USFL looks interesting. They have rules fans like. They have kick offs(from the 25 as it should be!!!). NO roughing the passer-take your licks as it should be. They have a few other funky rules. If I read it right if you score a TD you have 3 options. One of them is you can do a 4th and 12 from the 33(no points). If you make that you KEEP the ball (this should be interesting). So in theory if you keep making 4th and 12's the opponents offense would never see the ball lol(I was watching on TV and didnt really pay attention that close,so could be wrong)

Mmmmm you would like to think so but there is a reason why not every 34 OLB is equally as good as a 43 DE and vice versa.

Utilizing a player to maximize his talent is massive.

My thoughts differ on Reddick a bit it seems. He thrives as a standup Wide Nine DE.

Smallest DE we’ve had in fifty years.

Finally getting to see some of what Paschal brings in the Red Zone. He can be a good weapon for us there.

Reddick hits the cap at a whopping…..4 mil this year.

We essentially have Reddick for two seasons. One with Gannon and one with his replacement.

Why won't we have him for 3 years?    Your thoughts are they don't want the $20 mil cap hit in 2024...instead they prefer the $19 mil dead cap?

You don't think his play would be worth $1 million difference?

I'm looking at it like we have him for minimal 3 years, but it's set up to extend him in 2024 if needed.

GB Saud we didn't make any significant moves in FA.

I said Reddick at $45 million us pretty significant

GB said his stats weren't as good with Carolina as they were with AZ.

BG brought up that he played OLB in 3-4 with AZ, but OLB in a 4-3 with Carolina.  He then stated he had 11 sacks in 438 pass rush attempts.

So I said, using the logic of different fronts..  and using Reddicks lower stats with Carolina, that I don't care how they use him...if he gets those same stats with Carolina...4-3, 3-4 ...doesn't really matter since he produced at a level e haven't seen here in a decade.

I'm assuming he is an OLB, being that's where he has played with both teams.. and that we are going to be using a mix of both fronts.  They obviously got him to rush the passer, they aren't paying that money for coverage or run stopping.  He was stand-up rusher in both systems correct?  So wouldn't it be sage to assume we use him same way?    You can have 2 guys rush with the hand in the dirt and both edge rushers do it from stand up in a 4-3 alignment... why do we need the outside guys with their hand in the dirt?  Doesn't matter what the front is, he can rush standing up either way?

Barnett resigned...  so they addressed the personal foul position.

Yep the walking flag returns. Jeez I can't believe what a ish show this offseason is already. And Howie hasn't even done his damage in the draft yet.

#Eagles before today had Josh Sweat + Brandon Graham starting at DE. Graham’s coming off Achilles. Depth at DE thin. (Reddick is SLB). I’d still expect them to target DE/DT/EDGE high in draft. Barnett’s deal, probably structured 1 year and not much $, doesn’t get in the way.       Agreed. I have had those 2 spots 1/2 for awhile now. May use a later pick on an extra on these positions for added depth

It’s confidence in a cheap vet option. Great practice and work ethic. As a fourth or fifth WR move. Not every move is WR1. Solid routes and catching. Great enthusiastic blocker.

Nah confidence would be offering 1/2 mil more to get an impact WR like Robinson LOL. Pascal needed a new start and we needed a "feel good" FA move, so it's a win for both, but once again waiting around for the cheapies to surface. Other than better hands(which is important) don't see alot of difference. Suspect he will rotate with Reagor and maybe Reagor figures out what his JOB is,so at least we are 1/2 way to getting Reagor off the roster OR he does what he was drafted to do now that we lit a fire in his jock

I'd rather BG on one leg than Barnett the walking flag. We got rid of him and yet he's back again like that bad smell you can't get rid of.

I'll be honest... I probably won't watch.

Smart, unfortuately for me I am masochistic and will watch. I will have my toss pillows(I throw at the TV on draft day) ready to go. I have 4,so I don;t need to get up off the couch in round 1 LOL

If I lived in the US I probably would suffer it. But we won't pick until the early hours in the UK.

I was thrilled he was OFF the team,so you know how I feel about his return. I suspect a high pick here and another one later to remove barnett for GOOD

I don't see it bud. I think the top guys are going to be off the board. I think bringing Barnett back is an acceptance that they aren't going to be able to address the position as they had hoped.

No Mas I thought they said there is a 13.6 mil option

Not sure where Reagor factors in. Think Pascal gives JJAW and Ward a run for their money. Adding competition for depth.

If Pascal only gives those guys a run for their money then we are in a lot of trouble. He should really surpass both with little issue.

Old school.. I used to read the Sunday paper after the draft...was never this big deal.
