I never said don’t draft the DT. I said keep the third first round pick and use it this year. Not going to let you create another false narrative. 

Happy for the win.some thoughts after watching the game live….have not watched it a second time yet…:

* Detroit OLine MAY be the best in the NFL! That being said, I was still disappointed in the lack of pressure by the Eagles’ D line.

* Run defense got WORKED! Again, maybe Lions O Line is simply THAT good.

* Hurts was good. First series was ugly, but he overcame it. In today’s NFL, those free yards for an athletic QB are good to take.

* Sanders looked MUCH better than last year. He actually CAUGHT a pass AND ran over some dudes.

* Liked Covey returning punts. He catches the ball so much cleaner than Reagor.

* I see why they let Reagor go now. Wouldnt throw to him anyway. Its the AJ Brown show. Smith may get frustrated. Gotta watch that.

** Loving watching the Vikes smash captain deuche!

** Patrick Mahomes is simply unreal!

Got to put it in perspective. Lions did well in coverage. We gashed them on the ground…their weakness. But let’s just start in the beginning. Barely played these starters in PS. They come out not looking like a well oiled machine. Smitty dropped an early pass. Hurts started out like 0-6. Oline was good run blocking. Some mistakes pass blocking for sure. Take out the rusty start with the O not playing together…then he was 18 of 26
