Then you get poor value

But still a round 1 draft grade or he wouldn't be on your BB at all. he is the 16th best player out of the 32 offered you have on your round 1 board

Put it all together and you make your draft decisions.

Right, so whether studs or NOT you have 32 players you would take in round 1. If you want more PICKS,then you trade that away, but you STILL had a round 1 draft grade on him even at pick 32

Can you not see that Hutchinson isn’t nearly the player of Burrow? Both could be taken number one in their respective draft classes. But their rating of level of player is not the same.

SO last years SB winner still has a guy they would take with pick 32

Right, because the CLASS was different

You cannot compare previous draft classes, you can only rank what's in front of you

So say the class is SO awful noone rates a round 1 grade? What do you do then cancel the draft?

Right, because the CLASS was different

But rating the quality of player has nothing to do with class. It’s a rating based on how good a player you’ll become. Same rating system every year regardless of whom else is in each class.

Simple 32 guys will betaken in round 1,god,bad,ugly or whatever, therefore teams ranked them as the 32 best players IN THIS draft

Send me a link to this rating system please

I want to trade back. Exactly. You absolutely compare players to every player that’s ever played.

Fact remains there are 32 "best picks" in every draft rating system or not(that is what BPA is)

So no round 1 picks for us if there are only 10 players with round 1 grades? Ok then. lets get real value and trade them all for round 7's,because "noone is good enough"

Once again all other teams think the same so WHO would trade with you? what you WANT to do has no bearing on anything. Someone has to take player 16 no?

What if you rank 50 guys as second round level readiness and potential? Sone might go at the end of the first. 32 go in the second. Then you still have guys go in the third round round rated similarly. You use this system and decide where would you want to be. By rating players as an individual(not based on anybody else in this one particular class) where do you want to make draft moves and position yourself? Can you not see the difference and importance of this?

Send me the rating system that is "the same every year"(I'll wait)

Exactly what we are hearing this year. So many teams want to trade back. All the picks will be made. Does everybody get their optimal value? I think not.

Nope, your "system" compares every player IN THIS DRAFT to every other player IN THIS DRAFT because that is what is AVAILABLE

So after 10-12 every team will just trade back because there is no player worth taking at 16,but someone will take him and player 32 also. In the end 32 players will be taken in round 1,system or no system

I don't care about Bosa,he is NOT in this draft

IDK what 32 teams think, noone else does either including the Eagles FO

It absolutely exists and is what scouts do. They rate players way before they start comparing them between their draft class mates. This rating starts before they even become draft eligible frankly. You can’t just start scouting and compare a guy to everybody else in his class. How would you even do that? Once you rate each player…..then you can start with the other factors your speaking  of….like ranking him amongst his class overall and positionally. You don’t just start rating this guy number one pick and such. You come up with tons of long hard work on each individual over a long period of time. Come up with his rating of readiness and potential in the league.

You are talking about different stuff. Rate them as an individual first. Only then do you start comparing them to the rest of their draft class.

YAY now you understand! Thanks 😁 So as I said they are rated 1-32

Now if you pick at 32 it may be a guy who cant help your team,at that point you make a decision, but if guy 32 is there, you select him

They are rated for NFL readiness and potential based on how good a player they are. Totally different thing than drawing up your Big Board. Sorry you can’t understand the differences…but I tried really hard to explain what was being talked about to you.

1-32,so there are 32 players with a round 1 draft grade because thats ALL you have to choose from.Last year was last year

Nobody said you don’t have to pick. But there is so much more to the evaluation and decision making.

Right 1--32(and so on)
