I have no clue. I guess it depends on the GM. Some may think he is a legit Top 15 prospect. Another may not feel he is worth a first round pick.... This is not cut and dry. Every Team's board will be different. Maybe most will have the first 8-10 picks as the same players.....

Felt like Williams ascended to being the top WR prospect right before injury. Karlaftis was considered a top ten prospect before…..I don’t know….nothing else has really taken place. So what makes you go from 7th rated prospect to 28 well after the combine has been considered.

I get that the Georgia guys ascended at the combine. So Davis and Walker moving ahead of Karlaftis because of the measurable event. I can see that.

Johnson in there also.

The Greek Freak looks like a very strong versatile pass rusher to me.

So I think Williams is a legit top 15 pick. But I also feel him being injured pushes him out of the top tier.

I just am not real excited about too many of these guys as superstars. If Hamilton Wilson, Sauce or Thibs slide to ten or later that would interest me.

Idk if we need the superstars ... it would be nice to get 3 solid above average players out of the first 2 days though.  Plus some functional guys later on.

I do crave some elite playmakers. But I’m with you on if we can pull three quality guys the first two days.

The serviceable pieces acquired later on would be helpful for sure.

I mean that would be great but as things stand that would require Howie to hit on both firsts and our second. Ok he may trade down and acquire an additional second (unlikely I think) to give him another stab at it.

Irks me we delayed our progress by giving up our third first rounder. Trading that out for a third round pick this year surely undercuts this year’s team. Feel like we just need a few new blood added to win our division this year. Having a home playoff game gives you dreams of actually winning a playoff game. Would be a great start for the new regime to give them legitimacy.

Deebo it feels like almost certainly gets traded during the first round. Why would SF play their hand early at this point? There is also Jimmy G. Does he get traded tomorrow also? Really could change the Niners footprint on this draft.

How is that delaying progress? We got an extra first next year in the event we need a QB. Nice to see "planning ahead" when there are a few decent QB's coming next draft
