Sleeper QB IMO.I'll UDFA him as a camp arm for now.He really only played 1 year and lit up the senior bowl doing it(transfer from BC). He CAN run but a pass first type like Russel Wilson. he could be a good one in time

Yeah….there you go. That’s all I was trying to explain. What you were saying wasn’t wrong….just a totally different subject.

This was Bleacher report ratings. They still had 32 with 8.0 grades or above in round 1

Had this kid in/out of my mocks. I would not be upset if we spent a pick on him. Good blocking skills too

If I want Davis,I move up, then trade back the 18 to 34 in round 2(plus whatever else we can get) and take Pickens, who we also like. So that seems to me to be the choices Howie needs to make Olave/Wyatt or Davis/Pickens. I think the bigger impact would be made with the first set although we would get more/higher additional picks with the second set

Could move up for Stingley/Hamilton and trade back for Karlaftis/Dean Pick up Metchie day two.

1) Don't see Howie taking a CB with his first pick 2) I am not sold on Hamilton that high, maybe Howie is,but I think that would be a WHIFF/reach bad option IMO

Think you guys are just living in the grass is always greener in the future mode. Doubt we are in a better range for an elite drafting of a QB next year. If anything we do like the SB champs the last two years have done and trade for the vet.

Who wax the guy worthy of moving up this year?   So if there are a few...then obviously just for that fact, we will be in better position to move up.   If not, they can pull a similar trade again and keep getting more picks.

No Mas why not just draft Strong in the third this year? He has a huge arm.

Like Ben Simmons can jump high and run?  Athletic ability... not basketball talent...  I'm assuming Strong doesn't have the QB talent or else he would be a 1st rounder?

Who? I haven't a clue. Do have a feeling though that 1st pick (wherever, do they stand with current pick?) will be a DL

Ham, I'm curious....if a lineman can bench press and squat a huge amount of weight....is that what you consider " talent"    it seems that way regarding a Ben Simmons and just a QB that can throw far?

DT edge or WR for me. I feel these are the first 3 in any order although I know we like Malone(round 3 also)

GOnna be a fun draft with alot of teams moving(or trying to)

I can see that and a WR with the 2nd 1 pick(even if we move back)

I believe Detroit has pick 32 and 34, a move from 18 to there still gives us a shot at decent enough players. Pickens would probably be there as well as a nice CB pick. Davis/Johnson,Pickens,Elam as the first 3 would suit me fine. Maybe Pitre at S at 51

Gotta do your own research here man. You trying to short change the conversation. He’s the big armed kid that isn’t a runner. Had some injury.

Look into this kid Davis the DT from Georgia that sone including FL really like(enough to trade up for). Huge kid. Tall and big. Blew it away at the combine with his athleticism.

Yeah I REALLY like Davis,I'm sure other teams do too. Wyatt is also a fit if we miss getting him(3 tech) I feel he(Davis) could be the pro bowl type to replace Cox. And who better to learn from?

Yet with all his athleticism and size he doesn’t get off quick on the snap and didn’t get into the backfield enough. Actually took him off the field on passing downs. That’s a concern. I love to see guys perform during the measurable events….but prefer game tape showing it. Haven’t seen it very much with him for some reason.

Definitely wouldn’t draft a guy at fifteen to just be a run player. Trading up goes without saying.

But does he have football talent?  She'd blockers, make tackles, read plays etc?

A lot of guys can run fast .. talent is different for say a WR,DB , an outfielder in baseball etc.   The skill of the position is the talent that ultimately will matter.

Why don’t you actually do a bit of your own groundwork and decide. Instead of always being the hindsight answer. Why don’t you tell us….if the guy has the skill for the position.

He tests great. Is huge. But came off the field on passing downs.

Hamilton the S played like possibly the best player in this draft. Didn’t run well though in the measurable events. Where you take him at?

I’m seeing Simmons as scoring 16 points per game with 8 rebounds and 8 assists. That’s basketball talent to me. Not All Star level for sure. Doing that at the highest level is solid production.

There was this guy that was undersized. But he was quick, handle the ball and pass. Great leadership and intangibles. But couldn’t shoot very well. That guy was Steve Nash. Hall of Famer.

Poor build. Very skinny and narrow. Ended the '99 season weighing 195 pounds and still looks like a rail at 211. Looks a little frail and lacks great physical stature and strength. Can get pushed down more easily than you'd like. Lacks mobility and ability to avoid the rush. Lacks a really strong arm. Can't drive the ball down the field and does not throw a really tight spiral. System-type player who can get exposed if he must ad-lib and do things on his own.
