Hurts IS tossing the ball. He's also reading the D better and haven't seen any missed open guys - if any. Lions do have a good D - they get paid too ya know.

So 32 PPG is not possible, so we scored 38 instead(oops). I was a little surprised the D gave up 35. Lots of things to sort out but a nice road win all the same. Lots of QB's had really awful first series. Hurts got it together and guys like Mayfield  did the same bad first series. First week jitters. 1-0 on the road to victory!!!!

Also disappointing is Smith only got 4 targets(and no catches). If Hurts is going to play favorites,that is not going to sit well with the rest of the WR's. And while I am all for going with whomever has the hot hand, that kind of disparity won't work. Need to get everyone involved in the O, but I'm sure that will be a topic of discussion at the post game meeting. Nice to see Sanders contributing as well

As far as I could see, Smith simply wasn't as open - Lions' coverage much improved. Watched several plays where absolutely everyone was covered..

Exactly! Run D has to get this stuff sorted out. Epps was cleaning up everything. Possibly our most Underrated

I was going to get down on Sanders, then he ran a few off. Thought Gainwell wasn't used enough.

Lions called timeouts at weird times. Sure they want to get their D lined up, also gave us time to get our O call arranged in a loud stadium.
