Planet Ham is a moon of Uranus(sorry I couldn't resist)

Sure maybe I should have said "opportunities". The D will put the offense on the field more tomes per game. At least that seems to be the theory

More importantly...   instead of looking to bear the Giants 14-10.... we assume Hurts will be in position to beat a good team. A playoff caliber team... with the score a little higher.

Ultimately that's what we need to find out this year.

Not all about stats... the idea of helping your QB be put in position to win.    Let's be honest,  other than Ham we all know there hasn't been a win vs  9 win or better team with their starting QB since October 2019.

The rest of us don't simply view that as a shot at Hurts, because he wasn't the only guy playing since then, but it's more of a shot at the organization.

Now they have a roster that can and should beat a quality team.   So it's putting Hurts in that position.... not just seeing in a close low scoring game vs the awful Giants.

My goal is 32 points per game. 30 would still but us in post season I believe, but once again it's not a hard schedule comparatively. I was told 1 TD more per game was impossible. I don't think it is. That is like scoring the same as last season but having Sanders score 1 TD per game-totally doable since he got ZERO last year-ZERO

Brown is on a 4 year if I recall, which is fine no matter WHOM the QB is next year

Hurts brought AJ here

Hurts suggested Brown come here. Howie and Lurie brought him here

So now he has his buddy here, there are no excuses NOT to score 1 more TD per game. Lets recall Sanders scored ZERO TD's and Brown is a definite upgrade over your boy Reagor,so you still say 7 more points a game is impossible? I'm not asking,I am demanding it if I am the Eagles FO. Hurts would really have to try very hard to fail

Before all the moves Howie made, I was thinking 10 wins, I am increasing that to 11. 12 is not out of the question

Eagles releasing Jack Anderson according to his agent Ken Sarnoff.

Several had him as one of the last few making them roster. He’s a favorite of Stout’s. But he should clear waivers and be able to return on the PS.

Sanders scores 1 TD per game you better draft him top 5 in fantasy.    I think best to not focus on stats.  Trust your eyes.   There was one game that was really in doubt last year... the Giants game because they couldn't put up any points.   The rest were us killing bad teams or decent teams killing us.

We need to see our team compete and win vs some decent teams and see how the QB plays in these situations.   I don't really care if he puts up 50 points vs the bad teams just to raise the " average" points per game.

This is where people were fooled by that year Vick had for us with the flag football group of Maclin and the Meshawns.

11 wins with 2 post season wins are my goal

I liked Calcaterra. Not sure more than Togiai. Apparently they did.

[3:42 PM ET] - Noah Togiai waived. Guessing he’ll be back on the practice squad for more TE depth. Roster unofficially down to 60 players. (Source: Mike Kaye)

He earned the TE3 job if roster spots could actually be earned in TC and PS. Means Calcatarra will be TE3.

I play Conquer Club that is based on Risk…with tons of different maps. They have differed good rule options also.

Conflict of nations is a 24 hour running game. It's not make a move and let it sit. If you do you will be destroyed. It takes up alot of your time if you want to win. It's like real war in real time. After you get kicked a few games you can move into the 4x speed(1 day is 6 hours)

[3:54 PM ET] - JaCoby Stevens waived. The transition from safety to linebacker hasn’t really been working out for him. Roster unofficially down to 59 players. (Source: Dave Zangaro)

Surprised it took that long with him.

I don't have any drops ... probably because I don't play much....similar to Ward.   The bar should be set higher... maybe he comes back later due to nobody wanting him.... who knows

He’s injured and can’t play…so nobody will pick him up…at least until he can suit up effectively.

Then he can come back after we trade Reagor.

TBH Howie filled more holes than I thought he could,so I will give him that credit. Plus he planned for more future picks. I see no downside to his actions. I loved Olave too. I had either him or Davis as my 1. I kept vascilating but those 2 were my mock first choices. IDK how Olave will do with Winston. he runs hot/cold(Winston does)

You loved Olave but loved Rosie’s trade that allowed the Saints to jump up and snag him?

II believe Tartt came in in the event we could get noone better. If the Gardner thing had not happened he would be "ok" in a situational role. But as I said if Tartt went away it's because they had someone else on the line,so very happy with that move. The Eagles D got even better with that one

Tartt was one of the first cuts

The real question is how many changes happen tomorrow when we can claim players off waivers and crap

Oh boy LOL.So you don't think moves on defense help your QB??? Really???? Like getting him on the field 1-2 extra sets of downs won't add to his stat line??? So yep all those moves were to give HURTS the best shot he will ever have

Yep….you, the media and all other casual fans believe everything is all about the QB.

I think you are so much up Hurts butt, you lost your vision.

All in for a season you see teams do these things...

1. One year deals...

Which include,  getting outside players on the last year of their contract,  signing to 1 year deals, resigning your own guys to one year deals, and not letting older players go for another season.

The Eagles have done all that.. for THIS year.

#2.... they looked to fill all holes.    Look around the roster.

We needed a #1 WR... Brown

We needed #4 WR...Paschal

Needed LB... White, Dean

Needed pass rush...Redick, Graham and Barnett back

Needed upgrade to run D ... Davis

Needed #2 CB....Bradburry

Needed Safety... Just got him.

What is the excuse for Hurts and Sanders looking at the rest of the roster?

They went all in to keep and add to the roster so that there weren't any obvious weaknesses THIS YEAR!

I can see your point with all this attention to the other side of the ball being all about Hurts….NOT
