Dude is more than fine. We have Cox and Hargrave, they need to rotate all 3 in, and obviously makes sense to use Davis at the NT spot and vs the run as much as possible.

The V guy on Tampa is a huge part of their defense,  pretty much game changer vs the run.  You take an aspect away from the offense, makes it much easier for your teammates to play.

That first step is "intangible" 🤣

I keep looking at that pic from Petersen,it almost looks photo shopped Wentz looks SMALL

Albert Okwuegbunam
Denver Broncos · TE

When the Broncos traded for Russell Wilson, the deal included sending Noah Fant to Seattle. That element of the acquisition led some to believe that Denver felt Okwuegbunam might still be a redeemable commodity, even though the former third-round pick had been more of a tease than anything to that point.

That theory is proving to be flawed, as Okwuegbunam has caught only two balls since his five-catch showing in Week 1 and has seen his snaps decrease the past month or so. Andrew Beck and Eric Saubert have had bigger roles at the position, and promising third-round rookie Greg Dulcich looks to make his debut soon after working his way back from a hamstring injury.

Besides us,the other game of the week is Buffalo at KC

IDK he ran under 5 second 40,so that first step must be just fine. You don't go sub 5 without a hole shot

Standing up running track….not quite the same as firing out of your stance. I’ve found that DT rarely run fifty yards in a given play….if ever.

Milton Williams rotating as well.

Speaking of Milton….think he won the game for us. Sure looks like he got a finger on their game winning kick to me.

LMAO uh, thats why everything EVERYTHING in the NFL is 40 yards. Is this news to you?????? Why is it timed as  the 40 and not the 50? Are you THAT far behind? A 40 yard dash is not "firing out of your stance?" then WTF is??? WHY do they work on "firing out of your stance"? LOL Jebus do I need to start from the beginning? and WTH do you NEED a DT to run 40 yards anyhow? Does the QB drop back 57 steps before he throws? OMG go ask a dang PEE WEE coach LOL. I thought you were past football 101. OK lets' start from the beginning "this is a football, if you notice, it is not round" They ALL run 40s' in the event a player changes position and they have a COMMON a denominator. Come back tomorrow for football 102. BTW there are "other" drills they run besides the 40 and those are more position specific.

Absolutely he isn’t ever running fourty…fifty or sixty yards. In stride with his long legs.

You can be big and unmovable. That’s great for run defense. Still need good technique and not get too high. He’s still working on that. But penetration….oh that’s a different story. Most any player utilizes multiple moves for that. It all begins with that first step…and burst out of his stance. The whole thing for a DT can involve just five steps rushing….not fifty yards. He hasn’t shown anything as a pass rusher really. Clearly hasn’t shown anything elite. His Bull Rush is his pass rush weapon he brings to the table so far at a Pro level.

It goes down as a TD for Hurts in the stats. Could help him be a contender for MVP. But really it’s just a team TD. Whole offense has to get it done. Oline gotta fire off! TE can’t be wuss..gotta be real nasty blockers…or least assist the QB in 🤣

The brand is….Physical Football! 39 times we punched the other guy in the face….won that 32 times! We going to get that yard…won’t be denied!

So then look at his 10 yard split time if it worries you,or maybe ask the NFL for a 2 yard split time.Let's change the whole combine. You are not obligated to participate in ANY of the drills. You choose to because it gives teams ideas about how good you are compared to other players that play your position to improve your draft slot(and theoretically make more money as a pro).He was not drafted as a pass rusher.I would like to see him learn more of that IF possible. Maybe he will, maybe not. The kid is a ROOKIE, give him until week 11 to be all pro. The kid is FAST what else do you need to know about that? Probably cannot run down a cheetah, but he is fast for a DT. Faster that the other DT's that must REALLY lack a first step. As a run stuffer you don't even need a first step. Hold your ground and don't get moved is what a run stuffer does. I hope in time he can learn to be a pass rusher, but there are no guarantees as the assumption is he can't learn it. He did it a little of it in college,so it's not like he never has done it,but we didn't draft him for that .Whatever he can learn over and above the reasons for drafting him will just be a bonus

Hurts has 39 rushing attempts in 1-yard-to-go situations. He has converted 32 times with 9 touchdowns.

Yes, I can go in from the 1 with an awesome O line and big dudes pushing on my back lol

Agree, nothing elite.... except the top rookie at his position. 😆😆😆😆

Dude.... Hurts over Allen or Mahomes for MVP???   Lol

Hey...  our QB is good on a sneak.   That helped a lot vs Tampa in the playoffs.

Well we have bigger guys to push him in the back now 🤣

If I lost like 30 pounds I could just have Kelce throw me over the D line

You don't need to lose any weight. He can still toss you lol

Once Mailata's shoulder is better he can toss you from EZ - EZ. The FG is GOOD! GBNC just became the 1st NFL player to successfully make a FG as not only the Place Kicker, but football too lmao

Whole bunch of nose tackle to compete against there. Don’t even remember much DT in this past draft. His teammate Wyatt is about all I remember being mentionable. So he’s showing better than a bunch of third day draftees. Definitely the bar to set for the guy we traded up to take almost top ten.

I said contender…..not front runner. Those are the two guys ahead of him. They already have all the name recognition and publicity he’d have to overcome. Like Brady. Anything can happen in a long season. I’d say being third in Vegas odds makes you a contender for MVP….which is all I ever said.
