Problem with Press and Groh is they have no real say they can’t really push Doug like Riech could.... We need an experienced coordinator

QB  footwork, mechanics and decision processing....which coach is responsible for this? Press is the QB coach. He’s the passing game coordinator. Is Press getting the best out of Carson? I don’t think playcalling is that bad. I have questioned a few specific plays. But I see guys that are open and Wentz isthrowing interceptions into the coverage. I don’t blame Pedey’s play when there are good to great options but the QB doesn’t throw it there or just flat out blows the thRow.

We have Scags and Marty. But the issue seems more to revolve around Press being buddy buddy with Wentz. Carson looks awful.

I am hoping the team is at the point where it starts giving young players a shot. On defense, Bradley and Taylor at LB certainly can't be worse than what we have now. Wallace should be getting some reps at SS. We have gotten killed by slot receivers the last two games. I am not sure how LeBlanc played, but the third string slot corner is on our practice squad in Elijah Riley, so maybe call him up? Avery and Toohill have been useless, so maybe Ostman gets a shot?

On offense, Peters gave up three sacks, so why not Mailata? Watkins is eligible to come off IR. If he is healthy, why not?

We are at the point where a playoff run is a laughable notion at best, so we might as well look at this season as a chance to see what we have in some of the younger players.

1/2 game out of first place in the division. Bam! Haha.

And you know this HOW? "They have no real say”.....means you are in the team meetings...

LeBlanc is a baller. Cant believe the Eagles put him up for sale for even one day. I didn't say perfect, I said he is a baller. Tons of effort! They put a very small DE in the game...58 or 53. Dude got MAULED! Not going to work. Front 4 played very well. Offense was bad again. Wentz has to get his mojo back. He is bad this year and it doesn't make sense. The overthrows, the underthrows, the forcing the ball into coverage, the inaccuracy. Those were NOT things to describe him before this year. It looks bad to the fans, so it must be even worse for the coaches. And thank goodness for Kelce recovering Wentz’ bad fumble or Wentz never even gets a chance to throw that TD pass. Just bad everywhere. BAD!

Who is in Dougs ear keeping him honest like Reich???? Doug has come out and said him and Reich would go at it talk gameplans I don’t see that in our coach... It’s well let’s pass and everyone agrees that’s a problem

I fully on board removing Press as the QB coach not a fan of the buddy approx they have I need someone lighting into Wentz...  Bit the O has more issues then that

I love LeBlanc and I hope he played well. But Boyd killed us out of the slot, so we will have to see how he played.

The DE is Avery. He and Toohill don't fit our system. They are OLBs in a 3-4. We need bigger guys who can collapse the pocket and let our DTs get home. Ostman needs to get called up.

It should also be noted that with even decent QB play we are 3-0 right now and cruising to the playoffs.

LOL the WR's aren't shaking the coverage.it's not that the coverage is stellar,it's that they aren't doing ZIP to get open(or lack the skills)

Hard to consistently run out of the backfield with squigglies the way the team is right now and we can't run Sanders all the time. Get some big backs we'd have a chance. Every time I see Boston Scott get stacked up at the LOS, my stomache churns just a little more.

We need an O line that can open holes.Even a basher back will get stood up before he gets a head of steam if everyone and their brother is in our backfield

Maybe...just maybe Carson taking it in on his legs to tie things up gets the teams confidence back in him. Otherwise Wentz is playing like the worst QB in the league. Groh was the fall guy for the offenses failures. But clearly he wasn’t the problem. Groh is a good up and coming coach. We put the keys in Press Taylor’s hands. He obviously isn’t Near ready For that responsibility. We put him in a position to be Wentz’s buddy and apologist. Everything looks bad with our QB. Mechanics, decision making....just terrible. I’m ready to start the fire Taylor movement amongst us fans. Nothing will get Carson’s attention like seeing that his buddy got fired because of his play. Totally unacceptable! Most things I’m looking at scream that Press is doing a terrible job. Get the team, and especially the franchise QBs, attention. Fire Press!

