That wouldn’t be bad.

We took Smith at 10 after trading back.

So you want Olave over Wilson, London, Williams and Burks?

yeah you're right. Still if we took Olave at 19 there would be a slight difference between 10 and 19. Either OSU WR is NFL ready. I'm not a huge Burks fan, could be wrong about him,I just think he is a bit overrated

I would take either OSU WR. London will go before we pick. Burks had next years #1 QB throwing to him, Stroud plays more like Hurts IMO,so the OSU transition should be much easier

A late sleeper WR to watch is Danny Gray from SMU

This kid is QUICK(4.33-40).I would take him late and boot Reagor LOL

From what I’m seeing in mock drafts we could easily get DE Karlaftis, DT Wyatt, and S Hill in the first round. Would anybody really be against that start to the draft?

Steven Nelson has hung out there long enough that we should be able to bring him back at a reasonable rate.

Henry Riggs was a super high draft pick given every opportunity. Ward is a converted QB that nobody wants to give a chance but he keeps proving himself against all odds. Not sure what your comparison was for? Definitely doesn’t seem applicable.

I think BG makes a good point.    The bar is low for the Eagles and some of their fans as far as WR is concerned.... when Greg Ward is even a topic of conversation.

IDK bro, would you trade back for a later 1 and a 2 and take a chance on Ojabo in late 1????

Well he is a decent BU. Noone is expecting him to start, but in a pinch he is serviceable. So he is fine as a BU unless we can find someone better

Walker 272,  Davis 341 and Wyatt 307 pretty huge size gap between the three Georgia guys

This is at the heart of the dilemma with Ward. Nobody wants to give him a chance. He’s not fast enough. Not tall enough. Hasn’t played the position enough. Yet he keeps fighting and earning a spot. When he actually gets on the field…..he actually produces. He’s a solid player. Seems to me he comes in and….scores a TD. Or finally was utilized and help carry us to the playoffs. I’m not going to argue his stats are so great. I’m arguing nobody wants to seem to put him on the field. He does produce when out there. He’s not the sexy choice. Just a solid dependable one that has a good connection with our QB.

He gets on the field for one reason.... the team he is on is absolutely pathetic at the WR position.    Remember when it was his fault for dropping the TD instead of Hurts??   That was the most I remember him last year in a conversation... your defense of Hurts by blaming Ward.  So apparently he doesn't always make the play when he gets the opportunity.

IDK a trade back for Ojabo or Mafe could work and give us additional picks

IDK…Ojabo was a very athletic project I thought. Haven’t heard anyone speaking if polish with him. Just getting injured…..can’t see him being very good his first two seasons.

With Ward ….seven receptions three TDs. Doesn’t that scream something to you? Yes he did drop one TD and it should be eight receptions with four TDs. They just threw all kinds of lesser options out in front of Ward.

Hasn’t gotten on the field enough. He would have been a better weapon than many that they’ve shoved ahead of him so many times.

Eleven targets

Seven receptions

Three TDs

I think though he has so much talent QB's will get tired of him picking them off and refuse to throw at him LOL(that is called intimidation). Love to have a guy where you tell your opponent"well your #1 WR is taken away" lol

Oh absolutely yeah! That's a shutdown corner if that's the kind of level he can reach. Hell that's a playmaker if he can come away with the ball a number of times.

Welp he was ranked around 15,now in late 1,so maybe there is value if you can wait him out. It's not like we're going to the SB this year

Yeah... it screams Keith Byars as a QB

Rudy made a sack on his snap for Notre Dame... best papa rusher of all time.

https://www.nflmockdraftdatabase.com/big-boards/2022/consensus-big-board-2022    if you ignore picks 1-32 and focus on 33-maybe through 59/60 you can see there are players there to help us. Now Howie needs to decide if he wants a little more quantity without giving up too much quality. Guys like Brisker in 2,so it would not surprise if we moved back, even twice to pick up additional round 2 picks. SO after doing that, go back and see who is there in late 1(say 25-30) if there are 2 guys there you like and 2 more guys in 2,then we should go there
