I believe these GMs do prep for the event though. Think they maybe feel out others to figure out who is more willing to trade or not. Figure out rough pricing in case. I believe they have these light theoretical conversations with each other. And sometimes they keep it real close to the vest and give no indications. Like I’d say that Rosie has even talked with the Lions to see what range the price would be to move all the way up there. Doesn’t mean your doing it….just means your educating yourself to make the best decision under fire.

I'm sure they have conversations, like "OK we'll do this if you leave our guy alone". I would think the Wuss will also want another WR for McLaurin(who I feel is very under rated)

Should be a fun chaotic draft as all these teams vie for positioning. I think it's alot more than usual

Idk... it's a real stretch to think GMs are actually doing work in the 20 months leading up to the draft...lol.  of course they talk and get some ideas of trades etc.

Yeah we really don't know. I'm with you there, but SOMEONE has to be there at 15-20. Just depends IMO who is GONE.If we made that trade with Pitts,I think that would be on draft day not a pre draft deal

Williams is the guy I’ve been thinking. Think Wilson, London and Olave are going before 15. But not sure Williams falls to 20. Dline are the other guys the move could really effect. But having 18 really makes it much easier. Because like you said, if Pitt. Is going for a QB….then we wouldn’t miss out on much. Steelers have been lined up as our dream trade scenario the whole time it’s felt to me. It feels realistic as well.

I think D line is pretty deep. The main fall offs IMO are at DB. IDk if we can get honey badger I would not count on Hamilton being around

The 2 edge we have the most interest in are karlaftis and malone just going by visitation info. DT-Wyatt and winfrey

Pitts could probably stay at 20 and get Ridder. We will know in 8 days

I have many doubts about him, I would rather have Burks

Would be sweet if we could get a 2nd rounder next year for moving back 2 spots.

If I had to guess...we don't pick 15th.   Simply because I see it as vintage Howie...to not pick 15, 16 or 19...any of the original spots.   Just feels right doesn't it!

Howie will be moving around alot. My fear is he can't pick the correct players to "sacrifice" for as evidenced my the fail link I posted. if he muffs this, his 3 year renewal contract will look like a bad move. Up,down,no matter just get the RIGHT guys which is the major issue for this team

As far as Cap Space goes, I prefer we spend on Positions that are hard to fill as opposed to one where there are numerous options. That being Said, I would never pay a WR FA 20 mil or more. Why soend so much of your cap space on a position where there are so many other options?  Miami will never be a contender the way they spend their cash. Oakland has a solid team and is only a few players away from contending. I can see them doing that deal for a shot, but if it backfires, they will be in Cap H#ll

We used to do a contest where everyone picks 10 College Prospects they feel the Eagles may draft. Then, you get points for each one correct. 1- for first round, 2 points for 2nd round, 3 for 3rd etc.....

I do not have the time to run it as I work full time and am executor of a will I am in the middle of. Does anyone want to do the deed? Should be fun with so many possible picks this year.....

Not going to break the bank/trade picks for Deebo. Seems like a me guy, doesn't want to run out of the backfield or block. I still like Dotson as the so called top WR's will be gone. Best hands in the draft, can score from anywhere, great short or long - pretty important w/ the inacurate Hurts

The more I review the Rankings, the more I feel the Eagles go DT and/or CB in the first round. They have 15 WR's listed in the top 75 and almost that many Edge rushers. I understand that there won't be Elite WR's/DE's available after 15, but DT and CB are not that abundant. To get enough players to help this team, the FO needs to be smart where they pick which position. I read allot of reports that from 17-45 the prospects are fairly close, so no real advantage other than what position you are looking for. Just my take.....

IDK when we took a CB in round 1 last. Not Howie's style, but I know we are liking Booth,so maybe that changes now. We will know in a week

https://www.draftdive.com/perrion-winfrey-scouting-report/ This kid sounds like a great fit in a 3 tech D scheme. He should be available in round 2 and I seriously like Nick Cross at S. He should go in round 3

I feel that Howie is approaching the draft differently this year. Just a hunch that he was seen his mistakes the past few years and may just do a better job of trusting what his scouts have relayed to the team. He should have just about every scenario thought out and be prepared should he be able to deal a pick for a later 1/2 and a 2023 1/2...

I may be way off base, but I think every position is being looked at for once including your WR's. They must have the top 150 well layed out as they have 5 picks in the first 101....

  I like Cross also....

If we made the trade with Pitts our 15 for their 20,52 and 138(or put this pick off until 2023) that would leave us with 18,20 in round 1 and although there is a bit of risk I see the 2 guys we want still there. Olave OR Burks at 18 and Booth at 20. So making that trade I have Olave/Burks, Booth in 1. Then Winfrey in round 2 plus another 2 pick(52) and Cross as our first 3 pick. Now we need to get Pitts on board LOL. The extra 2 pick would certainly help us take an edge choice(my guy Bonitto fits perfectly right here lol)

Moving the 138 pick off until 2023 would offset the 7 point trade chart differential and allow them that pick this year while securing the added pick we need this year

If Pitts bites that would give us(my picks only lol)  Olave/Burks, Booth, Winfrey, Bonitto and Cross as our first 5. I like it and still have the 101 pick where you can still find a value player

I will throw out my wish list next week. Let's see if either of us gets any right!  LOL Probably not...
