You mean when we won a SB playing out of 11 personnel primarily... Vs not winning a SB since????

Also we won the SB with a nice balance of running and Foles game management skills.Since the SB Ped gives up the run game, thats another big difference I see

Your Parson’s die hard suggestion at this point has no merit. Not trying to be a dick. But too far away to lock in anyone with some unknown pick selection for us. I would say that Ertz is very ripe fruit for us to trade. Everybody always wants to trade garbage and get back everything. I don’t believe in that. Take advantage...yes. Opportunities knock. But you can’t be afraid to trade valuable assets to gain for the team as a whole. Those are the ones that give you the real return. Think about all your mock drafts. Could you get some return in an Ertz deal before the deadline? I’d argue in our screwed up roster....he might be our best trade bait. And the guy wants a huge pay raise. Let me stress this again. We have him on a very good deal(all credit to Rosie on this/you know I bash and give credit equally). Best thing for us is for him to play out the next two seasons in his prime under current contract. But you are hitting on my pet peeve with Rosie and our problems. I just don’t want to pay Ertz on a no win team. Wait....let me say this again....no wins...we haven’t won a fu34ing game! Sometimes you have to do things for the better of the whole. And Ertz is trying to strap us in to more paying s guy three years from now for his play today. That’s our fu27ing problem. Everybody shoots me down. Thinks Rosie is a wizard. Smart guy. Has his strengths. But there is, in fact, a guy behind the curtain. We are paying today and next year for performances of yesterday. You feel the difference. It wasn’t magic. It was pushing the buck down the road. We won a SB...finally. I would have done anything for that moment. I’ve been a tortured fan long enough. But we’ve been paying the price since. We are a capped out team that hasn’t won a game. Most everybody is up for trade. Explain to me how Ertz has been so crucial in our run to the top of the league this season. You can’t. Many things are broken. 53 man roster. Gotta always do what’s best for the collective. I’ll give you your first point: Ertz has been a special player. Hard to find difference makers of that caliber.

So if he is under contract for 2 years on a "good deal" why trade him?.Let him blow his smoke,he's still gonna give it his best because if he wants more money other teams are watching.I dont see trading Ertz until I see Goederts replacement on the roster(and I do not see him).As I said,I am not against trading him,but that would be a prerequisite for me(maybe not for you). Therefore trading Ertz also has no merit because first WHO is your trade partner and WHAT do you get from them? My parsons pick is just as factual(besides he's a homer and we like those despite the history of no LB's)

SHhhhh(my default Panthers won again today)

Sb was '17 not '18

I know read my post won a SB running primarily 11 personnel. Wentz has his best statiscal season in 2017 running primarily 11 personnel

Idk looks a and sounds like Wentz is pretty damn good with the 11 personnel

My thoughts on Travis Fulgham after watching him in #Eagles training camp:
** Built like Arcega-Whiteside ** Made some tough catches over the middle
** Not especially quick
** Was surprised how much QBs threw to him since he was new. Seemed to get open.

Welp lets hope he can do it in an actual game

Bold predictions time!!!!!

Eagles win 28-13 tonight

Wentz throws a pair of Tds and NO INTERCEPTIONS

Miles Sanders rushes for over 100 yards gets 50+ through the air to go with a rushing and receiving TD

Killins makes a huge splash with a 50+ yard TD reception

Defense we force 3 turnovers pair of interceptions and a FF.

Yup overly optimistic but wouldn’t be bold predictions if I went with what everyone is already expecting

Just in case we missed them  my bold predictions from earlier.... Hr till game time

Apparently it's Mills at corner and Epps at safety. I actually like this move as we get to see what Epps has against a top TE. He has two more years on his rookie deal, and if he plays well he would help us out a lot. If you look at the guys playing strong safety for us, Mills, Parks and Epps are all sixth or seventh round picks, so there's no reason to think that Epps would be outclassed by the other two.

