks,  this is what you miss.  Hurts as a placeholder for another year is ok.   They aren't winning anything yet... then they have to not only add, but replace Kelce, Cox, Slay, Lane...etc.  Long way to go.  It's not a roster that can forfeit 6 premium picks.

Dude... our roster is not talented.  Stop it.  5 win team with flat out gifts for wins last year with the timing of the opponent injuries.   We got wiped by every decent team we played.   Your best players, Slay and Kelce are done soon.

Middle of the pack...lol.

Yup like you said last year lol and when we are a middle of the pack team again next year you will have another excuse

So again people with way more information and facts on the case then you decided not to charge him with criminal charges. Yet you know for certain that he is guilty

What’s done soon since you love to say it every year… Next year, two years, 5 years lol

i know that 22 women are saying they had similar experiences with him… weather it’s deemed criminal or not. i don’t want that around my team, doesn’t matter if he is gods gift to football or the worst player on the team.

And again 22 women involved yet they couldn’t find evidence enough to charge him….. Sorry don’t assume guilt on anyone without evidence and right now there is zero on Watson
