So you if we took the S you wanted we dont get Davis and you SAID you wanted the S.You never said you wanted the S????

We had three first round picks this year. Don’t understand where your confusion comes from? I’ll speak slower…1….2….3. Trade back with the third first rounder to add draft picks and select Dax or Karlaftis. Actually thought it was a strength of this class…the end of the first round showed depth.

You don't "carry the day" giving up 35 points. The pick 6 saved their hide

They didn’t look great…I was clearly being sarcastic.

So you do that you lose Davis and/or you don't get Brown, but you'd rather lose those 2 and take the S?? And you never said this???? Check again then tell me who is creating the false narrative

JJ is a freakin STUD. Whiffing that pick will always make me mad

NEVER SAID THAT.

"rusty start"? More excuses, remove or doctor stats to make them look better? yeah nice, but not reality

How much did the starters play actual football before this game? I absolutely attribute that to our slow start. Think it applies to the defense starting poorly also.

But context is huge. Jail break blitz not picked up OR blocked….Hurts runs for his life and flips the ball forward out of bounds. Good play by QB1. Incomplete pass by stat.

AJ dropped one. Smitty had one hit him in the helmet. Blame Hurts for that because you just want to hate. I think Hurts and AJ carried the team to a big win. I really believe we couldn’t afford to lose this week one game.

I mean we aren’t the only team to barely play there starters in the preseason. And most our starters go majority of the snaps in practice even during the joint practices

I believe it matters. Think it attributed clearly to our slow start on both sides of the ball.

Of course you do you love excuses who cares about half the league that did the same thing that didn’t experience slow starts

We're 1-0, PSU 2-0, Notre Dame 0-2

Too bad NO pulled off the 1 pt win

Now for dullass to lose tomorrow - almost perfect!

Just don’t believe Rome was built in a day. We got the win. So it worked. Got through the PS pretty healthy. Learning on the job by fire. Offense and defense didn’t look ready….but I’m sure you blame QB1 for the whole team not being ready. Seemed fairly obvious to me that things picked up after a slow start. Plus I’ll add some was just the balls of the Lions with nothing to lose….I mean fourth and goal from the seven…who runs that in? Ballsy ballsy playcall…and it worked against us.

Thought dullass was tomorrow, it's on now, tied at 3

Didn't see the Vikes game, we're there next wk, may be tougher than we thought pre-season

Watching the game my takes.

OL honestly thought play well both pass and run blocking. The only real pressure was coming from the Lions sending 6-7 guys on blitzes.

On the blitz note was disappointed we didn’t seem to have some counter plays to them lions played aggressively most the game and we didn’t do much to slow down the blitz.

Passing attack was lackluster still, still has to be a massive concern if/when a team stops our ground game.

Hurts ran the ball well did have some nice slant throws to brown and a good deep ball there to him well placed…. He also-had a underthrow to Brown that brown made a play on and some bad passes to the flats I’m sure he would have liked back.
watching all the hits he took no way you can image hurts plays the full 17 games

I don’t blame anyone also don’t make excuses that all you buddy. I’m just stating facts that we are not the only team to rarely play our starters in PS and they started just fine. Using it as an excuse for slow starting is just that

Wattching the TB - dullass game. Twice TB was sacked in the RZ on 3rd down. Why TB isn't running it down there I have no idea. Parsons is a handful, turns it up even more when needed

The rest of the NFCE won today so will be great if at least  Dallas loses

LMAO so what do you think would happen????? Try logic for a change. It would be logical to assume(whether you said it or not because with what you said the logic cannot be denied) that if you take the S you DO NOT GET DAVIS. Why do you not understand this???? My 2 first picks that I vacillated on were Davis and Olave,so we took Davis in lieu of Olave, then instead of Olave we made the trade for AJ with a 1 pick and parlayed that into an extra round 1 next year. Your picks would yield a S and Karlaftis(no Davis,No AJ) and we would still be stuck with your other boy Reagor because we had no other WR's. it;s pretty easy to follow

Cowboys season is over Dak is out indefinitely with a hand injury needs surgery

Wow they never played football before? Everyone else DID??? Just WE didn't? More amazing Ham insights. Many teams struggled today, but it was only OUR guys lmao

Why did it hit him in the helmet, shouldn't the pass be in the breadbasket? There will be drops, noone is perfect but please stop the damn excuses. 56% completion rate is NOT NFL caliber(and even YOU know it)

My concern(and its only 1 game) is that Hurts ball hogs again or only targets his buddy and leaves the others hang out to dry. This will create static in the WR room and it won't take long to manifest.A real leader will give everyone a chance. Smith can be a really nice WR but not if he is never targeted. So we'll see going forward what happens because we arent going anywhere with the Hurts panic circus run, single read and 1 WR who's his friend. I was happy to see Sanders contribute

A. Brown 13 10 155 0 54 25
  D. Goedert 4 3 60 0 27 9
  K. Gainwell 4 2 12 0 8 11
  M. Sanders 2 2 9 0 11 17
  Z. Pascal 1 1 7 0 7 1
  N. Togiai 1 0 0 0 0 0
  D. Smith 4 0 0 0 0 0

Pass distribution. Quez was not targeted at all,not even once
