Agreed. We didn't have the talent last year, the point Ham seems to be missing yet again. Slay got the help he needed

And to piggyback off the idea about the QB.   I also think the coaching has no excuses.

It's what I've been saying I want from the GM.   You put such a crap team around the former coach and QB and they took the fall.   To me the GM is supposed to do what they did this year, put a roster to where the coaches and QB can succeed.  Now we can really judge....not how they handled that crap in 2020.

To me that combo won in 2017... the GM was lucky with the relationship with the owner...otherwise he would have been the one to go.

The pint I missed because I was railing about this team going downhill since our SB victory. 2018 offseason I’ve been pointing this out. How last year’s team didn’t have much of a chance being so strapped with a dead cap. Not sure how I was the one missing the missing talent since I was the main one complaining about it. But your catching up FL. You blamed Hurts for all this missing talent last year. Now you see how it will help him. So obviously I’m having an effect on you…even though you post some of my thoughts many months later believing they are your own….and actually attacking me over them….good chuckle for me.

LMFAO,oh noone else noticed the team went downhill after the SB? Only you? Amazing stuff here AGAIN. You need to call the Linc, you know all the answers after the fact

yeah,I agree that Siri needs to show up and show he improved also. He(Howie) gave Siri the tools as well as Hurts

So the day we drafted Wentz, you foresaw all the issues with him? You predicted he was going to leave? You didn't want Wentz the moment we drafted him? Nope all your points are AFTER the fact(again). You also predicted Hurts, when drafted in round 2 would be the starter (show me that post). That's like trying to predict rain 4 years from now. So in 3-4 years who is our QB? You can call it now

That RB Armstead actually caught a TD from Shew when they were w/ the Jags. Still he's well travelled, must be for a reason. Eagles must have there eyes on a few or we're bringing some back.

Hmm i recall the name, but really not any impact that says "I need this guy pronto". I guess it's 1 more TD than Sanders got last year 🙄

Love it,hate it,this is our team. I'm ready for some(real) football-Fly Eagles Fly

Exactly. Now if you just understand how the backloading of contracts and capping out teams just to try and be competitive Isn’t helping us then you’ll be showing solid signs of understanding my points I’ve been making for awhile.

I’m the guy pointing it out in real time. You are working on figuring it out….years later. Hindsight hasn’t even gotten through to you yet here.

QB Wentz took the fall because of much more than surrounding talent. Rosie and Lurie also stripped Pedey of coaches to undermine him.

Yes.. last year neither coach or QB had much to work with.... that's why we were zero competition for any decent team.

And more so Gannon... he got players at every level, no excuses for him.

All 5 draft picks and 3 UDFA's made the team

And that's exactly why we couldn't do a lot of things - we didn't have the talent. Last yr if you took away Smith and Goedert, Hurts had to take off. Yes he was inaccurate at times, missed some reads which were not always his fault etc. Now all we can do is wait and see, so let it happen already. Just want it to start already.

This is the best time... enjoy the weather and final summer activities knowing real football is coming soon.   Not draft picks, contracts, deciding who the 70th guy is going to be as the backup of the backup of the backup to the backup.   The best players in the world will be in action, and they will actually use strategies with game plans, adjustments and audibles and be 100% all in on winning.

We have an opportunity to see how our young players will perform... surrounded by teammates that can actually play... while enjoying players like Kelce, Cox, Graham for a few more games.

The sky is the limit here, we haven't been able to say that in  while.

LMAO oh we ALL knew this 3 years ago(thus the "rebuild"????) Your real time was 2.5 years ago. Glad you caught up a little bit. We'll leave the light on for you

Yes,no talent will bring out the best in any QB 😂. Let's recall who put us in position for the SB run(yes I understand Foles took us home but we GOT to that point SOMEHOW)

PS. I'm not getting into this BS again. It's Hurts team now and he needs to get us to post season and win 2 post season games. This "mission" starts in 12 days. First goal 11 wins and the division title. No excuses

It'''s surely the nest time here - the tourists are leaving!

Right 2019 has no effect on this offense now.... Alshon Jeffrey's contract has zero to do with anything when Hurts takes a snap from Kelce and has Sanders in the backfield ( elite talent that's ready to go) Smith and Brown on the outside,  Watkins in the slot with Goedert at TE....  all that matters is now.

Looking at the cuts around the league, I see a LOT of experienced CBs that got cut. That is surprising. The only real surprise on this roster was cutting Harris at S and keeping Wallace. Wallace has been AWFUL! And looks slow and shows up on the screen when the play is OVER. CB is SUPER iffy past the two starters. Maybe this new Saints guy can bring what Malcolm Jenkins brought for so many years to the Eagles from the Saints.

Eagles also kept more LBs than expected. Not sure what that is all about.

Take it to such extremes. I was the one pointing out how our D giving up record completion percentages was effecting the offense. Now since we have more invested in the D than any other team you see that as a sign our offense should be the best in the league. Always agenda pushing. Just try watching, observing and let’s make decisions based on that for a change.

I have not read one post that states we needed to be the #1 offense in the League. All anyone is saying Hurts needs to be effective passing the ball. He does not even have to be a top 10 QB! just come close when it comes to passing the ball. Show he can be an effective passer and all on here will be on board. You are the only one taking this to the extremes here. We just want a viable option at the most important position on the team. Also, you seem to miss the point where almost all are hoping he does become that! That way we will be way ahead of the curve to compete for a title.....

Thinking we are using 3-4 allot this year...

Sounds like the Eagles released Harris as a courtesy move. Allowing him to look for a place he could possibly start since that what they told him when they brought him back.

Howie did state that they might be willing to bring him back though if he can’t find a situation he likes.
