But you never told me which CB/S near pro bowler you wanted in their place

I like Pitre or Brisker at S(at 51) CB would have to wait until 83

McCreary at CB if we did that at 51

So we trade pick 51 for a veteran that's had success for 3 years...one pro bowl.     You wouldn't like it?

I also like Woolen and Taylot-Britt

Who would that be,you still haven't answered me

I'm happy though, everyone is satisfied with paying 25 milllion for 100 more yards a year. I personally don't like it

You know AJ Brown going to cost us under 4m against the cap this season right

But we will see this Burks in Tennessee.   See how he does...as far as #s and attention he draws.   I'll keep an eye out.   I'm not worried about it, because the big picture is no excuse for the QB now.

We still are paying 25 million for 100 yards a year and with Hurts he may not make that even

Devante Smith in 2022 is set to cost us 4.5m against the cap…. So at least for 2022 Smith is the more expensive WR

But we aren't paying him 25 million either

Honestly only care about the cap figures and his cap hit won’t be 25m. Because the cap is what effects who we can sign

I know but it's 25 million for 100 yards a year(with Hurts who knows?) and that is not worth it to me

So we will see if he is worth it,my gut tell me he is not, plus we gave up picks to boot

Time will tell

Brown  under 4 mil...Smith over 4.5 mil... so if Brown gets 1200 yards, Smith should get 1350.

But yet the point... the extension won't kick in until later... where our favorite QB might no longer be the guy throwing him the ball.    Then if that's the case and we draft a rookie QB in 2023...that guy comes cheap for a few years.

Let's focus on getting talent in here and worry about money later.    The money issues don't come from paying good players...it comes from paying bad players.

I'm doubting Brown gets 1200 yards, thats my point. A bit over 1k yards when Smith put up only 100 yards less as a rookie

So we paid out 25 million and draft picks for 100 yards a year? Whatever. will never make sense to me

So you are telling me you understand the money aspect and cap hit 100%.   You confident you understand it better than myself and BG?  To where if we say it's not $25 million.

And you simply won't take into context the offense that Brown..  3 years in the league and made pro bowl year 2... because you simply look at yards?

Only yards...not the coverage he draws,  TDs, blocking etc.   You only pay for yards, that's it?

Didn't know this. Our defensive line coach Tracey Rocker recruited Davis out of high school to Georgia.

As I said Burks would draw the same coverage and we would have saved draft picks which you seem not to grasp

Who cares about the yards?   It's the effect on the total offense that matters.  Stop it,you know better than this statistics obsessed generation... you know stats don't tell the whole story..let alone yards only.

Burks would have done the same

Well if Burks guaranteed to draw #1 WR...pro bowl level covetage..coverage. then all those pro bowlers at WR are going to be rookies this year.  You saying 5 rookie WRs will make pro bowl this year?

Why did he drop...guaranteed probowler shouldn't drop to 18 and be the 5th at his position to get drafted?

Teams needed other positions more,it's not rocket science LOL. So you are guaranteeing Brown makes the pro bowl this year? I cant wait to see this!!!

Its the same stuff every year....the rookie will be the guaranteed stud.   Every year.   All the research and effort...of course you think that way.  The tram has an asset with each draft pick... it's not a necessity to use every pick on a rookie.  They can be dealt for vets.

I'm excited that brown makes the pro bowl,he's a shoe in

You like the deal,I don't, simple as that

Have a nice night I'm out
