I haven’t seen anything fixed yet. Let’s start by seeing it against the Lions….go from there.

I clearly stated Hurts hasn’t done enough yet. He’s a legit starter though.

Prove it,he MUST do that THIS YEAR. We gave him the complete tool box. He HAS to prove it or he is NOT getting a 5 year contract

That’s what I said

Your catching up FL. You just post my ideas as your own thoughts months later

Tartt was one of the first cuts

He was here what for 3 weeks???  He had barely unpacked LOL. Gardner was who they wanted. he may have stayed if we had failed to get him is my guess. But we don't know. IDK any guy who can learn a new system and perform in 3 weeks time. he was a last minute "well if we can't get our guy we need to do a CYA" Not hard to understand

Wallace, Sills and Jobe seemingly the last three to make roster.

Don't understand the argument. Of course this is a prove it yr, making everything else mute.

Exactly what I was saying last year when we were giving up record completion percentages to opposing QBs. So now you agree with my assessment…cool.

What "assessment" would that be??? More hindsight? How about a prediction for 2022? Do you think the defense additions will reduce the completion percentages over last years?

Rumour Tartt heading to San Fran

Thought Chachere brought more than Wallace. Togai brought more than Calcatarra. Doesn’t feel like any jobs could actually be won in TC. We’ve chipped down practices and PS sooo much that everything decided on paper now. Hopefully the plan is to bring back these two on the PS.

LMFAO, NO NO you stated "we have another year on Hurts contract" LMAO You're the one playing catch up

Sure, but theoretically you made the moves to improve the defense?? Or are they just jersey numbers?

Pretty much every season for every player in the league. Signed Wentz to the largest contract in team history and shipped him out right afterwards.

Adding Bradberry,Gardner,White did not improve the defense over last year? If not,WHY did you bother to make the moves?

Hopefully..,.if Gannon doesn’t play soooo soft. Which will aid the O….exactly what I was explaining last season.

So, you ready to sign Hurts to a 5 year deal tomorrow?

Why do you now acknowledge this as aiding the offense when before you just blamed the QB?

LMAO, did we give Schwartz anywhere near the players we got for Gannon? How can you not play soft with 2nd rate players? Is there a choice? Now we have better talent in and I suspect (or expect) and improved defense

This conversation is pointless. I’ve said I wasn’t ready to do that. He still has to prove it this season. Just to state ….again.

Questions 1) does a better defense help your offense(yes no will suffice). 2)Is adding a top tier WR going to help your QB(yes/no). 3) Do you in fact expect Hurts to do more than 1 read and run this year(yes/no) 4) if the offense stinks, that is now on the QB play(yes/no)

YAY,no bro,you consistently told Joe we had another year for him to prove himself (ask Joe if you want). But now the story changes

We can actually play man or zone at every position, 1st time in a while

Agreed. We didn't have the talent last year, the point Ham seems to be missing yet again. Slay got the help he needed

LBing should be better also(in theory)

58,we are(just were) on page 1958

And that's exactly why we couldn't do a lot of things - we didn't have the talent. Last yr if you took away Smith and Goedert, Hurts had to take off. Yes he was inaccurate at times, missed some reads which were not always his fault etc. Now all we can do is wait and see, so let it happen already. Just want it to start already.

The pint I missed because I was railing about this team going downhill since our SB victory. 2018 offseason I’ve been pointing this out. How last year’s team didn’t have much of a chance being so strapped with a dead cap. Not sure how I was the one missing the missing talent since I was the main one complaining about it. But your catching up FL. You blamed Hurts for all this missing talent last year. Now you see how it will help him. So obviously I’m having an effect on you…even though you post some of my thoughts many months later believing they are your own….and actually attacking me over them….good chuckle for me.

58,we are(just were) on page 1958 - thanks for seeing that, hadn't noticed.
