First 3 drives in the playoffs...ran it 5 times, passed 5 times.   That's a perfect mix, should be enough for your QB to handle!

It was a comedy of errors(but not funny). Hurts missing guys, not seeing all the receivers(etc),then when he DOES finally deliver the ball the receivers drop them. That's a terrific mix and the way it should be. Now get me more consistent players

Then all you guys know [Eagles vice president of team security/chief security officer] Dom [DiSandro], and there’s nobody better in the National Football League than Dom DiSandro about getting to the bottom of guys and figuring out guys and talking to guys and understanding who are risks and who are fits for this team. He knows our team backwards and forwards. He knows the players that fit for our culture, for our team, and our city.

SO, when is he bringing them in? Was this the guy that forced Ped and Wentz out because he could not bring in the needed personnel?

OK, This is for Security, not for ability to play the game. He looks into their back round to see if there is a potential flag. That is the meaning of "Knowing" the Players.... You need to look at scouting department for that....

Dom is a big part of weeding through the BS. He’s not a talent or athleticism evaluator. He figures out what’s really going on with these kids to help find their true character. Very important part of things. The intangibles….some don’t think important. But it really is very key.

It’s not just timing a guy running….that most seem solely focused on. Still a big part of the personnel evaluation.

I can look up police records and contact previous coaches. Every team has this guy

Yeah... but Dom got us all those intangibles at QB. Those intangibles from Jalen Reagor,  Andre Dillard, Nelson Agholor,  Derek Barnett, Marcus Smith...etc.    It's a huge part of the phenomenal culture here.

When my grandson was being recruited several coaches mysteriously appeared in his small town cafe and started asking questions about him.

Mor than ever character is a big deal. No one wants to wind up with an AB walking off the field in the middle of a game.

Well, you cannot blame him for drafting those players Joe. He did not do a talent evaluation on them....Just being fair.

Sure, but every team has these people,it's not like we are the only ones

We all understand we have a certain low bar that needs to be met. We aren't the Dullaz prison team, but you know especially linemen and LB's and S's you need a little "attitude". Nice guys finish last. Give me a few players that dominate. Doesn't mean they need to be jerks, but I like a little on field attitude

Yes, colleges do the same thing.   It's important...  AFTER the talent part.

This is such an oversimplification of the value of a guy like Dom I’d have no idea where to even begin to explain to you.

Exactly. Many different areas to consider is what the clowns miss. Many guys in Dillard’s shoes(losing his job to a seventh round pick while being a guest himself) would stop working or caring about the team that made him a backup. Dillard looks fine to me at LT by the way. So he’s not good at RT…..big deal. Barnett has been far from a fan favorite. Guy keeps plugging and even came back. He hasn’t played up to expectations….but I respect that it’s not because he doesn’t put in work. I don’t see a bunch of guys getting arrested. Really see guys that are working hard. Very good environment for the whole team to improve.

How successful have ALL these other guys been? ….that I don’t care about. Feels like Dom is doing a good job to me. Scouts is the area I question.

Being aggressive and hungry player is totally different. Weapon X is a great guy. Borderline Freddie Kruger on the field though.

Are you even doing it if a guy doesn’t have talent?

He just said every team has a guy.  Obviously we know it's important if every team has this???
