Would have kept Jenkins moved Maddox to McLeod spot(let him go).... Leblac in the Slot could have split with NRC... Personally I liked Douglas thought he got a bad rap doing well in Carolina it seems

Yeah, McLeod has been somewhat a non-factor this year. I didn't notice him once in the Rams game. I am not sure that Maddox would do a better job there, but I doubt he would be worse. The one thing I do like in our defense is that when guys guy in motion, they bring a safety down and drop a corner deep, so having a FS with corner experience would be a plus in our defense, which Maddox has. He's also a really good tackler for his size, which has come in handy with all the receptions he's given up.

I thought Maddox was at his best when we had him filling in for McLeod his rookie season

He doesn’t have to really come up and tackle like Jenkins did as a box S just had to be secure enough as a last line

We better not SUCK this game!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I agree. I can't fault the Eagles for trying him at outside corner, but I would rather see him as a free safety if he doesn't turn things around.

I want a commanding win this team needs a confidence boost doesn’t have to be a blow out W.... But win all 3 phases take and keep the lead even if we win 24-17

I may have to fly up,pick up you and Joe so we can go to Novacare and kick some arse.I think it will be a high scoring fiasco, because both teams are less than stellar on D.You SHOULD kick some fantasy arse with Sanders tomorrow.40-34 Birds(if we don't come out flat and play 28 minutes out of 60)

I can live with that as long as we play a full 60 minutes lol

Hahahahahahhaha we haven’t beaten the Bengals in 20 years apparently granted we only play them what every 4 years but still damn 20 years

Cox expected to play today. Not sure how wise this is, and I hope he's not risking further injury.

New medical staff got faith in them until they show me I should not.... These are the situations to show what they got though guys playing to soon coming back from injury just to re-injure  the Same spot etc.

So far they seem to be decent Miles came back from hammy fine and Reagor shoulder.

Would expect to see more Hargrave though even with Cox playing(I’d probably try and limit him some still) but Cox being on the field is great news for the rest of the guys if he is out there he will demand the attention of the OL.

My biggest worry was how would Malik do if he is the guy teams are focusing on huge difference from 1 on 1 vs being doubled

I’m really iffy today on my flex in FF.... Have Singletary vs Rams poor run D or Josh Kelley vs Panthers poor run D.... Optimg right now for Singletary since he shouldn’t be splitting reps since Moss out.

This also going to be my last week trusting Wentz in my one league put up or shut up time for Wentz lmao need him to put up some fantasy points lol

Apparently Reagor will be out for a while. I am kind of surprised that they didn't put him on IR. Caplan is saying six weeks.

Ford is out for a while as well.

I guess it isn't a huge deal since they can call up guys, and with Alshon getting close the receiver position isn't a huge deal.

The inactives will probably be Reagor, Ford, Jeffery, Opeta, Sudfeld, Avery/Toohill and Huntley (or Clement.)

I heard Nov. Reagor could return my guess is the Eagles think he could return sooner or at least has a chance to

With the new IR rules, it would have seemed like an easy decision to put both him and Ford on the list. But I guess they may be thinking that they will get James and Jeffery back soon, and those guys will just take the roster spots of anyone they promote.

Some things I will be watching today (outside of how Carson does.)

Is Barnett going to show signs of life? He needs to start playing like a first rounder instead of at a level where he is worse than Sweat and barely better than Avery/Toohill.

Who is the WR2? Someone needs to win this job. JJAW/Hightower/Ward/Burnett. One of them has to show something to earn more snaps over the other three.

Any changes at LB/slot corner/3rd safety? Mixon and Boyd are their most dangerous weapons. So they match up well against our biggest weakness (if Slay plays outside on Green/Higgins.) Even though the Bengals aren't a good team, today should be a good test for this group, and it will be interesting to see if we make any changes in personnel.

I heard 4-6 weeks for Reagors injury but if the Eagles believe he can get k to practice in 2 weeks maybe playing by week 3 or 4 I could see we didn’t put him on IR.. Now if we thought yea easily gone for 4 weeks yea not sure why we did t put him on IR...

Ford I don’t think we need 6 S to begin with but oh well

Expecting JJaw to get the most reps this week whether he should or not will be seen

Ford is a special teams gunner, so they need someone to play that role, which is now apparently Arnold. He may also get some looks at third safety, as Epps was bad and Wallace hasn't earned any playing time as of yet. If Arnold has been looking good in practice, I could see them putting him in there.

Standing by we didn’t need 6 S think it was a wasted roster spot especially since we had Parks returning in 4 weeks thought we could have easily given Wallace some reps... Should have been a battle of Ford vs Epps for the final spot

Honestly likely could have ended up stashing one on PS

Adam Caplan on his pregame show just said something interesting about JJAW in that he has to start winning within the first 10 yards because he isn't going to win over the remainder of the route.

He made the point that JJAW isn't an elite athlete, but he has the potential to use his size and strength to create a win right away, and he hasn't done that so far. He compared him to Jeffery who does have the ability to win right away, and said he has to become that kind of receiver or he's never going to find any kind of success.

Sudfeld inactive. Toohill inactive and Avery up. Brown also inactive with Opeta up, which is apparently due to him still learning the offense.

John Ross inactive for the bengals.

JJAW apparently hurt in warmups.

And now he's back out and warming up. So don't jump off any buildings yet!
