Biggest thing by far to be concerned about.  Nothing comes in at a close 2nd....nothing.

I like your point that either way,and I assume we go QB shopping next year,is that both Brown and Smith are locked in and how Brown performs,or impacts this team will help us know which Qb to go after and how they play their game. We also have to consider that getting Gainwell last year adds to the passing attack as a RB. Plus we have Goedert and I hope another TE can step up for the 2 TE sets

And by the way...

There were absolutely people making excuses for Hurts using Smith bring a rookie.  Absolutely!  And adding another rookie gives those MANY people the same excuse.   If Brown and Hurts don't mix... nobody can blame the WR...and if they do...oh well ,we are committed to the WR and  so the QB needs to go.   Like I said....zero excuse now.  Even Ham just has Siri. That's it.

Now,what to do with Reagor, jjaw (et al). Any guesses there??? I think Ward still stays as a BU. If Jjaw can make the move to TE,that would be NICE. Jury is out there

The inverse of what happened with Wentz

IDK how(but once again how they arrived at that opinion is their own) with Smith getting 900+ yards with a run first QB. I think smith did very well considering that

I was never a Reagor or Jjaw fan. perhaps Jjaw can make the move. I hope he can and I won't judge him at that spot until I see,so I am fine with him staying if he can help this team as a TE. We know he is a decent blocker and we initially got him for his block out ability on pass plays. So I hope he can put that all together

Will be interesting for me to see Ped in Panther country.

Because people find an excuse for their guy. We are in Philly.  You know the politics.   Any excuse.   It was legit too.

Now, a physical veteran...proven to play at elite level.   Nobody can make that excuse. As great as you may think or as Burks may be... doesn't matter, there is the rookie excuse that would be there if the results aren't good.   There would be a " share" of the blame.   No share this way.  Be happy about it.  Like I said...I respect your opinions and your emphasis every year on the current draft, because you pretty much do the research like a job.   But I'm looking bigger picture... Hurts Hurts Hurts and Hurts....either he is the man or we start to look for one.  Either way it's what speeds up the process to being a contender the most!

Agreed, but also remember there were ACTUAL excuses for Hurts due to dropped passes by "veterans" ( Reagor and Quez) so I hope that that STOPS,then it's all on Hurts

I'm not very good at trade values, probably why I tend to emphasize the draft. SO Joe,for you who is on the trade block and what can we get for them? I'm very bad at that stuff

Still some nice WR's left, that has to hurt Reagors value if he is on the block

Reagor's been taking a beating by the pundits so not much value right now imo

I was right on Davis, didn't think we'd have to move up that far for him. Rumours were Ravens wanted him

Chad Muma, LB, Wyoming

Rated #2 LB left

CB is probably a bigger need though

Yeah he is best in coverage(see the article I posted)

I had Davis at 1 for a LONG time, then I wimped out LOL

Yeah, read a bit about Muma as well, just don't think it's feasible at 53. We have "bodies" at LB and like I said earlier it would be interesting to slide Davis in there occasionally, all putting the focus on secondary and edge

Welp my picks are nowhere close to theirs lol(no shock). With the white signing(we can still re sign him later) and Riddick,I feel the LB need will have to wait(yet again)

Dillard and Sanders would be my guesses.   Dillard maybe next year 2nd rounder..  this year maybe 3rd.   But my guess would be 4th this year, 3rd next.

Sanders... should be a little less value than that. Maybe same with the right team.  But good chance neither gets traded unless they get the higher value

That what I see also. I had Pitre ranked over Brisker, but BR thinks Brisker is better at S. If we can snag a round 4 somewhere that would be helpful

Interesting you are ready to move on from Sanders. Can you tell me why you think this?

A 4th would be helpful,of course another 3rd would be better, but I would take the 4th(and plead the 5th HAHA)

How do you feel about Barnett. I was never a fan,he is ok not the star we wanted, but he seems serviceable, stay or go?

Sanders is I'm final year of contract.

For me, like Ham already assumes all QBs can throw....I assume all RBs can run through a hole.  I'm looking for the aspects that would make me want to pay him.

1. Can he stay healthy enough to carry the load?

2. Does he offer anything special in route running or good hands

3.  Can he pass block.

For me Sanders doesn't bring any of those. I would think he has value because a couple teams might think he is all that.   My guess is we let him play out this year and then he gets paid by another team next year.

Personally,I like the committee approach.  Seems to work better for Superbowl winning teams since say... Terrell Davis like 25 years ago.  I like Sanders as one of 3 guys, but nothing special IMO.  We didn't lose a beat with him out last year.   But he may have value, same with Dillard...Reagor I would think has no value, so we keep him and see what happens.

There should be a plethora of RB.s to pick up in 7 or as UDFA's. That position really took a beating this year

If we traded a player for a 4th or 5th, I'd use that to move up in the 2nd or 3rd. I remember Casserly and others saying the odds of a players' impact in the NFL drop by 15% / rd. Sure there are outliers but this stuck with me.
