With such an insane and crazy off season odd to see the Eagles so quiet.

We have seen what 4 QBs traded possibly two more will be traded

Two star WRs traded(reportedly we were interested in Ridley before he got suspended)

Mack got traded

Didnt think we were going to spend big like that in FA or trade but i did think we would have been a tad more active in the 2nd faze of FA with the mid/low tier guys

I thought the deal for Pascal was a waste of time. I suppose he can rotate in the slot with Reagor, but IMO 2 mediocre players don't produce one good one. I think Howie made a cheap move just to make one although Pascal probably has better hands,so we shall see. Another "reunion" pick, which we need to stop. That is no reason to sign players. Like you I was rather shocked we didn't make at least ONE decent FA acquisition. We had the loot to sign ONE. Suspect we pick up a few more cheapies, but after this long you're not getting anyone that really matters

Reddick wasn't at least a " decent" FA acquisition?

OK, have to see  how he plays. Our D has been less than stellar on the coaching front

https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/R/ReddHa00.htm   You can see the production drop off even playing 16 games in NC as opposed to better stats in 12 games at AZ. So I can't get excited about this pick up yet. I hope they know what they are doing signing him to a 3 year

I mean the money was that of a pretty decent FA ....don't you think?   It's a pretty major move.

A major move that could work.............or not. Like I said I can't get excited about this yet. I will have to see how he plays HERE

Research the last time an Eagles player recorded 11 sacks.   How many free agents get that $$$.   It's a major move.

We always need to see if it works out or not....that's not what makes a move major or significant.  It's the investment.

I think Pascal screams Siri… Pascal was one of his favorites in Indy. Can’t complain we have a GM that doesn’t listen to the coaches then complain when he gets coaches guys they want

Three things

A. Reddick played all 16 games in AZ he only started 11 better look would be snap count. And how many of those snaps was rushing the passer.
B. Could playing next to Chandler Jones in AZ have helped compare Burns in Carolina.

C. Doesn’t AZ run a 34 so the OLBs are the edge rushers vs Carolina that plays a 43.

1.5 sacks doesn’t seem like that massive of a drop off.

LOL like there are no BAD investments?? It's could be a BAD "major move". I will get excited if he PRODUCES HERE

IDK "reunion" pick ups scream "we don't know what we're doing so we'll go back to what we knew before because that makes us comfortable" IMO it screams lack of confidence.

Welp they must like him or they wouldn't have done a 3 year. Like I said,I hope they know what they are doing

Right...it could be a bad major move... but it's a major move.  You said we didn't make any major moves in free agency...we did.

I think you just look at WR too much.  There are other positions

Not sure how it is seen as a lack of confidence. Coaches are always going to gravitate toward guys they know and like can’t think of a single coach that doesn’t try and get some of there own guys in there. That how I see the Pascal move now.
Can’t say I’m excited for it but it is what it is

He started all 16 in NC so I'm not sure what you mean? His per game stats were better in 11 games in AZ,that is a DROP off in NC

He is only 27 and he is 5th in sacks over the last two seasons. His deal is actually 5 years(or 6) with like 3 dummy years in the back that the Eagles can cut him

Yeah, not excited either. I suppose he has better hands than Reagor,so that is a slight upgrade if Hurts can get him the ball. I don't HATE the move

He played in 16 games in AZ does it matter if it counted as a start or not????

he had 874 snaps in 2020 for AZ he played 854 snaps in Carolina

Saint and Falcons not great teams( O lines). The Bucs were, so like I said I can't get excited until I see him play HERE

Yeah..  drop off to 11 sacks... which we haven't gotten in a long time from an Eagles player.    That's why he got paid as a major move.   It's our only major move, but it still is major.    Pascal shouldn't bother anyone one way or the other.  He is a role player that teams need to sign...  you need to fill out a roster.   For us it's actual NFL level WR, which we haven't has many these last few years.

No he was IN 16 games his last year in AZ,he PLAYED in 11/16. So his snap count and stats DROPPED off in NC(on a per game basis). I hope he gets back to the way he played in AZ and not in NC
