Hill was negotiating with KC. There wouldn’t have been a whole negotiation thing if that was the case.

No clue,we are not privvy to the details the agent is. Sometimes it's that "other" stuff that gets in the way

Thinking Pitts moves up for a QB.They would want our 15 I'm sure. IDK if id' do that. Would give us 18 and 20+ but further away from the "stud zone"

So who is it at 15 we’d be missing out on that won’t be around at 20? You’ve lived and breathed draft prep since week three. So I’m honestly just asking your opinion here.

IMO Olave,we would risk him going to NO. Lots of guys could be gone in that 5 spot area. Johnson,Davis etc. actually its not 5 it's 3 we still have 18,but could be 2 nice guys that go 16,17 if Pitts uses the 15 on a QB

I’d think almost universally most everybody prefers South Beach to KC. So that is always a factor. Of coarse at 30 mil you have plenty of houses and fast transportation….so those factors should be minimal. Think the whole TB12 in Miami is still a looming factor here. I’m convinced it would have happened and was planned out this season. Got blown up by the lawsuit. So I’m going to assume it just is postponed until next year.

I think Brady wants partial ownership in Miami, or at least a top FO position even if he plays there or not

Did you read why he wanted to be traded? It was not about money. He does not want to be used as a RB in addition to a WR. He wants only to be a WR and is not happy with how SF used him. Apparently he is worried about his longevity of his career.....

I would be too....but you take him out of RB and to me it lowers his value big time.

I’m all caught in all the BS smokescreens it feels like. Feels like all these guys will be gone before 15 anyway. I’ve been really contemplating we trade up with 15 to get our stud. Not sure it’s a set locked in guy. Just whomever falls to 11 or wherever Rosie has figured out a workable price. I’m hoping it’s a Dillard and 15 for 11 type move. Then we move back with 18 to stock our day two chances.

He had a whole tweet about if it isn’t 25 mil we aren’t interested…so let’s not go overboard that it isn’t about the money. Definitely wants to get paid being a second rounder that’s First Team All Pro.

Yeah... it's funny how 2nd rounders don't want to go into the last year of their deal without getting paid.   Wonder who was in our conversation about that exact same thing lately???

But Rosie identified something with the Saints. Maybe they just made the first of other moves to get their QB. But I also think he might have a real good bead on what they’re up to pick wise. So we still pick right ahead of them to beat them to the punch without losing OUR guy.

Yeah we really don't know. I'm with you there, but SOMEONE has to be there at 15-20. Just depends IMO who is GONE.If we made that trade with Pitts,I think that would be on draft day not a pre draft deal

I think that was all BS to force TB hand. Just a way to circumvent the rules and force a workable trade once the season was underway. Really well thought out at that.

I think the top 10-12 are pretty well set. Some think we are stalling on Honey Badge because we think Hamilton will be there,so trading back would put that at risk also

I would agree Ham, if our "guy" makes it to10-12 area. I definitely feel it would be worth it. If not, I do not think anyone between 18-32 is all that far apart in terms of talent. So if a QB or two is taken before we pick at 15, we may make a move upward. We may stand pat also if they feel it is worth it.

Makes no sense. You let Adams go that formed the best tandem in NFL history with ARod so you can get Deebo? Paying ARod forced their hand. They can’t do it.

They didn't " let " Adams go...he wanted to play with Carr in Vegas.   Those winters aren't for everyone and he wanted to play with his boy.  Probably thinking Rodgers has limited time left in GB too.

You seem to always miss that the players have some control in these situations.  That's why the draft is key,the team controls... except for 2 times since 1981 with Elway and Eli.

You assume Deebo would want to come here...it's a huge assumption

Brady always liked south beach. They used to beat the Fins there every year by 3. I think they did that 5 years in a row. Miami much more lucrative area than TB and lord knows he can afford a house on south beach lol. South beach is only 4 miles long in case you didnt know lol

We could trade Shew also

We don't have the offense to support this kind of star power

That "Other Stuff" could be the ongoing domestic abuse saga.

Hard to tell but it was never really put to bed.

Not for us I wouldn’t think. We don’t need him as a RB. Siri seems to love the screen game. So we could throw him plenty behind the line and utilize him that way. I’m not sure if I’m buying the RB complaint from him anyway. Sure RBs have the shortest career. So that part is a factor. But if we pay you 25 mil…..you’d better be a team guy that will do anything to win. Once in awhile at RB is way different than as much as SF was doing though. Feels like he’s using whatever reason to get out of town to me though. The RB/WR issue if I was his agent is a great smokescreen. Nobody will destroy him over that. Smart stuff. True/real….or not.

Being in the music biz, there are lots of contract details that can make or break contracts. Like Aerosmith wants 20 pounds of M&M's every concert, but the brown ones must be removed. SO IDK about NFL contracts but I know that trival stuff, like musicians can get in the way I assume

Yep, that’s obvious game changing money. A First Team All Pro has particular leverage and gripe though. Don’t think his agent wouldn’t even let him play that contract out.

yeh that's what I mean, there are many factors involved. It's not just a cut and dry money issue

You are his agent...you saw how he got the crap beat out of him in the playoffs... you see the $$$ at WR.  Wouldn't you want him to avoid playing RB ???

We don't have the QB to support spending that kind of money on Deebo. Why would he want to play with  run first QB? His stat lines would tank

I believe these GMs do prep for the event though. Think they maybe feel out others to figure out who is more willing to trade or not. Figure out rough pricing in case. I believe they have these light theoretical conversations with each other. And sometimes they keep it real close to the vest and give no indications. Like I’d say that Rosie has even talked with the Lions to see what range the price would be to move all the way up there. Doesn’t mean your doing it….just means your educating yourself to make the best decision under fire.

Yeah...1st team all pro WR...asking 25 mil.    Wonder what the 15th best QB would get?  Probably a little more.  That's been the point.  When the perceived value is 25-30 mill....or more... and you make 2nd round $$$.  That becomes an issue.

Unless you want the intangible guy to suck it up and not stand up for himself.  " yes sir, no sir"   you think that would work with perception with the NFLPA.
