We need DE,S and CB but we only have 2 picks, one will have to wait until pick 154,so hopefully that pick will be someone who can rise up after some time polishing and we have Riddick who can pass rush,so I think DE is the one we'll have to hold off on IMO

Nope 18, 101,124,162 and 166,

Not because of Brown!  The other three were due to the Davis Trade!

Four year 100 mil is the MAX. We got him cheap in this market. Be worth it if we guaranteed all of it. But we didn’t remotely do that.

I heard on the radio....Brown is costing less than Christian Kirk

BTW we talked extensively to Malone, but he would have to be a pick we made today at edge. Maybe you and Joe are right

So out of the 3 spots, edge,S,CB which one is the least pressing?

If it were me, I would go Edge, S then CB or LB in that order..... We are so thin at safety now, we cannot afford to leave it be.... Problem is if there is anyone available when they pick. I do not want them to "Reach"

There's also Andrew Booth Jr, CB, Clemson. Sounds like we'd have to move up for him.

Every yr there are those who want a lot of players. Sometimes I think it may be better to trade the numbers to move up and get fewer players who seem to have more upside.

I know - TB12 went in the 6th.

Considering the Titans rely more on the run is why i said Brown will need to have a better season statistically.

Not really against the trade it just seems to be a wash

Wow...a wash for the 5th WR off the board vs a pro bowl WR?   A lot of you all really love your college guys.   Saturday vs Sunday is like 2 different planets.

Yep,I posted that. Castro-Fields would be a nice snag if we can get him. much potential but will need groomed and I would be happy with that pick that late

Not for Brown

Those lower picks were to move up for Davis

I know we like booth.Would have to give up the other 3. I think he goes early 2.IDK if we can make that lift without giving up- some next year, which is fine if we think he is worth it

Would Burks have? I’m a fan of Hurts. But I feel the need to point out the difference in getting a known commodity than a draft pick. For one, I feel we are getting more proven quality consistent routes with Brown over Burks. That consistency should be good for the young QB. Getting a proven commodity over a question mark puts the spotlight on what the QB is doing more. With Burks the QB could be struggling and you could say Burks is just a bust. If Brown and Smitty stay healthy Hurts doesn’t have the massive excuse of his passing not being great because of a poor WR room anymore. Brown brings knowledge and experience to make Quez and Smitty better. Burks from what I gather just kind of wings it with athleticism. What about Siri? Think this puts legit pressure on him not having the excuses also. We got a guy that’s young and can be here a long time. We should all like that. He brings legitimacy to judge our QB and HC.

I knew as i was reading...there is going to be something where it will be someone other than Hurts who could be the issue.   Lol.

proven WR but they gave up a 3rd and a wad of cash. We'll see how it turns out.

As i said before i'm not against the trade but there are legitimate questions about someone who i read was a "disgruntled" WR.

Why was he disgruntled?

Strange thought out of a strange mind. Davis can play between the tackles, could he fill in occasionally at LB this yr?

Why we may go S,edge. I have Pitre in at 51 and we talked alot to malone(edge) so he could be the 83 choice IDK

Call HR and tell him GB. We know there will most likely be some more surprises today

He's damn fast,so could be. He could also slide out to DE as a bull pass rusher on say 3rd and long from the outside. he has the athletics to do that too

I know we have talked with honey badger lol. Of course many teams have

We talked to malone and Alex Wright at edge which may mean nothing at all lol

LOL surprises from Howie?

I would go Pitre,Malone and Castro-Fields if I had to do it

But I know Ham wants that PUNTER! LOL

So it wasn't such a strange idea. What better way to learn Cox's moves than by playing with him. Plus I'd love to hear what's going theu the QB and RB's heads, would make their O 1 dimensional as well. All we need now is to shut down the other half of the field

LOL yeah I posted that. I said they need to take Thib at 5 because we had pick 6 and take neal at 7. I asked if they were smart enough to do this since technically neal was the choice at 5. But knowing we didn't need a T at 6,they made the smart decision and took Thib off our board and got Neal at 7. You can look back to see where I said this exact thing. Not so dumb as some make me out to be LOL

Didn't Carolina take an OT at 6?   So why wasn't Neal the pick at 6 ?

I wasn't a fan of an FA WR AT THIS POINT. I wanted to see the Hurts improvement FIRST. But we signed him for 4 years not 1,so we have committed to Brown, now Hurts has to prove himself or he goes away

For all offseason you grasped the concept of getting WR for the next QB...now you need to see Hurts improve first?

BTW...stay tuned for why it's not even close to $25 mil a year.  I won't give anything until I see all the info first.  But I will put you at ease..   for now, Christian Kirk was paid more.

As of now we have 51,83,154 and 237. I was a bit excited we had so many picks we could use. I hope Brown was worth losing them.

I tell you what.... do some mock UDFA stuff for this year.   Focus on that group,  will be a great project for you... and it's similar because it's all day 3 pickups except for the team isn't on the hook for any $$.
