Like Shcwartz, hate Schwartz,we need someone new with fresh ideas/schemes.Someone who can mix it up,not have the same 4 look D's all game

I just want a coach that is flexible enough to alter his schemes to maximize their talents don’t think it is that tough an ask. The best DCs do it all the time.

Howie has to go. I hear people talk about how he should move aside on player personnel stuff but how would that even work? Like you all need to be in sync, how would Howie be in sync with someone doing the job he did and wants to do? It wouldn't work.

Lurie needs to tell him his role is contracts. He's a wizard, but he needs to be told he is OUT of the player process.if he wants to quit,so be it.But if he has the intelligence we think he has,he should see he is hurting this team and step away himself

He's been here quite awhile.Do you see any flexibility???

No bud. Lurie needs to tell him to get the F out that's it. What would his role in that scenario be?

Well, thats why I said we need fresh blood and lets face it,he never took the Lions to a SB did he?

See we coulda had Mike Mayock in here in some capacity. He's excellent a drafting.GIve him this year and maybe some of next and you should see the raiders start coming on

If this team keeps tending downward and we purge the team(which we honestly need to do win or lose regardless of older players) think it is the perfect time to make serious coaching changes. Let a new coach come in with a pretty stripped down roster and start adding the pieces for his scheme

It is the right time to make major changes within the organisation yeah. Schwartz needs to be the first coach to go. I think he's taken this defense as far as he can.

We need a difference maker at LB and we never get one

That’s fair. I think we had Hicks. Could have been with him....but he got injured everytime for us. Tried with Kendricks. He never really panned out. Had his best season for us on our Super run. So I’m grateful for that.

So would you pay that crazy big salary for Hicks. I agreed with let him walk.

IDK how much farther you can fall then 0-2-1(soon to be 0-3-1) We know JP is out,Alshon and Djax both should go away.I'm looking at a top 12(at least) draft pick, but the way we draft is so bad that may not matter lol

I don’t think Doug is going anywhere no matter how poorly we finish not saying it’s the right call just how I am seeing it.

Biggest change I think the O staff needs is a seasoned QB coach. Someone that will challenge and light into Wentz for dumb mistakes not his buddy Press.

I honestly think Press is alright as the pass coordinator though seems like we have plays there to be made just Wentz isn’t getting it done.

I think most of us accepted and agreed with the decision to let Hicks walk at the time. But then to do the same with KGH? At some point you've got to pay good players at the LB position?

I'm already locked in parsons as our first pick. As far as NEVER taking a LB first, fire the people that think that way.Screw history and get the best player!!

Basically don’t see us really purging the team until closer to the trade deadline and we are still in the dumps....

No they won't purge the team until closer to the trade deadline. But every week that goes by, every loss we suffer I think weakens our position.

I would like to see(and I know I will get bashed) Press go to asst and hire McCown to work with Wentz.McCown never been a stud, but like Fitzmagic,he is consistent and players trust him

Even if they stay on this year,I'm talking about the end of season. We need stop stop banking on old guys and we need new coaches in here who can DEVELOP the guys we DO get

Our guys are so bad noone would give us a 7th for any of them lol

A tiny bit.he's like the queen,a figurehead.he hired these people to do a job and they are failing.Of course he's to blame for the hires, but still after the SB one MUST admit that was Reichs SB,noone elses. He has the colts ramping up.I'm starting to think coaching contracts should be 3 years.not 5.As we can see from a SB title to now it's only been 4 years and apparently Ped has a problem motivating his coaches? IDK but this is quite  quick fall from grace when players would play for less just to play here. Now they are like "ok whatever just pay me" lol

I call BS. I respect Reich. But he was the backup plan for Indy. OC Daniels for the Pats takes theirHC job he still would have been here. We almost made it through that offseason keeping our coaches. Last minute we lost them. Won the freaking SB. It happens. Top coaches aren’t just found on the street everywhere. He’s missed. Our QB coach is really missed also. But how could Lurie stop any of this? He can’t make Reich stay on as Offensive advisor. Let’s face it....that’s what he was. Wasn’t even his offense here. So of coarse having a coaching pipeline like that is missed. Reich’s a heck of a coach. I won’t say anything less. Of coarse I just went on a rant about McDermott being a heck of a coach. I always have been a fan of Harbaugh. We let him go also. Heck of a coach all of them. Can’t put everybody in charge though. Believe in Pedey. It’s been his show that got us there. His mentor is reigning champ right after him. Seeing the connections?

I think someone will offer a second for Ertz. Maybe a third for Cox. The rest? Yeah not going to get a lot there but then it becomes about clearing cap space.

But that is all part of the purge for me and to me you have to start around the deadline especially if we are losing.... Cap we are Fed think project to be over 40m next year.

If we are losing at the deadline why keep old guys we have to likely cut or move anyway move them for assets and get the youngster on the field now to gain experience.

Think we have a few older guys that should have value on the market

So,bash away. Reagor hasn't panned(ok so he's hurt like we need more of those).JJ is contributing largely in Minnesota already.Maybe Reagor is better(time will tell, but JJ gives them continuity to build off of.We don;t have that consistency here

I totally agree with this. But.....you knew that part was coming....you kind of are cherry picking to make the whole defense revolve around one guy to change for. Doesn’t work like that on defense. Gotta get the best out out  the WHOLE defense together. Collectively. I don’t think we’ve given Schwartz what he really needed. I think we’ve been much more focused on prioritizing offense. A few of the defensive priorities have been like a Jones(injured second round pick). Is Hones Schwartz fault?

It sure we would move Cox would t rule it out but think he is a good building stone to help the next group along(now I’d he wanted our to be on a contender different story)

Graham/Malik yea gone likely Barnett is a possible trade not sure we should pickup his 5th year option

Been talking Ertz trade for awhile think if he shows he is healthy Alshon can garner something as well

I’m not cherry picking at all our secondary hasn’t worked since Schwartz got here consistently been bad why???? Clearly he has had say in the CBs why are they not fitting his scheme???? If what he is doing isn’t working why not change the back end???? He has had say at Lb as well outside of Bradham and a healthy hicks they can’t produce why????

I'm calling BS on you.Whatever Reich did here helped the team and it's now more evident in Indy.OK so nothing we can do about him leaving, but no matter who we hire,we should have people we keep an eye on in the event that happens as it inevitably does.We need to scout coaches ALL year as well as players(maybe we do) If so,we need to pick better than we have been.I'm glad Sproles signed on,now let's get some other guys in here(McCown for example).Gotta be a guy out there that can develop WR's in some college somewhere?
