I’m fine with giving Kelce his token start. Let Jurgens take up the charge this week. Gives this week and the bye week to get Kelce healthy. So much season left.

If there's a chance of him reinjuring the shoulder i'd rather see him sit out until after the bye

Always a chance of anyone getting injured on any play. He could have played last week

I hate "token" moves on anything. If you can play, play,if you can't you can't. Stop the BS "token" moves- ridiculous

If Kelce is out Mailata needs to play if he is ready, even is he spots in on a rotational basis. Maybe different if Dullaz was 1-4 but this game is a pivotal cog to the division title. A loss put them at a tie with us AND gives them the tie breaker. I'm sorry, but whoever can suit up needs to do so this week, you can rest next week. A loss at home to them would force us to win at ATT which is possible but why not put the pressure on them instead of us? If Kelce is out that is even more pressing. Gnats also with a chance at the division title, can we really afford a loss this week? And while there is "alot of football yet to be played" we need to win vs Dullaz and the Gnats,or this "all in" was for nothing and again the "wait until next year" cry goes out

"Through five games, Brown has 23 receptions that have gone for 10+ yards. According to PFF, that is the most in the NFL thus far this season. Just behind him with 22 is Justin Jefferson of the Minnesota Vikings. In third place is Marquise Brown of the Arizona Cardinals with 21 and after that, three players are tied with 20; Cooper Kupp of the Los Angeles Rams, Tyreek Hill of the Miami Dolphins and Stefon Diggs of the Buffalo Bills."

You come back too soon and there's a greater chance of reinjury

So Snyder stepped back. Gruden takes all the fire. But the league investigation into Washington ongoing for years has fielded no other results but trying to ruin Gruden. Sure seems like Snyder got something in leverage on them.

He is a stain to the league. Washington was a great franchise in the 80s and early 90s.   I have relatives down there, was fun rooting for them to beat Dallas etc.  Joe Gibbs was a great coach.

Then this idiot comes along.  Granted it's a rival, but it's bad for the league to have this franchise be in the toilet for so long.   For me I miss the NFC East being the best division in football.

They are going to stink until he sells. Just awful.

And another difference between regular season and playoffs... much different attitude as far as if players will play or rest.    In the playoffs resting could be for 8 months

This could be the last season for our HOF C. He has a big starting streak. Guy never misses games. Let him take the first snap…or series…then let the young guy come in. Gives us the whole extra bye week of managing Kelce late career season. The guy sets a massive standard. No shame in that

I think Mailata plays. Still a chance Dillard could suit up. Does that change any opinions? If Dillard is a go…is it easier to give Mailata the two more weeks off?

He’s got dirt in Jerry Jones and several other owners….along with Goodell…..if you believe rumors.

Those Bears have some seriously ugly unis.

Would be the rookie Jurgens taking over if needed.

LOL yeah about 3 hrs later I was talking the game with my barber and remembered it was Jurgens and not Dickerson. I had the right profile in my head, but got the name mixed up. I felt like 1685258098_Simpsons-HomerDOH!.gif.a4a89eca279d97c5d197a8fe0806170d.gif

The Ziggy Ansah story. Everybody saw him as the most elite level freak pass rusher. But tried to be a tough football player. Played hard for his team….injured…not hurt. Ground that shoulder into abyss. Love the character of the player.  But gotta protect tough guys from themselves. Not alsways worth the risk of playing through. Sone injuries…..are just a pain threshold. Take a local shot to numb it and try and grit it out. But need excellent medical diagnosis always. Not one game worth risking anybody season or career over. Now ….the older guys….are kind if playing with house money. We aren’t saving Kelce, BG, Cox or Hargrave. So we want to milk whatever they got this season. Kind of nice really. Want them to last all year. But we aren’t leaving anything left. Going to run those tanks dry.

Who do we resign? Who can we resign?

Got two S be good. Maybe not the best if the best guys. But better than average and young. So they could gel together to form a decent dup for awhile. Bradberry? Could see him go plenty of ways. Could love it here enough to give us a solid deal. Maybe if we sign him longer term at his age. But we are tied into Slay right now. Just paid Maddox. White at LB is similar. All these one year guys playing themselves into big money this year. Everything beat to death our biggest contract yet coming with Hurts.

  • Author

So Kelce, BG, Cox and Hargrave all almost have to go. Rather invest in the Secondary resigning. Got Davis and a Milton up front. Sweat in his prime. Really doesn’t get the publicity. Excellent player. Just not Trent Cole level player. Reddick in place.

White, Gardner-Johnson should both be priority. After Epps of coarse. Got to show him the love. Right way to go about things to get Epps. Guy that came from practically nowhere. Earned it time and time again….against the odds. Good message throughout the organization. At a certain point draft status means nothing. Sent Reagor out as quick as anybody gets given up on….that isn’t arrested.

  • Author

Quez would be nice to show love to. He might not want to stay though. He is a very good player. Somebody give him a contract and chance to be a number two at least. Maybe a higher percentage passing team as well.

Sanders is the other big potential FA.

  • Author

Think Sanders is still in earn it mode. He has to show durability and rush over 1,000 yards. But think Rosie has a limit it is capped out in for a starting RB. Versus drafting a stud to replace.

  • Author

So if Sanders will stay on a team friendly contract….it might happen. But very fine line. He has to prove to be good enough. But he might price himself out of here if he’s really keeps this up.

What 's "too soon?" Define please. Apparently he could have played last week. I would assume that's why we have med staff to make recommendations

Oh an asterisk "token" .Even worse. Let's fraud everyone by giving him 1 snap to keep that streak alive- pitiful deceit. His entire future HOF consideration rests on that 1 snap?. They will deny him entry because you know that streak was broken with an asterisk?