I like this move as well still want Maddox as the 3rd S when he gets healthy though

I hope Wallace gets reps tonight then as the 3rd S

Ertz is a disgruntled player for the Eagles right now...He has not been paid like other top three TE at his position. Might be time to move on from some of these old players. I sure hope Mialata and the young guys show up. I wanna see Killins explode and get the rest of the Speed burners fired up tonight. I want a better game plan tonight from Peedy ...a win tonight even after this miserable start might still hold our interest this season.

Yup, I would keep Mills at corner. When Parks and Maddox come back, I would let them, Epps and Wallace fight it out for playing time at SS/third safety.

Not looking good in my FF league(at least one of them) down 86 points guy I’m facing still have SF D and Kelce....I have two RBs my QB and my D left. Going to say I need a good 100 points from the 4 to even stand a chance

I do have Aaron Jones vs ATL lol so he could go off for 45 points

1st on Barnett, 2nd Jones, 3rd Douglas, 4ths on Maddox Sweat

Slay, Hargrove, Malik, McLeod, Chris Long, Bennett, Jerigan

signed his choice in Lbs in Zach Brown and Bradham also started with Kendricks and Hicks(both had some decent success once they left)

Oh and he already inherited fletcher Cox, Malcom Jenkins and Brandon Graham

Do I really need to continue???

He11 yes...you defintiely Need to continue. You aren’t even getting me started on countering you. All I have to say is Carson Wentz. How many players and picks did we use to acquire him?  I think we are already equal. Haven’t even mentioned but one offensive investment. Much more to follow. You will have to do much...much better than that.
Bradham and Brown were cast offs. Brown was signed well after the draft even. You call that commitment to the defense? A player nobody signed? Weak sauce. I deserve better than that weak argument. Heck YOU are better than that argument. You wouldn’t even have liked your own post on that one.

Didn’t even add in that we traded for his CB in Darby

I mentioned that. Don’t blame that move. We were desperate. He’s very athletic. I thought it was worth a shot. Wasn’t a huge price for a chance at our top corner. But that’s the real heart of the problem....Darby was the big investment and answer at corner. Can’t not invest in LB and go weak at Corner. I think Darby more works for my side of the argument: that the main investment has been in offense.

HahahahahahhahahababahBahababa wow you lost and it isn’t even close you are that delusional to think that Carson Wentz alone makes it like we invested more in the O wow you are better then that ham come on

Bradham and Brown were BOTH hand picked by Schwartz

In reality didn’t even give much for Wentz 1st, 3rd and 1 and 2nd the following year(though we gained a first back in the Bradford trade and got a better pick from it).

so we swapped 1sts lost a 2nd and a 3rd for Wentz

1st on Barnett, 2nd on Jones, 3rd on Douglas, 3rd on Darby already beat out the Wentz investment

Hard to know since we haven't had viable a WR corps for some time

SOunds more promising than Jjaw IMO

Didn’t even touch FAs for the D 10m on Malik, 10m on Hargrove already 100m for Cox, 40m for Bradham Schwartz band picked guy, traded down to acquire Jeringan who we then paid, paid Chris long, trade a 5th for Bennett, signed another Schwartz hand pick LB in Brown.. Signed NRC Schwartz guy, trade a 2nd the. Paid Slay paid McLeod

it’s really not even close between the two we have an O minded HC and we spend more heavily and invest more heavily on D

Well we needed a QB at the time lol.

How do we win tonight?

Mailata plays well at LT, and oline plays well.

Sanders runs for good yardage, making them keep extra defenders in the box.

Wentz avoids turnovers and hits on some big plays.

We contain Kittles.

We stay disciplined and put them in second- and third-and-long by stopping outside runs and quick passes.

Yes when it is your DC hand picked guy when the FO wanted to get Jamie Collins who killed it that season

As pointed out a win tonight puts at first in this sorry division LMAO.Still way whomever wins it does it with a 6 game wins HAHA(OMG!!!).So we could win this division with a 6-10 record and teams with a 10-6 record could stay home(OMG again!!!) If we GET that far and we get guys back and PEAK who knows?(sorry I am dreaming but there is HOPE still lol)

Didn’t even add in drafting Miller in the 4th trading what I 3rd for Avery more Schwartz guys
