They split attacked Riley and Gerry to start the half. Can’t deny that was a good plan.

Nate Gerry is just being semi-useless. Creating holes for  their offense. Getting blocked or moving backwards. Commit and get physical. Don’t run from contact...but avoid contact from their 300 plus pound Olineman. That’s the job.

Riley plays hard..,but just doesn’t get it done. I give Shanahan the credit. Really believe he playcalled /creating a Kittle on Riley matchup for us. We don’t have anyone that can cover Kittle...clearly. But that’s why he is the obvious focus of our defense....wait a minute...evidently not. Just my own personal thoughts.

Can a team with regular starters, Wentz, Kelce, Ertz, and Sanders and SEVEN backups score in the second half?

Agree. Ertz does damage in volume and moving the chains. YAC on negative yardage passes...not his forte. We just saw the kind of player that’s great at that in Aiyuk.