I think there are enough people on here saying we should fire all the coaches and cut all the players.

Sure, this really sucks. But you have to win like a man and lose like a man. Or tie like a man in this case.

This year looks like a wasted season. But that doesn't mean all 53 guys on the roster need to go. Now I think the discussion can shift to who needs to play and who needs to be benched to make this team better.

Well first you need real men on your team. Wentz has DIGRESSED.Last year was a pass-lack of weaponry. So we got him weapons and those can't stay on the field. It's an exercise in futility. Sanders is a potential stud but we can't give him an Oline to save our bacon.Djax lasted 1.5 games-impressive for him,now he needs more "days off". Reagor? AWOL.if we can't keep our top players playing why get them?.The entire med staff and conditioning staff need replaced ALL OF THEM from the gatorade person on up

Whomever wins this lame division could probably win it being 6-10 LMFAO(pathetic)

My boy JJ is breaking out,but we have Reagor YAY!!!!!!(pffffft)

With Goedert out, I wonder how we will look if we go primarily to a 3wr offense as opposed to a 12 personnel team.

As far as I can tell, our offense next week will be Ward in the slot, Hightower at the Z (I doubt Jackson plays) and Burnett (I guess) at the X, at least until Jeffery gets back. I can't see JJAW getting very many snaps and I don't see the point in playing Rodgers very much.

Wentz played his best when our offense was Jeffery, Agholor and Smith with Ertz at the TE. Ward is much more reliable than Agholor and Hightower at least offers the deep threat that Smith did. Burnett is obviously a lot different than Jeffery, but he is only a stand-in until Jeffery is healthy anyway. Once Reagor gets back, he can play the Z, and should give us good production from that spot. if Hightower is playing well, he can move to the slot.

Maybe it will help to get an offense that he feels more comfortable running. Right now it seems like we just throw into a mush pile in the middle of the field on every down, and it might help to open things up.

SF sucks,so we should only lose to them by 17

IDK our usual go to Ertz was AWOL.I don't feel Wentz is comfortable with anyone,or right now, if anyone is comfortable with Wentz. There is no chemistry,no timing because we keep shifting players around. Not gonna work.if we were consistent and lost to a better team you would hear nothing from me,but this is as pathetic as it gets 4 years removed from a SB.When you bonehead your way to to a tie in a winnable game, things need to be shaken up

Playing with Fanspeak again lol. They have us picking 24th,which right now seems overly generous of them.At the rate we are going I suspect a top 12 pick anyway

Picking at 24? There's literally zero chance of that happening.

Snap counts are out.

https://www.bleedinggreennation.com/2020/9/28/21459543/eagles-vs-bengals-snap-counts-jj-arcega-whiteside-wide-receiver-miles-sanders-john-hightower-ward

On offense it looks like we were in 11 and 12 personnel at about a 60-40 split. Ward and Hightower got the majority of the WR snaps, and Ertz played pretty much the whole game. Burnett had 40 percent of the snaps, about the same as Rodgers. It's hard to say what the future looks like. I thought we moved the ball okay but not great against a bad defense. Wentz missed some throws but we should have marched all over these guys even with the injuries.

Looking down the road, Ward seems to be a competent slot and Reagor seems fine at the X. The questions I have are Is Hightower a legit Z and can Burnett be a competent backup? I am hoping Watkins can play this year to see what they have in him. JJAW remains a black hole.

On defense, they effectively benched Riley, which is a good first step. We gave up around 200 yards rushing to the Rams and under 50 yards yesterday. The only real big play we gave up to a running back was the screen to Bernard on third and long, and I doubt Edwards was on the field for that.

Leblanc was ahead of NRC, but we got killed by Boyd. I have to see film to see how that happened. I don't know if Schwartz has the stones to bench Gerry, but I think he has to at this point. We have a decent rotation at DT but at DE we clearly are lacking a fourth guy with Curry out. I am hoping Ostman gets a shot. Williams was much better than Maddox, so I hope he is starting next game. We looked a lot better after Maddox was injured.
