Maybe we won't need him. All we have to do is 4- 15 minute drives in a row. Of course thats only 28 points when I expect 32 .

Already lowering your own bar

It's part of why Tartt didn't work out, he really didn't have much time to adjust to our system. It's similar to SF but different lingo, players etc. Just don't know if Gardner can be ready in the little time we have, Harris is. It's a lot to absorb.

Wager on who starts.  I go with Gardner if healthy.  Don't even think it's a consideration.

A big portion of our fanbase loves to overthink the simple things.

Why didn't the SF dude work out in SF...the lingo?   At this point then he shouldn't get any job simply due to not having time to adjust to the lingo... but yet nothing to do with his actual play ( which got him cut from SF?)

I think they had their eye on Gardner for awhile and Tartt was a place holder in the event we couldn't get Gardner. If Hurts works out there are a pair of nice S's in the next draft and some CB's because Slay won't be here forever. Of course if Hurts is mediocre that goes out the window

I am SO ready!

With Reagor traded have to wonder what WR we either sign or bring up from PS… can’t image we go into the season with only 4 on the 53

He didn’t get cut did he wasn’t he just a FA??? Health was Tartts biggest issue in SF and not sure if it was health related here but he missed a ton of time. Hard to make your case if your never on the field especially for a new team

Think Garnder will be fine entire week he might split reps maybe not play as much as he will later in the season but I’m sure he will start.

With Sanders dealing with another hamstring injury do we look at another RB seen something that we are signing the former Jets RB Perine to our PS. Could he end up being a call up week 1 gives us a different RB type compared to Scott/Gains.

I mean you post your fantasy teams, I'm assuming as an item for discussion.  So i asked... because I haven't seen Carr go that early.  I'm assuming you must have more than 12 teams.

The other WR is Renfro.

Carr is ranked as an 8th round player in 12 team formats. GB took him one round early which is acceptable. I see no issue here.... Especially if other teams are making a run at the position....

Was listening about NBA refs gambling on games and thought why does a player get banned from playing if he gambles, but the Refs do not even get looked at? Seems to me that they should have the same rules imposed for the Refs for all sports, including NFL... No?

Agree , especially the last sentence

Of course I always seem to draft players before they should go, so I am not one to judge lol

Would still like to sign Lindsay  if possible. No bell cow, but he would be fine in the RBBC

I don't know why he is ranked so low. He had nearly 5,000 passing yards last year(MOST in the NFL),the big problem was only 27 TD's. One of his best targets(Waller) got hurt and was out numerous games plus all the BS with Ruggs getting arrested. Now they added Davante Adams, maybe the best WR in the league. May take a little time to get the timing down, so why the low ranking? Makes no sense and I believe he is an under rated bargain/ Last night I got Herbert in round 3 drafting 8th. So maybe Carr is a risk, but in round 7 I will take him and have a great first 6 rounds. It's a gamble I will take(unless I can get Herbert in 3) Carr passed for more yards than him or anyone else last year. The lack of TD's I suspect will be fixed,so I am thinking he would be on par with Herbert in fantasy stats. Oh well,my team,my choices . Should be a good tough first game for Carr taking on the Chargers. IDK if you saw that game last year just EPIC offense on both sides. everyone picks up Adam early, and grabs Waller in the mid rounds, yet ignores the guy who throws to them.Makes no sense to me. Keelan Cole and Renfrow are not terrible either. last draft tonight(9th) and I will use that same strategy taking Carr late if it plays out that way

Worse if it's a ref, they can throw the game if it's close

ESPN Fantasy Projection: Carr posted career-high marks in pass attempts, completions and yards last season, finishing top five in all three categories. And yet he still failed to post his first ever top-10 fantasy campaign. The primary culprit: A lack of rushing production. Carr has never cleared 140 rush yards in a single season and has six rushing TDs in eight campaigns. That will continue to limit Carr's fantasy output, but the good news is that he enters 2022 with the best supporting cast of his career after Las Vegas acquired Davante Adams as a running mate for Darren Waller, Hunter Renfrow and Josh Jacobs. Carr should be considered a strong QB2 with back-end QB1 upside.      OK enough about Carr. I like my strategy even if noone else does. I build a solid team then snag him late. Guess I wil know as the season progresses. BIG test for him game 1. Last years game was just EPIC(they also forgot Keelan Cole on this list)
