I'm interested in a Reagor trade it they can get a 5th round pick for him.

I want to see Hams take on the big picture... if we flip the same pick for Reagor and the safety from the Saints.

Addressing every position in the offseason and walking away with extra 1st next year and 2nd in 2024...  with depth on both lines and a lot of one year deals.

I'm trying to see what was missing compared to other teams in the league in regards to THIS year and helping the QB?

Hey Ham,this was my call. Why Tartt went away because they had their eye on someone else. I called it,I called it I called it!!!!!🤣🤣. Mixed role in NO,but with the CB's we have this is a nice upgrade at S. We have versatile LB's who can drop back or Gardner can play up or back. Looks to me like we want the squeeze play in short yardage defense. Should be pretty effective on those 3rd and 4 passes I would think

Tartt stinks….what you missed all along. It was a desperate pickup. Harris I didn’t ever want to bring back. They might bring him back though just using him to move somebody to IR.

Should have take the S in the draft-forget Davis, then there would be no need for the Gardner trade. Ham wants is all forgetting there are 31 other teams

See you post every available scenario and then you called it because one of those will happen lol

I think we will draft someone in the 2023 draft,I'm calling it right now

Guess they're not going to tell us the last 6 cuts

Weren't you the one who was harping on the dropped pass by Ward vs the Giants when everyone else was saying how horrible Hurts played?

Yep, was very tough moment in a tough game. Where media and light fans put everything on the QB. Can you think of another drop by Ward?

So which 6 got the ax?

Watch how dumb ... " but we gave away our 3rd first round pick" is going to sound later.   So focused on just the safety spot and investing big money or  1st, 2nd, and 3rd rounds into the position.   Big picture without emotion or focusing on just one position is a better approach.

I think we draft minimal 5 guts in 2023...  I am calling it.

I don't have any drops ... probably because I don't play much....similar to Ward.   The bar should be set higher... maybe he comes back later due to nobody wanting him.... who knows

TBH Howie filled more holes than I thought he could,so I will give him that credit. Plus he planned for more future picks. I see no downside to his actions. I loved Olave too. I had either him or Davis as my 1. I kept vascilating but those 2 were my mock first choices. IDK how Olave will do with Winston. he runs hot/cold(Winston does)

But AJ in place of Olave doesn't bother me a bit

JJAW cut by Seattle

So the trade with the Saints ...

Eagles get player plus 2025 7th

Give up 2023 5th, plus worst of their 2024 6ths.

Now the player is on his last year of rookie deal.

So basically instead of spending $ 19 mil, they get a hungry player for a 2023 5th.    The other 2 picks are a wash.

Now they could rent the player for 1 year, and probably actually make out via a comp pick if he doesn't resign.

Or they could resign him on their terms.

But it does support the " All in" for 2022 to see if Hurts is the guy.   All the one year deals without having the players locked in long term or just not cutting the old guys to save future cap space...

ALL THESE MOVES ARE ALL IN FOR HURTS IN 2022.

The stretch of all stretches. A CB we supposedly will give a shot at S is all about our QB1. You must even laugh to yourself when you try and come up with this BS.

II believe Tartt came in in the event we could get noone better. If the Gardner thing had not happened he would be "ok" in a situational role. But as I said if Tartt went away it's because they had someone else on the line,so very happy with that move. The Eagles D got even better with that one

Oh boy LOL.So you don't think moves on defense help your QB??? Really???? Like getting him on the field 1-2 extra sets of downs won't add to his stat line??? So yep all those moves were to give HURTS the best shot he will ever have

I think you are so much up Hurts butt, you lost your vision.

All in for a season you see teams do these things...

1. One year deals...

Which include,  getting outside players on the last year of their contract,  signing to 1 year deals, resigning your own guys to one year deals, and not letting older players go for another season.

The Eagles have done all that.. for THIS year.

#2.... they looked to fill all holes.    Look around the roster.

We needed a #1 WR... Brown

We needed #4 WR...Paschal

Needed LB... White, Dean

Needed pass rush...Redick, Graham and Barnett back

Needed upgrade to run D ... Davis

Needed #2 CB....Bradburry

Needed Safety... Just got him.

What is the excuse for Hurts and Sanders looking at the rest of the roster?

They went all in to keep and add to the roster so that there weren't any obvious weaknesses THIS YEAR!

https://www.teamrankings.com/nfl/stat/points-per-game  So I will harp on this yet again and say I want 1 extra TD per game now. 32 points per game IS DOABLE with this offense and a DEFENSE that will put the OFFENSE on the field more times per game. 32 is my goal(average) We have another EASY schedule. All on Hurts to give us those points. That is my personal bar and I'm not lowering it. Anything less with this schedule is a fail

Not all about stats... the idea of helping your QB be put in position to win.    Let's be honest,  other than Ham we all know there hasn't been a win vs  9 win or better team with their starting QB since October 2019.

The rest of us don't simply view that as a shot at Hurts, because he wasn't the only guy playing since then, but it's more of a shot at the organization.

Now they have a roster that can and should beat a quality team.   So it's putting Hurts in that position.... not just seeing in a close low scoring game vs the awful Giants.

Planet Ham is a moon of Uranus(sorry I couldn't resist)

Sure maybe I should have said "opportunities". The D will put the offense on the field more tomes per game. At least that seems to be the theory
