Not nearly as great as the SB speech. Bought the "Nobody likes us and we don't give a damn" t-shirt

I have that shirt also LOL. I still wear it to the dismay of Panther fans HAHAHA(piss on you).

Seems the fans who didn't like spending the money on Brown would have been very happy if we'd spent more money on the older FA WR's, curious.

I wasn't a fan of an FA WR AT THIS POINT. I wanted to see the Hurts improvement FIRST. But we signed him for 4 years not 1,so we have committed to Brown, now Hurts has to prove himself or he goes away

As of now we have 51,83,154 and 237. I was a bit excited we had so many picks we could use. I hope Brown was worth losing them.

Despite this post,I will add that Ham and 93 made a good point, that 3 years from now, this may be a "cheap" acquisition. I hope it is. Onward we go into day 2 and Howie CANNOT whiff these next 2 picks

Starts at 7 PM although we won't pick for awhile. I'm thinking CB/S or S/;CB,but we could use both. I feel S is more pressing,we shall see

It's already a cheaper contract than other FA WR signings and Brown is younger

https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/free-agents/all/secondary/available/   Here are the available secondary FA's(S and CB's)  Honey badger still on the market

IDk what the "others" stats are. Brown maxed out at 1065 yards . I didn't stat the TD's. Maybe the "others" put up better stats? We also know that guys like Hill and Deebo can be used in the running game,Brown can't

There was a hybrid CB/S I was looking at last week but can't remember. Heck, until my 2nd coffee can't remember squat

LMAO I'm 1/2 way through cup 1,the brain is still fuzzy, but I'm doing my best. yeah I agree and posted this position is changing like TE did. Hybrids seems to be the players to covet

I know we have talked extensively to Pitre(S) from Baylor and I'm sure we know Brisker(S-Penn)as well

Also(I can't say this but maybe you can) that Riddick can fall back into coverage? I am more an offense guy and some also can say I am offensive LOL

https://www.nflmockdraftdatabase.com/big-boards/2022/consensus-big-board-2022?pos=S   At S-Pitre-Jones(different rounds) I feel Jones is the last S that could be usable for us. I really like Cross from Maryland as well if we went CB at 51. We may look at edge also,so IDK what Howie thinks

No,we DON't know this. Hurts is not a passing QB,unless he seriously changed. Many times a player "stinks up the joint" making a team transfer. At least Hurts has worked with Brown and I hope he doesn't become the "one read" that leaves Smith out of play. We shall see how Hurts performs. He now needs to pass the ball better for this to be a good deal. As Joe said,if he can't we have our QB decision next year,so on that point I can understand this move. It has forced Hurts to play his position and it will become obvious if we are going to pay him big buck or find his replacement. ON to day 2 lol

GB, This is the case for whomever the Eagles get at WR. The difference is we KNPW that AJ Brown can play in the NFL. We DO NOT know if Burks can.

Called due diligence. Sure draft picks are risks, but so are transferred players  because your team is different just like from college to pros. It's a done deal and I'm not gonna change it,so on we go,but you got your wish of NOT drafting a WR lol

Joe thinks it may be LB. I'm not as confident but like 58 and I say, maybe there is a hybrid out there. With Riddick and White(only a 1 year) I think LB will be ignored, but who knows

GB, we lost pick 101 plus the 1st rounder. So 1 extra pick. You are making it like we gave up the farm.....

I think DE may be the next pick. Not sure who is out there but this is a big need and the Eagles like the line

Nope 18, 101,124,162 and 166,

Was just going to post Pitre, Cross and Brisker, Bonitto at edge.

Has Kelce stated this is definitely his last yr? If so we're sorely hurting there.

You are over thinking this. Very rare a player traded does not play as well for the new team. I can argue that traded players more often play better for their new team

I hope so, we committed to 4 years LOL. How did the "dream team" work out?
