You guys give the perfect conversation showing the importance and the effect of a QB having weapons.  Stafford and Ryan...both examples of guys who did and didn't have them and results showed accordingly.

I really feel the Eagles need to trade down at least once this year. Grab a later first with another first next year, or an early second with a first next year, or both!

Want to see CB/S/LB/DE/DT/WR, whomever the Eagles feel is most important. I have no clue who that is, but they had better be a solid starting caliber player, not "I am smarter than everyone else" Pick

Unfortunately can’t rule out QB. I think it is unlikely but the Eagles are at QB pro days watching these QBs and if they fall in love with a guy they will definitely pull the trigger on a guy that’s just how this organization is.

If there is a QB in this draft that the Eagles fall for I’d think it’s Malik Willis.

He gives you all the athleticism of Hurts if not more with a plus size arm. Think Ridder could be a sleeper that climbs up boards as well.

Eagles are reportedly interested in Jarvis Landry wonder if we will see the Eagles we’re just late or just missed out on like they have said on numerous guys so far this FA lol

Matt Ryan to the Colts for a 3rd… would image that means ATL is all in for a QB in this draft not even sure who they have as a backup

Wow they say ATL is looking at Mariota could get him cheap I’d image.

Winston back with the Saints on a 2 year deal

Bucs have an easy ride back to the playoffs…. As great as Brady is that man has lucked out in his divisions… AFC East was a joke most of his career in NE and now the NFC South

Kenny Pickett’s effort today was for all intents flawless. He ran through a 56-throw script, one that ran from anticipation throws to those that showed off his arm strength. He had meetings w/ eight teams from 9am-9:30pm yesterday (dinner was on the #Eagles!) and has more today.

Signed Pascal former Colts WR

Can even look at the numbers if the eye test doesn’t work.

Stafford

2021- 4800 yards 41-17 td/int

2020- 4000 yards 26-10 td/int

2019- 8 games 2500 yards 19-5 td/int

Ryan

2021- 3900 yards 20-12 td/int

2020- 4500 yards 26-11

2019- 4400 yards 26-14

Ryan lost Julio. Then lost Ridley over who knows. Stafford was playing on avery loaded offense.

Trading down for the sake of just trading down doesn’t work for me. Give me a good enough offer and I’ll consider.

The most obvious move of this postseason.

Howie has something planned. No reason to cut Cox to save on cap without a move in mind. Keep that thought....

Good point

Ryan hasn’t really looked elite since 2018 been good after that and still isn’t bad now but definitely it the same caliber QB.

don’t even think it’s debatable at this point in there careers I’d easily take Stafford over Ryan any day of the week

I don’t think either are elite at this point. I obviously have Hurts ranked ahead of both.

Just to clarify....

Jalen Hurts ... ranked higher than Matthew Stafford????

Yes because the Lions were a loaded offense lmao where Stafford played his entire career minus last season.

Yet stafford put up similar #s in 2019 when Ryan had Julio and Ridley…

I think the 1 year deals give away what Howie is targeting for the draft- DL, Safety/CB, and WR.

Lmao just stop just stop Hurts isn’t even top 15 QB dude is a high end backup who struggles passing.

The only reason he should be consider over either Stafford or Ryan is that he is 23 but he isn’t remotely better then either

I call it like I see it. Ryan has surprised me by his longevity. Stinks that team hasn’t been relevant for so long. Not like I’m really a fan of them or that city. Matt Ryan I’ve always respected. I think he can do more than Peyton Manning did at Denver. Colts are a strong team. They’ve been doing it without spending and backloading also. Wentz lovers I don’t think can still wrap their heads around how much he held them back last season. I think the Reich lovers need to check their stuff also though. He’s a solid good coach. But he doesn’t seem to have much for the big games. He’s just kind of nonoffensive and average. Had some real quality GM moves and a strong defense. Pulled his weight on offense…..but he’s nothing elite as far as offensive minds. Think we employed Reich in his sweet spot….OC under a sharing and open minded offensive HC.

Not exactly sure where to fit Tannehil. But have Ryan right after Hurts. His knowledge of the game and postseason and massive football IQI would trust for a contender short term. I have Trevor Lawrence next. He hasn’t earned it much yet. But he has a high ceiling and now a quality coach. He’s rising. Think Stafford had all the tools last year. Really thought he was mostly disappointing. Thought he still held that team back. Which is scary considering they won it all. But not nearly as bad as Goff(whom i have several spots later). Wilson is tricky. He looked like he is declining. How much of that was injury related and his already mentally checking out? We’ll find out. Wentz is next. If he can adjust to what he can actually do now then he could rise back up some. Mayfield probably next. He has limitations in his arm, athleticism, height, leadership and maturity. Bit of a diva that I’m not impressed by. Teddy Bridgewater probably fits here. He’s consistently accurate. Also consistently not enough. Heinicke would be next. I think he’s a bit underrated. He’s my bar of I’d want more. So I agree with Commanders. Steep price for Wentz. But Rivera can’t go through decades with no real QB play. Just not fair to judge him on much of that. Garrapolo is tough for me to place. He can play pretty great but he’s not the guy I want to rely on and trust as my franchise leader or to get things done in the clutch. Stats wise he should probably be higher. But I think I actually believe in Wentz more. Wentz is capable if all this put him in check to become coachable….how could it not?
