If you look at ours and dullass's schedules, it's going to be a tight race for the division.

????   We basically have a 3 game lead?

That would be right!

NFCE is looking like the best division in the league now going by standings.

Get used to the defense... nice to see this here,  the city really identifies with that.

Like the defense because they are holding up the offense. That's not going to work as well when we face post season teams. Other than the 2nd 1/4  I think we have scored 15 points in the second 1/2 in 6 games? is that why we got AJ and drafted Smith? I mean we can't average one FG in the second 1/2? And although we are 6-0 I don't think that will hold up vs the KC's and Buffalo's. 3 picks won the game with a BU QB

Eagles' D only giving up 10.5 Pts/game. I'm LOVIN' it! This D is for real!

Yeah.... Tampa and Green Bay are just lighting up the scoreboard

Minnesota wasn't missing anyone?  Your team with your boy who seems to be lighting up everyone else and whose team won all the other 5 games.

That's the type of win we haven't seen in 3 years.   Pretty much all defense there, even with the 2 big turnovers we shut them down.

Big tackle from the holder. Dude is special.

That was the best game we played IMO

KC is, so is Buffalo?

Probably on defense.   The offense IMO was really helped by the dumb defensive game plan of Minnesota.  You can't play off coverage and just rush 4 vs our offense.

yeah agree,it was rather shocking they didn't change anything, just kept doing the same things we were stopping, really weird I had that one down as an L lol

I like our offensive coaching and play design.  They keep putting Hurts in position to keep taking layups.  And I like the way Hurts is consistent on the plays he should easily make. Mix in a few runs which he us extremely talented at... they just keep putting him in position to hit the layups and let the playmakers do the rest.

Nice time for a bye,get healed up,then the long stretch run

Yeah I said I need to get used to the dink and dunk,I was just expecting more downfield fireworks with AJ and Smith. Still don't know if Hurts can throw a 55 yard pass lol

I had GB as their best chance to lose a game this year.   Right now you look at it, the 1972 Dolphins should be nervous.   You mentioned the Bills and the Chiefs.  I agree. That game wouldn't come until the Superbowl.

The league to me isn't so impressive this year.   Much like baseball,  seems very top heavy.

Rams look pretty bad, alot of the magic last year is gone. Vikes should still be hanging around later. Gnats playing a bit too well for me. Bark finally 100% seems to make a difference

I don't mind they do that, what bugs me some is we still don't know if Hurts is a franchise QB. He is winning, noone can argue that but....... What if the D goes away in a year or 2? Lane can't finish a season either it seems(although he may with help from the bye) Think we will be ok at C when Kelce hangs it up

They do a great job of putting him in position to not need that pass.   Brown is a great catch and run guy... no real need to go downfield.

The biggest test to me will be  rematch in Dallas.   In the sense that they have a good defense, seeing us once they can get a better feel for what we can do.

Adding AJ was huge, but I think the biggest factor is this coaching staff having a full year to design plays with these guys.

Really there was no excuses, just like we said from the beginning.  No need to set the bar low.

Agreed.

The gnats have me on alert.

Still hard for me to say Hurts is the guy. D is winning alot of these games. I would rather put up points

But isn't that exactly what we need to see before we sign the big deal?

Here is what we know.... IMO.

1. Might not need " franchise" QB to win it this year.

2.  We know Howie can get out of big contracts.

I think long term...  the coach is looking good.  We have a young dude...be nice to have him here 20 years.

1) probably not 2) We took a big hit with Wentz. On the bright side Hurts has had the same coach 2 years in a row when the rest of the time they changed annually(even in college)

I do see where Hurts has worked very hard, it DOES show. Making better reads but I would like to see a game where the defense disappears and see if we have the offense to win the big games. I still don't know we can for a fact. I find this "bothersome". And while I love being 6-0 as you say the future is what it's about. Although I love a good 65 yard bomb I would still like to see downfield shots. We know Hurts can't throw those 65ers,ok given, still would like to see LONG accurate ones over 40 yards. It would just make me feel better as the team evolves over time lol

I admit I was a bit ticked when we kept running left and being tackled for losses, yet they kept trying it like it was magically going to work this time LOL. Without the pick in the second 1/2 who knows what could have happened. I just hate relying on defense to win every game(but hey it's working so far)

I wouldn't get too cocky lol. yeah we are 6-0 and we have put pressure on them with the tie breaker, but Dak> Rush and they will be revenge ready when we hit AT&T

I mean... I prefer not to have my defense dissappear.  If they are that good, they should play like that every week.

My idea hasn't changed.  17 games and the playoffs... enjoy the season and make my judgments at the end.   I don't see the need to rush anything?  No mock drafts,  no free agency....no 2023 or beyond thinking until 2022 is done.

The reason is that we have so many key older players, and so many one year deals.  I need to see the whole picture before worrying about one or two moves.
