Because they must have wanted him enough to claim him... not take the chance that he would be claimed by another team... or that he would want to go to another team's PS.   By claiming him, they guaranteed he would be here.

Similar to taking Carr in round 7, you didn't want to take the risk.

Right so he will stay on the 53 or why bother using a waiver claim?

If we release him again there is no guarantee he would be here

There was a QB run unless I wanted Tua as my QB(who I got as a BU) Why do you care? it's fantasy lol. Like grabbing Chase from Cincy and letting Burrow fall to round 7. You don't think Carr will do better than the 4400 yards last year with the best WR added???? With Adams he won't do better than last year??

I mean you post your fantasy teams, I'm assuming as an item for discussion.  So i asked... because I haven't seen Carr go that early.  I'm assuming you must have more than 12 teams.

The other WR is Renfro.

To make room on the 53 for Book:

[3:44 PM ET] - The Eagles waived Davion Taylor to make room for claiming Ian Book off waivers. Wow. Taylor really struggled by the end of the summer ... but I thought they’d give him one last chance to stick around. Would rather have kept him than K’Von Wallace.

Yes Renfro and Keelan Cole and Waller at TE. Now they added Davante Adams so why would Carr be ranked below Tannehill??? or Winston?? I took the risk

Correct... or you can release him at any time if you no longer feel necessary to avoid losing him.  At the moment they wanted him.  So they claimed him.  I would not be surprised if they release him later.

Correct... that's why they claimed him. Because they want him on the roster now. We all know that could change later.

Him or Sinnett

BTW some teams took BU QB's WAY early,so there weren't alot of choices left. I will post that team here is a sec Joe

[3:41 PM ET] - The Eagles officially confirmed 14 practice squad signings: Devon Allen, Kayode Awosika, Kennedy Brooks, Deon Cain, Andre Chachere, Le’Raven Clark, Britain Covey, Christian Elliss, Mario Goodrich, Anthony Harris, Reid Sinnett, Noah Togiai, Cameron Tom, and Marvin Wilson. They also confirmed Matt Leo is back with the exemption as part of the International Pathway Program. So, no confirmation of Perine just yet.

Right...so you are asking me why Carr would be ranked lower than guys ranked in the late teens .. it's why I asked how many teams are in your league.  Was just curious...again, I like the player, just was curious.

Awosika?

Very athletic versatile Oline….thoughts were he had a shot at the 53….he looked bad when forced to start at LT possibly killing his efforts.

Sure, thats a goal for me,but no Ham would love to lower the bar and settle for 25 points a game like last year(also know as NO IMPROVEMENT)

I just don’t have the bar set as best offense in the league or it’s a failure.

12. It's my private league. But 1 spot is ST split from D(can be different teams). Some added decent BU QB's early, maybe to keep them from me lol,so I had to make a call for a starting QB or it would have gotten worse yet

Nobody was all about him. Feels like another Rosie making a move for him to feel important. No reason for this.

Besides... are you saying it's impossible for any team to do better than the best from last year?   Who knows, could be 5 or 8 teams doing that?

Backup QB before round 7?  Wow.

I set the limbo bar on the floor and you still get under it. This from the guy who heaped and heaped praise on Hurts. We scored 25.6 points per game last year(against crap teams) This year much better team, another EASY schedule. Sanders scored ZERO TD's last year but we can't score 32 per game now?? why not? Give me reasons

Yeah...ruins the "  I called 2 QBs on the 53 when everyone else was saying 3"  I'm sure you would have brought that up 500 times.

Right we got 25 last year with Sanders not scoring. Added Brown. Better defense to give Hurts more scoring chances, but 32 is NOT DOABLE DOOOOOOOMED

Yeah I think the rookies were trying to keep QB's from me lol

Not even that...but why is 2021 the bar?   Who is to say what 2022 will be?

I think Hurts did well to guide us to the 12th ranked offense in the league. Siri had a completely terrible gameplan and playcalling going much of the first half of the season. D couldn’t get off the field. Dead money and backloaded contracts had us two feet in the hole.
