I’d prefer if we could add quality young core of players that can practice, play, gel and grow together. I think that should be the idea currently.

Yeah, we started that last year, so lets keep that going. We need nearly everything and we can make big strides on the rebuild in this draft

Then he should easily be a top 10 pick, and as we all know speed doesn't automatically translate to an NFL WR's success (see Reagor/Ruggs) Smaller school, needs alot of polish and a guy you take with the hope he can help you before the year is over which I believe he could, but I don't consider him a guy who can start day 1(maybe you do)

I do on this offense. A few others as well. He’s going to go in early R2. The tape and the combine were too good for him to be there in the 50’s.

Treylon Burks WR Arkansas

6'3" 225 4.55 40 time

At 4.55 does he remain a first rounder?

Yep, I agree early to mid round 2

Hard for him to get open, not really fast enough to gain separation. I like his height if you are looking for a RZ threat.

White ...  the LB position has been answered.... for sure now I don't think they draft a LB in the first.

Haha….don’t know much about him in the NFL. Supposedly been improving each year. Played the Spur(hybrid S/LB) in college at West Virginia. We are getting small real quick.

Like a semi TE / X

Don’t think I’m feeling Burks. Not sure he translates very well to the next level.

So how is this 2 years? IDK Dickerson seemed to "get it" his rookie year. His learning curve was accelerated because we were forced to play him(even still injured). SO the point is no I would not take Ojabo at 15, if we traded back and still needed an edge, I would pick him up late 1. You KNOW someone going to take a chance on him. Re-signing barnett(although I hated that call) gives you a little cushion to work another guy in and like I said,it's not like we are 2 picks away from a SB,so for me I find the best value I can find.if I have to wait a bit on them,so be it, IF IF IF, I am certain that potential will come(and we have some issues on this front) By all accounts every scout I read says Ojabo needs polished anyway. He can work on his technique while he is healing. You would have to rely on the med staff for this call and I am not privvy to that information. All I am saying is it's a POSSIBILITY like the 5,000 other possibilities

How does Ojabo compare to Dickerson? Dickerson has tons of experience and is huge with some quality athleticism. Ojabo has everything still to learn. Two completely different players. Different styles.

Add him to the list. Kiss of death for us to sign you as a LB.

Work on his technique while healing from Achilles tear? Good luck with that.

I don’t know how big White is now…..but he came in at 218. Hopefully he’s bulked up.

If I trade back for a pass rusher it would be Cameron Thomas. This small school kid looks good. Really like him.

I like that Dickerson and Mailata worked so much together. That chemistry can go a long way. That’s the kind of stuff I want to grow.

LOL he will play to some degree his rookie year even if it's only a few garbage time snaps(Ojabo will)

Projection

While the upside is limitless, and the pass rush skills are off the charts, teams may struggle jumping on Ojabo early, given his recent injury and his need to develop more especially in the run game. That being said, pass rushers are a premium position in the NFL, and it would be hard to see Ojabo fall much further than just outside of the first round.

Projection: 2nd Round                             I'll take him. It's not like we're 2 players away from a SB here

IDK just shows there is ZERO confidence in our staff developing or Howie drafting LB's. HOWIE- GO HIRE SOME DAMN STAFF TALENT. Ridiculous BS. Welp I can move my LB in round 2 out now lol

https://thedraftnetwork.com/articles/devante-parker-three-trade-destinations-colts-eagles-browns-               2022 give up a 5th. This would give us the alternative possession guy. We can lose Jjaw which has always been fine by me. We could then put a WR on the back burner in the draft,or let one just fall in our laps instead of making a play for one. I like that kid from SMU as a WIP and we can get him very late. Stine would be thrilled with NO WR drafted high. Parker comes with some injury concerns and if we got him what do you do with pascal now? LOL. But he's a guy that can climb the ladder for Hurts less than stellar passes. I would give a 5th no more

BTW getting Parker and moving WR to round 2 and taking Watson would make sense as he can learn the ;adder climbing techniques from Parker lol. Watson will need a year of polish anyway,so doing  this would make some sense from a planning ahead perspective

So if I am trading back a round 1,    I would target Ojabo (late 1 early 2) and Watson (early -mid 2) DT,CB,S now come more into play early and I think DT and S are now at the forefront if we traded back. What y'all thinking if we got Parker?

As far as Ojabo,we picked up this guy named Mailata and sat on him a few years. Why can't we do this with Ojabo? I'm not planning for a SB run this year, so why not get the best talent you can and let the coaches do their jobs? If I trade back I will take him and Watson with pick 3 and 4(assuming we get Parker now)

Mailata was a seventh round pick. Your talking about doing it with a first round pick.
