I actually lean towards dressing Huntley over Gainwell on gamedays. He does returns and can contribute a carry or two out of the backfield. Don’t know his capacity in pass blocking. That would elevate his value further.

Sinnett hasn’t looked great. Doesn’t deserve a 53 man roster spot. So if Strong can’t earn some time against him as the competition what do you have? A guy that can’t earn opportunities against PS players isn’t going to do much for us No thanks…I’ll pass….if only Strong could.

BG asked a question.... when have we only had 2 QBs on the roster?       Idk...dude asks a question to me, I would respond with an answer.

On this subject... how many teams have a 3rd QB that really " earned " a roster spot?

So...   from great a guy who wanted to not have Strong practice this year at all to heal the leg.

Now he makes fun or Strong's passing .. but is a Stan of the current QB who can't really pass?

Gainwell is not going to dress... lol.

The entertainment value with these posts are great.

I’ll answer that Siri is in his second year. I’m not labeling him on how Banner and AR did things. But I’m just saying what I’d do. Sinnett doesn’t really bring anything to the table. He knows our playbook is his only real value. We could get him back at any time is my thought. Even if another team picks him up….which feels like a long shot….we could trade something tiny to reaquire him. But I don’t see him winning games other than handing off…which we can get anybody to do.

Strong supposed strong suit was his throwing. His injury sounds like something that will never be right….why he wasn’t drafted. So he has to risk it and play on it. Not mobile and not throwing…what does he bring to the table? He’s your dream QB. All you ever say you needed while you bash Hurts for his shortcomings. Think it’s time for you to appreciate our QB1. Get on board  for our leader and team. Admit you were wrong. Admit the QB1 job comes with much much more than a strong arm.

I thought we have run with two QBs at times….but I can’t recall exactly every third stringer rostered.

No we really didn’t. We had another first round pick that would have filled another spot. We could have used future picks to add even more. But I don’t picture Gannon running the same D you do. I believe he covets versatile S that can play two high S looks. But rotate around out of that to disguise. So he needs S that can man up also. Pretty much thinking Vic Fangio style. We upped our LBs big time. You can’t go out all the time with a bunch of LB and only in the box S types. You just living in a completely different era of the NFL.

Welp he loves to hit people and he is BIG for a S(215) so the D we see may include more S blitzing,it's right up his alley. Especially useful in short yardge pass situations where team use bubble screens(say 3rd and 4)

Name of the game is put it all together for one season. Filling a hole in this year’s roster next year doesn’t do anything for this year. I’ve felt with new coaches and a youth movement in personnel the goal is to build something. Bring in fresh young players develop them together to have a new core to work with towards something. So I’m my mind we can’t develop future picks. They aren’t gelling together to build a sustainable units. Think we are doing a good job on converting to youth and a new team we can build from. But feel a rookie growing with that is more valuable than the future guys. Develop now together is where we are at. I just don’t want to delay the rebuild any more than has to be. So getting that starting S this year is much much more valuable and important than adding him in 2024.

I think Fangio could be the guy for us to take over at DC next season. Makes a ton of sense.

Why if the defense performs well THIS season. if it ain't broke don't fix it

Isn’t that exactly what we did to win our only SB? That was a great dream! Let’s do that again, yes please.

No we got a few players we needed,it wasn't a rebuild.

Strong can’t be more than a PS player. He  completed one pass for six yards . Nowhere near 53 man level

DUH it's ire season and he is SB#3. Not real pressing to get him time yet. he just got here for gods sake. I'm sure they are aware of his talent level or they would have drafted someone else

Brett Huntley got cut. He’d be a better option than Sinnet for us

If the D is great Gannon will likely be gone is my thinking. Fangio is about the biggest influence in the league right nowz

Right he wasn't drafted,so what is the problem???? Give him time to make an impact,HURTS is still needing to make that impact. Christ the kid just got to Philly and you want stardom in 3 months? please. he will work, improve like all rookies,no need to make a decision right now. What is the huge rush to lose him???? Id there a golden boy #3 out there????

Why would he be gone if the D is great??? This makes zero sense to anyone. yeah we got the D we want now so lets change the coaching LMAO. back to square 1? How long is Gannons contract?(you know that legal thing?).

I just think we should be able to find a young guy to perform at that level with much more upside and potential

yes very pressing finding QB#3 We should have paid 12 million to keep Suds

What? he wasn't drafted because of the leg. If that heals this is a HUGE STEAL!!!! why are you eager to get rid of him already? he has AMAZING potential and upside, you just need to wait until he can show it(healthy). he was a possible round 1 QB once

Can’t roster every guy on the planet. This team is growing and piss me off to carry dead weight. PS maybe. But he didn’t even earn that. All you wanted in a QB proved to really suck. Maybe time to acknowledge much more to the QB1 job than an arm. Rethink your logic here.

It’s roster cut time. This is exactly the time to make that decision.

He was a big interview for HC with a bad D last year. You don’t think if he improves he actually he gets a job somewhere?

Think they say it isn’t something to heal. So he just has to see if he can play on it and risk it because this is his best.

Ok my decision is I am keeping him until I know what I have.. Any sane coach would make that reco

who the hell are "they"? I seriously doubt if that was the case we would have gotten him in here. There is ZERO risk to see if he can heal up-ZERO

No that wasn't a rebuild we had alot of players. Picking up a few you need for a SB run is NOT a rebuild
