No not unexpected but Eagles have a tendency to stick with guys to long. Trying to make the pick make sense like it wasn’t just a bad pick.

So just seeing Reagor down with the 2s not trying to force him as the 3rd WR is nice to see

This is unique though. Regardless of where Reagor was drafted... the fact the following 2 years they invested a higher 1st along with a 3rd for guys at his position pretty much tells us they know it's a bad pick.    Idk if I can recall 3 years in a row where a 1st round pick was used on the same position?  Then investing an additional 3rd rounder years 2 and 3 on top???

Idk if there can be more admission of a mistake than that?

Seemed like they went about 7 out of 10 years drafting DL first though for a while there.  Corey Simon all the way to Cox.   McDougle, Patterson, Buckley, Laws, Abiamiri, Graham....all in there as first picks, not necessarily first round.

Doesn’t really matter what Hurts is or isn’t right now he is the guy either going to play his way into a big contract extension next year or we are moving on.

Positive note Saints looking more and more likely they will suck so top pick for us either for a player to help the newly extended Hurts or to go get a new QB.

What happened with the Saints? I thought they’ve been getting hopeful news especially with their WRs.

Wonder if the Eagles should look for a player for player swap for Reagor take a flier on another under achieving draft pick of another team. Guy like Ferrell maybe of the Raiders???? Could be some other options out there open for suggestions lol

maybe a change of scenery could help both players.

Seems plenty logical to me.

What was Tampa's strategy ...they took away the escape to the right. They didn't even respect his vision enough to cover half the field.   If you don't think it's an issue,  we can disagree.

Press Smitty. Blitz heavy. Stack the box against the run.

Have two huge guys inside to really clog the inside rushing attack

And prevent Hurts going right... which is what their LB said both after the regular season game and the playoff game.

Not like how they tried to just move the other major mistake at the position to TE.

Not looking too great for your ideal QB Strong….most think he doesn’t even look ready to be a third stringer yet. But he has a strong arm.

Agreed....but that move is worth a try.  Less of an investment ( similar to the RB who was taken a few pics earlier, who will get his last shot while on the cheap) ... plus JJAW gives a little on ST.

The Reagor investment was much more.

To you converting our WR taken in the same round to the fifth string TE is equal to our starting RB? That’s very interesting take. Obviously I don’t see the two remotely the same.

IDK bro,how many ":starting RB's" scored ZERO TD's last year? No matter what he did last year, that sticks out pretty BADLY. So for me although he is our "star"(ok Joe see the quotes?????) RB,you are only as good as your last season. He has mucho to prove this year. The thing about resting on your laurels is eventually you get a thorn up your butt. He needs to show us he is our top RB. Hurts ball hogged him at the GL. I hope Hurts has grown up enough to rely on the other players we invested in. I think he has to due to(as Joe said) Tampa getting his goat. Every other team will watch that vid for game planning vs us. Now whether or not that GL ball hogging was on Siris play calls or Hurts audible and /or running a college offense, it needs to be fixed

I definitely didn’t say Sanders doesn’t have plenty to prove. The divide between him and JJAW was the discussion. Bag on Sanders all you want….he was a much better pick than our Wr turned fifth string TE….hands down. Comparing the two was embarrassing talk that just showed the pure hater No Mas is towards certain players.

Looks like Deebo is getting set to sign a 3 year extension. Sounds annually close to AJ’s contract. I bet a huge guarantee is in it.

You have a problem with Hurts scoring now?

Oh I agree he was a better pick. That being said it seems like RB's are super expendable these days unless you are racking up elite stats, which with the RBBC we play is highly unlikely. Still we can have decent RB's,pay them a decent wage without breaking the bank. RBBC is a nice way to go because we aren't relying on ONE guy to carry your team

I am if he is playing hero ball and hogging it all.l We're paying a number of players to perform, which they CANNOT do if Hurts is hogging all the scoring chances. If he is going to do that, why are we paying Sanders????(or will). I believe this is the growth/maturation the FO needs to see. Signing Scott was a smart move. Once again Hurts needs to let Sanders show us why he needs to remain an Eagle. Like I said IDK if those were all Siri play calls or Hurts just ball hogging because they are option plays

Yes... they were picked right after each other... if you pay attention to what other people say, clearly I stated the investment was the same " a few pics earlier "   as compared to Reagor being 1st round.

Come on Sanders is elite...lol.   One more year of the QB / RB combo that people have theirs heads up their culos about...then we can move on to better to go with the OL, WR and TE that are clearly good NFL units.

Maybe your discussion ... my point was the investment of the draft pick was the same for both guys..  sometimes there isn't anything between the lines to read...and things are as simple as they sound.

Compared to Reagor being 1st round.

Sanders drafted with pick 53 ..... JJAW drafted with pick 57.

HATER HATER HATER HATER.

The TE coaching has been, ok I will say it, phenominal. We take non top picks(supposedly with more talent) and make them into top league TE's. This has happened OVER and OVER again. We trade them away, but really we don't miss them because the next man up is ready to roll. Just a marvelous job. IDK that they can bring Jjaw along enough to even be in any kind of running for a TE spot. Goedert was good behind Ertz. Goedert has taken Ertz's place,so we will see who emerges as the next nice TE behind Goedert. Everyone was miffed we traded Ertz off,but really with Goedert,do you miss him that much? We've always had decent TE's even if we never invested a high pick in1

Karama likely facing suspension, Thomas is starting on PUP list(this is after playing 7 games over the last two seasons) No guarantee Thomas is the same caliber WR he was in 2019, losing Karama to suspension could be a huge blow to that offense as well.

Not to mention Winston is the starting QB and Dennis Allen is the HC.

Kelce on Davis;

"I think that even just in the walkthroughs, the stuff I like, you can tell when a guy is in a walkthrough just by looking at his eyes whether he’s locked in or not, whether he’s focused, if he’s getting something out of it,” Kelce said. "Some guys go out there for a walkthrough and they’re going through the motions and that’s wasting time. What’s going on here? Even when he’s a head-up shade in a walkthrough, he’s sinking his hips right, he’s using his hands right.

"His eyes are wide. Whenever you see a guy who’s got bug’s eyes, his senses are on alert right? He’s taking everything in. That tells me that he’s willing to grow and he’s trying to improve his craft. Those are the guys, when you combine that with the physical skillset he has, it’s very good to see. But obviously we’ve only been here for two days so we’ll see how that evolves.”

Wow saying Watson will only have a 6 game suspension

Who was miffed when we traded Ertz? Goedert was already better than him ?????
