We're going to have to get creative, which Ped doesn't seem to do.But this could be a good thing. We need to find plays that work and we haven't been

Plays have been there Doug has called some good ones biggest thing is Wentz has to hit his targets. Will add if we want to keep trying end around a and stuff to WRs using Killins over Ward might be a better option

Looks like Killins is the PR.

My guess is again Ward will field them inside the 20 when we need a pair of sure hands like he has been doing

So more I’m looking at it can’t give Wentz a pass for a poor game this week because of hampered pass catching group.

he has his two favorite targets still Ward/Ertz

He has had limited off season and 3 games with Hightower to get in sync.

Had a whole season(last year) and 2 games now with Sanders.

Might be some miscues between him and the new guys that should be expected but he is also facing a hampered SF D all over and still has plenty of weapons to target

Yeah, you know the med staff only gets them AFTER the fact.SO stop them from getting there!!!!

Exactly! And yet the S&C team get off lightly.

The Oline would be a bigger reason for concern. It would be nice if we could get this group of guys doing well though. Mailata, Herbig and Pryor could all be good finds for our future....not just the present. Exactly what we need is three new Oline guys to step up.

Sure the OL could be the issue this week though 4 of the 5 started last week and they were not a major concern then so not expecting much difference this week. Honestly think Mailata will be just as good as JP(how he has been playing this year) if not better.

Herbig already seems to be showing he can be a capable starter good for our future prospects. Either become a switch G possibly even a starter depending on Kelce and the plans for his replacement(is it semaulo or the new kid Jurigia)

But point was I’m not faulting a Wentz weapons for his short comings if the OL is the fault then we will see that but if he has time and he is just missing that 100% on him

Bold predictions time!!!!!

Eagles win 28-13 tonight

Wentz throws a pair of Tds and NO INTERCEPTIONS

Miles Sanders rushes for over 100 yards gets 50+ through the air to go with a rushing and receiving TD

Killins makes a huge splash with a 50+ yard TD reception

Defense we force 3 turnovers pair of interceptions and a FF.

Yup overly optimistic but wouldn’t be bold predictions if I went with what everyone is already expecting

I think that’s one of the most exciting aspects of this season for us so far: developing young talent. Sanders had his first season just last year. Already feels like he’s a vet. Ward only got worked in at the end of last season yet he’s become a reliable part of the offense now. TJ Edwards, kind of quietly, got in a bunch of snaps his first season. Burnett I feel has shown he’s an NFL player. Pryor got in some high pressure play last season. Now he’s jumping in. Unleashing Herbig this year. This guy made an obvious statement last season to force his way on the team. This season he’s forcing his way on the field. Mailata’s been a long term project. Time for it to pay off. Sink or swim big fella. Him panning out could be life saving for Rosie’s job considering some of his questionable drafting. Questions surrounding Dillard really focus the point(main thing isn’t a question he’s just injured to be fair). Reagor already flashed. Hightower is developing. Watkins it appears is about ready to give it a go. I’d like to see Wallace get some opportunities as well.

Added bonus if we keep going south team then should also start the purge of older vets to keep giving young guys chances.... I’ve talked a ton on moving guys like Ertz, Graham, Malik etc. to A free cap and B to go younger easier to do when your losing

Or added bonus if our division keeps struggling and we get these young guys to actually win the division

They are talking about trying to ‘bubble’ teams for the playoffs. Brings up so many questions.

The NBA came up with a whole setup down in Orlando. Finished out the season and now LeBron is finishing up The Finals. I don’t see the NFL being able to converge on one Bubble City. So what would they be talking about? Not really sure what they can make happen. Seems to me if they can finish enough of a season to get the playoffs going...I wouldn’t mess with much. Flexible dating might be a change I’d be considering. The league already has shown this with the Cam Newton diagnosis. Being the playoffs though....I would consider prolonging the matchup a week. Play every game you can....but very specifically. So the playoffs could take twice as long.

Anyway things are about to get much more complicated on how to proceed. The league should of just maybe everybody have a bye week...week nine or something. Then they could have flexed any game that couldn’t(or shouldn’t) be played to there.

Somebody probably already mentioned it that Kittle will play for them. Debo Samuel is going to play also. And they have the big rookie receiver Aiyuck. All three are going to be a problem.

Niners activated LB Joe Walker off their PS. Didn’t we draft him years back?

Samuel isn't expected to play much since he has been out for a while. Slay should be able to handle the rookie. I like our matchup of Mills on Kittle.

We should be okay.

Cowboys are off to a rousing start. Our division is so horrible.

Dak is racking up the points in my one FF league still need Dallas to lose but love the FF points from Dak

well, great.

Lmao but Douglas wasn’t good he is to slow he can’t play CB....hmmmm always stuck my neck out for Douglas thought he should have been a starter for us....Also Schwartz scheme has to be a CBS nightmare no way everyone we have just magically got better when they left it’s how Schwartz has them playing

PS jsb know that wasn’t you but that what many I the board said about Douglas

I was always a Douglas fan. All they needed to do was give him safety help and he would have been a solid corner for us. We actually had great corners for a zone system in Mills and Douglas, and all we needed to do was play two deep safeties. But Schwartz refused to implement a scheme that matched his defense and instead tried to make Douglas and Mills into shut-down corners, which they were never going to be, and kept signing guys like Darby and drafting guys like Jones.
