How successful have ALL these other guys been? ….that I don’t care about. Feels like Dom is doing a good job to me. Scouts is the area I question.

Well across the league... which teams have had more success.   Since 2008, there have been 2 seasons that the Eagles have won playoff games.  Since year 1 of Chip... one year where they won double digit games.

It is what it is.   Talent is paramount...congrats to Dom though.

He just said every team has a guy.  Obviously we know it's important if every team has this???

He said he could do the job. That’s what I quoted.

Talent is essential. Talent that goes on a raping rampage of the city….not great. Guys that are super talented that don’t care about football…..plenty don’t work out. I never said you don’t need talent. I never said just draft a bunch of good guys that don’t play football. I just believe that high character guys that love football tend to reach their ceilings. How often does a guy that puts everything into his work not rise up higher than his floor? I also have seen in many environments that guys clowning around don’t make the same progress as guys very focused on improving. The work environment to me is a big key. I sure would love all future Hall of Famers. Be great to just be stacked with that kind of talent. I’m under the impression that isn’t happening though. So I need the whole team to work hard, accept coaching and get better…together. Then I can have guys be very serviceable like Edwards at LB. He’s not a first round pick. You get all the guys that aren’t the most elite athletes on the same page and playing well and you have a core to work with. Add elite playmakers then we can make some noise. Think we gotta get everybody there to be successful.

I agree about congrats to Dom. Think he does a good job.

Are you even doing it if a guy doesn’t have talent?

If the guy doesn't have talent colleges aren't going to be looking at him anyway

Exactly. On any level.

UH, a little different transitioning from HS/college to college/pros don't you think?

IDK do you know the other 31 guys that do this?

https://www.nfl.com/news/alabama-wr-jameson-williams-says-he-s-ahead-of-schedule-in-acl-rehab-hopes-to-be  IDK seems like a risk still IMO. The fact he couldn't break into the duo at OSU makes me feel he is behind those guys in this draft. I would not hate the pick, but nobody knows if he will be 100% even when he recovers.of course the player will say he will be ready, that keeps his draft stock up. I hope the med team has done their work on this one

The Bama WR is gaining a ton of buzz for us. Welp GBFL beat me to it lol.

Red flags to me, but if chosen, I hope they know what they're doing. That's alot of risk/reward for a 15 pick and Howie seems risk averse unless it's a real steal, which this would not be but who knows what Howie will do

Yet then you could easily argue he busted out ahead of both this season.

I don’t see it as Williams now gaining anything. Think he did it during the season. He just really launched into the biggest playmaker on the scene.

2 years prior he didn't do much being stuck behind the other 2,so really you only have 1 year to look at. So I don't see how they have Olave ranked AFTER him when he couldn't take Olave's job away. Doesn't make sense to me and while what he did was fairly impressive, the only other guy was Metchie who is a round 2 guy. Anyway,if they take him,I hope they know what they are doing

I could easily see Williams being ranked ahead of both after this season…..without the injury situation.

I'm thinking olave may go higher and Howie wont move for him,so we are stuck with Williams, which isn't a bad consolation prize IF he's ready to go. You can heal and come back, but will it be 199%. We have seen comeback where the players were never the same. That's a huge risk with pick1

Why when he couldn't beat out either guy at OSU? He had to transfer to play

He's better than Reagor, which is the goal here and it would make sense if we are going after his QB next year. The chemistry is already there,so from that aspect it would make sense

But then when he did play he was the best WR in the country

Because the guy opposite him(Metchie) wasn't as good,so he got more attention

https://www.espn.com/college-football/stats/player/_/view/offense/stat/receiving/table/receiving/sort/receivingYards/dir/desc    Not all these are in the draft, but you an see why we have show alot of interest in Skyy Moore. The guy at the top goes next year. 1900 yards is amazing. Not a great league he is in and he's tiny 5'9" lol

https://www.espn.com/college-football/player/_/id/4430191/skyy-moore   So maybe Stine gets his wish and we go WR IN ROUND 2. he still almost put up 1300 yards. He just seems TOO SMALL for the NFL

Time for some Z's

I know we met alot with Pitre, but this guy would work. Love how he attacks. If we trade back and this guy is in late 1,I would take him. Pretty surprised we never had him in

Thinking we move up a little from 15. Move back from 18 trading with Green Bay, our 18 for their 28 and 92. This would give them a shot at a decent WR and us an additional pick to fill one of the many holes we have

Thinking Williams will be there at 15. Can we move back sone and still get Wyatt or Karlaftis?
