Is there anyway Rosie doesn’t pick somebody up or make a last second trade here? With him he has to. The one thing he can’t do is not make a move. Doubt it will be anything huge….but I think he feels it shows he’s always churning the roster. Confidence is extremely high he does something….it’s Rosie…he can’t not not.

It likely to happen lot of teams shuffle around fringe guys on the rosters… still thinking we could see Minshew or Sinnett moved nothing crazy in return for either but seems like a logical move keep one was the primary backup Strong as the developmental 3rd QB 

WR guy like Ward or Reagor could be dealt. OL could see us moving another bottom of the roster guy like Pryor last year for a late pick of player swap. 
Only bigger name player I could see us dealing is Dillard who I think could legitimately start for another team at LT

Strong can’t be more than a PS player. He  completed one pass for six yards . Nowhere near 53 man level

He only threw 3 passes lol and we could say that about lot of the #3 QBs we have kept over the years but fact is we tend to keep 3 guys

Yea when they actually get to play generally the final preseason game… hard to do anything when you only get to attempt 3 passes lol dude came in with what like 10 mins left in the 4th qtr. had all of 2 drives…. One of which Huntley took 67 yards to the house on a rush.

But again really a moot point the only way I see Strong as the #3 QB is if we deal Sinnett it Minshew. Otherwise those two guys we take the spots.

Could argue little reason to even carry 3 QBs especially being able to call guys up from PS but not my decision can only go with the norm for the Eagles

You judge based on he only got three passing attempts. That’s not what you do for a guy trying to make the team. Honestly I think Sinnett is only PS material. Clearly way ahead of Strong. But nothing worth rostering.

Honestly makes More sense the eagles are not trying to look at him if they see him already as a developmental 3rd…. If he was fighting for a roster spot makes more sense to let the guy play more like a Sinnett to showcase himself to the team and the rest of the league it’s the general norm.

The real fact is the Eagles FO and  coaches probably holding what they seen throughout camp more then what they are seeing in preseason games. 
 

Preseason games are likely more to help showcase guys again that likely won’t make the team and help them land on another squad

even if we opt to not keep Sinnett or Steong my guess would be we end up claiming a QB off waivers to be our 3rd

Huntley made a quality case for his services. His ability to return should lock him in. He’s a threat to take it deep any play. How can you not want to get him a few touches a game?

Think we keep Sinnett on PS. Can always call him up.

Cain might have blown his chance. Think he has to accept PS. Ward is just that reliable guy that isn’t super tall or super fast but gets it done consistently. I think Ward is our fourth best WR….but not sure he makes the squad. Nobody every really chooses him or gives him a shot but every time he gets an opportunity he delivers. Quality backup I hope makes the team.

Calcatarra is a tough call. Only earned PS. But do you worry about him getting poached? Togai earned the third TE job if that was ever possible for him.

Haven’t even had that much practice. Especially real football type practicing. Kind of feels like 50 of the 53 was determined on paper. Think Sinnet had a chance but didn’t earn it. Huntley got a chance….thought he earned it. Brooks had a shot. The Oline think plenty of opportunity was there to earn a spot. Jack Anderson is Stout’s guy I think to be last guy on.

Which of Brown, Smith , Watkins or the former starting WR for the current Washington QB.... would Ward be better than?    Ward should have been a starter for Indy last year?

I mean they had a month of camp/ practice.   You can judge Strong on 3 passes, yet a month isn't enough for anyone else?    You see how guys prepare,watch film and interact with teammates and their position coaches throughout the process.     

My issue with some " expert fans "  it's always what they see that counts,so they put so much stock in preseason games .... lol.  A few reps vs all the practice reps during camp.   I just think that's silly.  

I would like to find a way to add an 4th RB, just don't trust 3 to stay healthy, esp w/ the longer season. Doesn't necessarily mean it's someone already here and can be on the PS if needed.

Sinnett hasn’t looked great. Doesn’t deserve a 53 man roster spot. So if Strong can’t earn some time against him as the competition what do you have? A guy that can’t earn opportunities against PS players isn’t going to do much for us No thanks…I’ll pass….if only Strong could.

We need a goaline short yardage guy to compliment the room. But….Huntley is a dangerous weapon. I’d like to get him a few touches a game. He’s that lethal that he can take it to the house in an instant.
