Also in fantasy everyone is leaving my birds D on the waiver wire. I drafted them late in a few leagues and picked them up today in another as my BU D,once again I can play the match ups. I feel like Carr they are being underrated. I guess that is on Gannon now lol. Easy schedule,2nd easiest in the league,so I see no reason I can't play them in a few matchups along the way.If Gannon can put this talent together it will be a nice pick up off the waiver wire

BTW in that epic OT game last year Carr was going toe to toe with Herbert

Sounds like Dillard will go on IR and we'll bring up Clark

Vegas recommending if you can still get 10.5 wins on dem boyz to take the under. 9 - 10 wins at the most

Eagles prediction.   I don't see them as underdogs except for possible game vs Green Bay.  If I had full confidence in the QB I would say 13 or 14 wins.  I would say 12 should be very easily attainable... I'm just going with BG except instead of 3-3 vs the division,  I think they should win 5.   I mean, the Giants are a mess, Dallas is dealing with injuries and Washington has the worst human being of all time playing QB for them right?   And I'll give one of the 3 of .... Steelers new QB, Arizona no Hopkins and Saints the benefit of the doubt.

No reason with all the intangibles in our favor we don't win 12.

So looks like most think between 10-12 wins. I actually saw a prediction we win the SB! Now that would shock me!!

I took GB Def because they have a late bye week. I hate switching the Defenses and Kickers during the season. My Kicker also has a late bye week... Prater

So much for trading him for anything worthwhile....

Clark stinks….Hope not. I would think Driscoll would be the backup.

Well, I hear it is not season ending injury. Also Driscoll never played LT before.... Not saying he can't. Just that he never had...

It will also be interesting to see what the defensive sets are since we changed out alot of players

I'm interested in seeing the offense. But way more looking forward to seeing the D. I wanna see some LB/S blitzes.

I just want Hurts to step up! This is the single most important issue for the team. All know it. I really am hoping he comes thru for the team. This would be huge for the future of this team. I know I am probably going to be disappointed, but he may surprise all of us (except Ham)...

Crossing my fingers................

Probably the one Time I won't mind hearing " I called It" from him lol

With Hurts I think we can get 11 wins. Without Hurts 4 wins.

LMAO. You're a riot. I enjoy the entertainment value

I'm not going to write off the Saints as easily as some. Alot of their success/failure is going to depend on their QB too. I think losing Sean was a big deal also. I didn't like Winston in TB because there was no consistent play. he could toss 6 TD's 1 week and 6 picks the next,so their season depends on which Winston shows up. If they got him to settle down and not be gung ho(like another QB we know well) they could be an ok team. You just can't write off guys like Thomas and Kamara and they added my boy Olave to the mix. I think that game will be closer than everyone else thinks. We really don't have the luxury of taking any team for granted. Siri needs to grow as a coach as well as Hurts which we have discussed until there is nothing left to discuss. I'm happy we fleeced them on defense, that will be a sore spot for them, but their O is capable of putting up points. Why I say I am excited to see our defense. I know we have the tools on offense if Hurts can step up his game. Not that I put alot of stock in CBS rankings, however we are listed as the #3 defense in fantasy(for now). And speaking to Stine, a SB run is a possibility to me if we can get all the cogs in this machine timed and peaked. I sincerely believe this team is better than the SB team as far as having talent. We just need to bring it all out and I believe we can beat anyone

I believe the win total will hinge on the first 3-4 games. I cant rule out a 12 win season, but we all know the first few weeks there are(with all teams) timing issues. Working in the off season with AJ will certainly pay divvys for Hurts now that he is here,so I will stick with my 11 wins unless we go 4-0 to start the season. The Vikes are tough,so we could lose that one. We will have a hard time covering my other boy JJ and Cook is no slouch at RB and our D's speed could be tested if they get Reagor in a few plays with his 1 trick pony play he knows, he is still FAST and the Vikes D isn't terrible. Should be a great game as we see if Gannon/Siri can make the defensive adjustments. I really like this team ALOT on both sides of the ball

Bro, how many years have we all been harping on "we need CB's and LB's. Howie always shied away from them(reasons unknown). You can pretty much bank that Howie prefers WR's over RB's and linemen over secondary. But I think he finally woke up. We know he took time one year to get "schooled" perhaps he has done more of that or learned what to shop for in defensive players,or taken advice from his D staff and gotten them who they wanted. I'm hoping after the Wentz /Ped debacle and the muffed Reagor pick that Howie said "I need to do better". I still believe the Hurts round 2 pick was a CYA for Howie in the event that what happened actually DID happen. IMO Howie has done a fantastic job the last 2 years,a complete turnaround from some years where muffed draft picks and shaky contracts were the norm. I am very optimistic about this team NOW and in the next few years. We got younger which we all clammored for, still some ways to go. Slay is getting up there as is Kelce and  some others. If we get the draft picks up to speed we will be in good shape. next draft there are 3 real nice QB's on the board, some talented CB's and a S that should go high and with 2 round 1 picks we can add anyone we want. So although this year should be nice it's an easy schedule and I don't want to be complacent. It looks like we will be playing teams at/near full strength. Not like last year when we played teams with third stringers, missing RB's and the like. So overall great test to see where we are and learn for Siri and make the tweaks in the next draft/offseason to keep this team competitive for many years. Fly Eagles Fly

Hey Stine. They(GB) have a nice little WR that caught my eye in Doubs. Kid plays with passion. Seems like an Arod "go to type".If he's scoring fantasy points early on,I would have NP putting him on my bench as a bye week replacement. I am keeping my eye on him. Doubs reminds me of those clutch guys you need, like the Wes Welker type or like when we had Avant here. At any rate if he is on the fantasy FA/waiver wire wire I would add him to my scout team. I will be if he shows me something. Yeah that can be a nice strategy taking those spots with late byes. Usually not a big kicker difference, but D can make a big difference so I try to have to from the start to play the early match ups. if my bench D sucks trading them for another isnt a huge deal. Sometimes good D's have rotten schedules so I look to snag those when the back 1/2 of their season is cake. I stashed that new RB that got shot for the Wuss. He had the start job before he got shot.
