Hey...  our QB is good on a sneak.   That helped a lot vs Tampa in the playoffs.

It’s a heck of a tool in the toolbox. I’m sure Seattle wishes they QB snuck it to seal off their SB win. Allen real good at it with the Bills also. Their Dline beat our Oline. So however good our Oline was….wasn’t better than their Dline. We’ll find out Sunday if our Oline is better than the cowboys Dline.

Let’s just not count our success any on QB1 that’s 220 and lifts over 600 pounds. None of it is because of him. Just everybody else.

Not sure why Davis running a fast 40 time matters anyway. The dude can flat out stop the run, which is what they will need him for this week. Elliott and Pollard are a solid 1-2 punch. We stop them for the most part and we stop the team. Rush is not going to beat you with his arm assuming he has to drop back on every down. He has been successful on Play Action.

Drafting him was absolutely the right thing to do last draft. Cox is on his last legs and Hardgrave is not getting any younger. Add the fact we could not stop anyone from running the football last year and you try and get players to fix it. Davis is that player.....

Whole bunch of nose tackle to compete against there. Don’t even remember much DT in this past draft. His teammate Wyatt is about all I remember being mentionable. So he’s showing better than a bunch of third day draftees. Definitely the bar to set for the guy we traded up to take almost top ten.

Sure and the rest of the league at his position except for like 10 other guys ....if he ranked 11th at his position.

Team needs a running game and a passing game...they need to stop those things too.  Not sure what your problem is that we got the most important part of a run defense with the big guy? That's a game changer when you take away an aspect of the opponent's offense.

Does the V dude in Tampa get a lot of sacks?

Not sure I like the attitude the Eagles are taking for this weeks game. I keep hearing it is just another game and all are important. This is freaking DALLAS! Get off your butts and get ready to be punched in the mouth unless you thro the first one. I do not get it. I can guaranty Dallas is hyped up!

The difference between regular season and playoffs ...it's what I've been saying.  It is a big game.... but one of 17.    You lose you still have to play 11 more.   Not the same as lose and go home.   The prep work and the intensity is different.

I get it Joe, But To not get up for a rivalry?  Dallas could come out with all of their guns blazing and score a couple quick TD's. Can we come back from that? Just feels wrong to me.

Hopefully you are right and no big deal.....

Jordan Davis was the first defensive tackle to find his name in the Heisman conversation for the first time since Ndamokungsuh in 2009 for a reason in 2021. The monstrous nose tackle was one of the primary reasons Georgia's defense went on one of the greatest stretches of defensive play the sport has ever seen.

Georgia Football fans are no strangers to the idea of Davis dominating football games, though the Philadelphia Eagles fan are becoming accustomed to this newfound feeling.

The 6-foot-6, 340-pound nose tackle does more than absorb blockers and clog the middle of the defensive front. Especially in his senior season, Davis showed an ability to track down running backs and quarterbacks out of the backfield while also being able to collapse the pocket and pressure the quarterback.

Through five games, Jordan Davis is the highest-rated rookie defensive lineman in the NFL, according to ProFootballFocus

You don't need to lose any weight. He can still toss you lol

Once Mailata's shoulder is better he can toss you from EZ - EZ. The FG is GOOD! GBNC just became the 1st NFL player to successfully make a FG as not only the Place Kicker, but football too lmao

NO, I got "bear fat" 🙄

Indications are Rush will start vs us, so there is the built in excuse-"OH Dak didn't play"

Common ploy to get people/players to relax. I can guarantee they understand how big this game is. You hear the same thing SB week "just another game and we have to go do our jobs" Nothing to see here. We used to come out flat, but you can also get players over wound on hype they can't settle into their groove. key for the coach is to get them excited but relaxed. I hope we win the toss and defer as snuffing an opponents opening drive in hostile territory with home field fans cheering, will be all the incentive they need. I hope Davis stuffs Zeke for -8 yards on their first drive, that will set the tone and set off our blitz packages. Rush gonna find out he's not the 4-0 QB he thinks he is

I'm just saying it's different.  That's why you see comments like that.  It's a big game for sure, but they won't acknowledge it the same way because they know they are a long way from the finish line.  Playoffs is the finish line if you lose.  Probably why the running QBs have struggled because defenses sell out to stop them from running. Not so much with 16 other games to play.

They can't let the hype get to them. I would avoid over winding them too. We know it's a big game, but calm down and play Eagles football. Calmly execute and bust their arses. Like mouthy trash talking boxers who come out and get knocked out by the quiet guy with the first punch LOL. I want to be the quiet guy

Seeing the all 22 breakdown this week it was clear the Cards figured out how to expose our Zone coverage. They lined up three WR to one side and forced TJ Edwards to cover a WR. Always going to be a problem for us.

I just said trading up to get a run stuffer is a complete different mentality for this franchise. No idea what all you’re talking about.

They barely prep during the one week between regular season games. That one week prep for playoff games they just have so much extra time to prepare so much more.

Always been penetrating Dline. No doubt we invest in the trenches. But always invested in pass rush potential much more than run stuffing. You missed the whole point I made with your comment here.

So, a DT is NOT a lineman? Ok got it. You missed the whole point I made with your comment here

You said defensive lineman…then lineman. I think it’s absurd to think Davis was that huge a factor for Georgia D. Arguably the most stacked D I’ve ever seen. Davis came out on many of the most crucial downs even.

Yeah this guy is really good!!! (Both of them are)

Is Mailata playing? Or is that a game time decision?

If there's a chance of him reinjuring the shoulder i'd rather see him sit out until after the bye

Here you go nitpicking words for your agenda. DO you really think a DT and OT can be compared? isn't it rather obvious once D line was mentioned that would be what he meant? So eing the best DEFENSIVE LINEMAN isn't good enough, he now has to play on offense too?
